Not even four in 10 people across America believe President Obama's narrative about being born in Hawaii, according to a new poll. A new 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll shows that only 39 percent of respondents believe Obama was born in Hawaii as he wrote in his book. The magazine boasted, "A whopping 63 percent – very nearly two-thirds of us – went out on a limb and stated for the record that we believe in the United States. It's enough to make you proud to be an American – or 63 percent proud, at any rate." But that included those who say they believe he was born in Kansas or some other unknown state, which still would conflict with Obama's narrative.     read the rest of the story>>>>>>>>>>>>>

KAGAN THE PAGAN

AMONG JEWISH PEOPLE THERE IS A TYPE THAT JEWS THEMSELVES CALL A BAGEL AND LOX JEW. KAGAN THE PAGAN IS A BAGEL AND LOX JEW. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? IT MEANS A PERSON OF JEWISH DESCENT WHO MOCKS HER OWN RELIGION. A PERSON WHO SHUNS HER OWN RELIGION. WHEN SHE SPOKE AT HER NOMINATION HEARINGS THIS WEEK AND SAID SHE WAS PROBABLY LIKE MOST JEWS AT A CHINESE RESTAURANT DURING CHRISTMAS, WHAT SHE IS DOING IS INSULTING NOT ONLY HER OWN HERITAGE, BUT CHRISTIANS AS WELL. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE DO NOT NEED ON THE SUPREME COURT: AN ANTI-RELIGIOUS PAGAN. SHE IS THE TYPE OF JUDGE WHO STANDS IN SHARP RELIEF TO A SERIOUS PERSON OF JEWISH DESCENT.

EASY FIX TO OIL SPILL? RUSSIANS SAY YES!

Oilspill BY: Bob Barney

The Plain Truth

REPOSTED- Original Date: June 4

While Americans are screaming at BP, and Fox News and MSNBC is telling us that the sky is fallen and the oceans are being polluted beyond repair, most Russian peasants are asking a very simple question. “Russian peasants,” you ask? Yes, Russian peasants! Those former soviet dupes that lived under the repressive Soviet Empire, evidently have more expertise in stopping a runaway oil well undersea than the president of the United States, his best military minds, or any geologists from BP. The sad story is that Russia has over the years had many oil well disasters, many times worse than the BP spill in the Gulf. Why don't you know about these disasters? Soviet propaganda, maybe dark secret coverups? Nope, they just fixed these problems within 48 hours! Yes, 48 hours! How did the Soviets do 45 years ago, what America doesn't have the brains to do today? I really don't know!

The Plain Truth is that most military experts in America have the ability to stop this mess in about 48 hours. They know how to do it. They know it has been done many times, and they have been trying to tell the world all about it- but nobody cares to listen to them. They have tried to contact famous radio talk show hosts, all who haven't cared a whit to listen. They have tried to inform the press, to no avail, and now they are using the world wide web in an attempt to get their message out, and The Plain Truth is attempting to do this for them.

We got our first e-mail from an unnamed source from a man who identified himself as a naval explosion expert. After reading the e-mail, I frankly dismissed it as a hoax. However, because our sister site RaceRap.Com does have many military viewers, I kept thinking about that e-mail, wondering if it was a real one or not. The next day, while talking with someone whose neighbor works for the government (that's all I'll say here) informed me that the e-mail was true! His neighbor told him that everyone “in the know” has been trying to get this message out to everyone, from Rush Limbaugh to Glenn Beck. None bothered to investigate. The Plain Truth did and the following report should shock the heck out of you!

Nukeoil The simple answer to the problem we have in the Gulf is a controlled demolition type explosion, over the leak, which will cause the floor of the ocean to collapse and seal up the hole in the floor! If this seems to easy of an answer, than take a moment and follow the links in this article ans see if a simple solution is known and being ignored by our leaders! The Russian peasant can't figure out why they know what we do not know. Russia in 1966, we have reports that in Soviet times such leaks were plugged with controlled nuclear blasts underground. The idea is simple, KP writes: “the underground explosion moves the rock, presses on it, and, in essence, squeezes the well’s channel.”

Yes! It’s so simple, in fact, that the Soviet Union, a major oil exporter, used this method five times to deal with petrocalamities. The first happened in Uzbekistan, on September 30, 1966 with a blast 1.5 times the strength of the Hiroshima bomb and at a depth of 1.5 kilometers. KP also notes that subterranean nuclear blasts were used as much as 169 times in the Soviet Union to accomplish fairly mundane tasks like creating underground storage spaces for gas or building canals.

A former nuclear submarine officer and Iraq veteran has suggested that we think in radical terms in ending the massive oil spill in the Gulf coast, including using a nuclear bomb.

But the idea by Christopher Brownfield, who is now a visiting scholar on nuclear policy at Columbia University, is not as far fetched as it sounds. Brownfield says BP is less interested in stopping the leak, but in catching the oil.

BombBut the military has the tools to seal it. Soviet military used nuclear explosives on four separate occasions, beginning in 1966, to seal off runaway oil and gas wells under water, according to Brownfield. The issue is if Obama would go a route that would alienate many of his supporters on the left,” says the web blog Soda Head.

The web site NEWSER quotes Brownfield as saying, “It's like putting a 4-inch straw into a 22-inch-diameter fire hose—a sordid attempt by BP at drinking its own milkshake,” Brownfield writes for the Daily Beast. “BP appears to be just as concerned with protecting its shareholders as with stopping this catastrophe.”

“For more than 100 years, explosives have been used to break the necks of runaway oil wells, sealing them shut with tons and tons of rock.” Brownfield added.

Pravda-logo Komsomoloskaya Pravda, Russia's best-selling daily publication, has stated this idea: Why not just nuke it?

During the Soviet years, Russia's communists had to deal with numerous oil disasters and on five different occasions they employed controlled, underground nuclear blasts to quickly solve the problem.

[The] underground explosion moves the rock, presses on it, and, in essence, squeezes the well’s channel," Pravda reported.

"It’s so simple, in fact, that the Soviet Union, a major oil exporter, used this method five times to deal with petrocalamities," added Moscow reporter Julia Ioffe, writing for True/Slant. "The first happened in Uzbekistan, on September 30, 1966 with a blast 1.5 times the strength of the Hiroshima bomb and at a depth of 1.5 kilometers. KP also notes that subterranean nuclear blasts were used as much as 169 times in the Soviet Union to accomplish fairly mundane tasks like creating underground storage spaces for gas or building canals."

Weapons labs in the former Soviet Union developed special nukes for use to help pinch off the gas wells. They believed that the force from a nuclear explosion could squeeze shut any hole within 82 to 164 feet (25 to 50 meters), depending on the explosion's power. That required drilling holes to place the nuclear device close to the target wells. A first test in the fall of 1966 proved successful in sealing up an underground gas well in southern Uzbekistan, and so the Russians used nukes four more times for capping runaway wells.

"The second 'success' gave Soviet scientists great confidence in the use of this new technique for rapidly and effectively controlling ran away gas and oil wells," according to a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) report on the Soviet Union's peaceful uses of nuclear explosions.

A last attempt took place in 1981, but failed perhaps because of poor positioning, according to a U.S. Department of Energy report.

Komsomoloskaya Pravda suggested that the United States might as well take a chance with a nuke, based on the historical 20-percent failure rate. Still, the Soviet experience with nuking underground gas wells could prove easier in retrospect than trying to seal the Gulf of Mexico’s oil well disaster that's taking place 5,000 feet below the surface.

Most experts don't even think a NUKE is needed! Our Navy has non-Nuke explosives that could easily do the job in less than 48 hours! No radiation, No oil, no problems. We ask the question – Why isn't anyone talking about it. Maybe now some will

PROOF! Destruction planned for private insurance interests

Frank Llewellyn

A socialist organization with close ties to Barack Obama has outlined a plan to turn the president's health-care legislation into a government-run system that will ultimately eliminate private insurance companies.

Obama's health-care bill "should create millions of new stakeholders in a health-care system governed by democratically established rules rather than by the fiats of private insurers," wrote Frank Llewellyn, national director of Democratic Socialists of America.

Writing in the latest issue of the socialist Democratic Left magazine, Llewellyn said "progressives" must use Obama's health-care legislation "to build support for the elimination of private insurers."

Verizon Wireless Said to Offer Apple iPhone in January 2011

Verizon Wireless customers: The wait for an iPhone may soon be over.

Verizon Wireless will begin selling Apple's (AAPL) iPhone early next year, opening up the wildly popular device to millions of new customers, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing two people familiar with the matter.

Such a move would end Apple's exclusive arrangement with AT&T (T), which for three years has been the sole iPhone service provider.

The development would be a clear victory for Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless carrier.

Verizon has clearly been coveting the iPhone, the hottest mobile device on the planet. Two months ago, Verizon CEO Ivan Seidenberg said the iPhone will come to Verizon "eventually" -- the most direct comment from the company to date.

In late March, The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple is working on two new iPhone models for release this summer, including one that could be compatible with Verizon Wireless's CDMA network.

Without the iPhone, Verizon has made a big push to support Google (GOOG) Android mobile operating system, which is featured on several of the company's devices.

Tom Balanoff: Obama called day before election about Jarrett appointment

Top union leader Thomas Balanoff said he was at dinner the night before the November Presidential election when he got a call that was blocked.
So he didn't take it.

Later he listened to his messages: "I walked outside, listened to it and it was from President Obama," Balanoff said.

"Tom, this is Barack, give me a call," the soon-to-be President-Elect said on the message.

After Balanoff sent word through an Obama aide to call him back, Obama returned his call later that night.

Blago Judge halts questioning on Obama

Sheldon Sorosky, one of Rod Blagojevich’s lawyers, has been trying to drag President Barack Obama into the fray this afternoon, asking union official Tom Balanoff whether the FBI asked him about campaign money going to Obama.

Prosecutors objected, as they have so often during cross-examinations, and U.S. District Judge James Zagel said Sorosky should only ask in general what the FBI had said to Balanoff.

Sorosky tried the question again, using Zagel’s recommended wording. “I know that won’t be objected to,” Sorosky said, causing the nearby Blagojevich to laugh.

GOP Sen To Obama: You Can't Talk Energy Bill Without Talking BP

In the wake of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, President Obama today summoned a bipartisan group of over 20 senators to the White House to push for energy and climate change legislation.

But one thing the President did not want to talk about at the meeting was the BP disaster, a Republican source told ABC News. And that, the source said, led to a pointed exchange with GOP senator Lamar Alexander from Tennessee.

“The priority should be fixing the oil spill,” Alexander told the President, according to the source. “That's what any meeting about energy should be about.”

Day 70 US finally accepts international assistance for Gulf spill

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The United States is accepting help from 12 countries and international organizations in dealing with the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

The State Department said in a statement Tuesday that the U.S. is working out the particulars of the help that's been accepted.

The identities of all 12 countries and international organizations were not immediately announced. One country was cited in the State Department statement -- Japan, which is providing two high-speed skimmers and fire containment boom.

More than 30 countries and international organizations have offered to help with the spill. The State Department hasn't indicated why some offers have been accepted and others have not.

Hawaii elections official victim of vicious smears

Honolulu clerk alleging cover-up: 'They have failed quite miserably'

The former Honolulu elections official who alleges Barack Obama was "definitely" not born in Hawaii and that no long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate even exists for the president in the Aloha State now says he's the victim of a vicious smear campaign, threatening his position as an instructor at Western Kentucky University.

"There have been attempts by various parties, some bloggers and others to attempt to discredit [my] claims, but none of them has held up to any scrutiny or rebuttal," Tim Adams, the former senior elections clerk in 2008 for the city and county of Honolulu, is now telling WND.

"My university was deluged with phone calls and e-mails, many of which were either supportive or neutral, but some folks took it upon themselves to actively try and smear or oust me."

The hottest book in America is the one that exposes the real Obama! Get your autographed copy only from WND!

He also says he's experienced "some minor inconveniences.""My computer, e-mails, financial records and school records have all be subjected to fishing expeditions by various authorities. Strange, I'm still here."

Tim Adams, the former senior elections clerk for Honolulu, says President Obama was "definitely" not born in Hawaii, and a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Obama does not exist in the state.

Adams, 45, a Hillary Clinton supporter who now teaches English while he works on his master's degree, burst onto the national scene in a WND story June 10 in which he asserted Obama was not born in Hawaii as the White House maintains.

"There is no birth certificate," he said. "It's like an open secret. There isn't one. Everyone in the government there knows this."

Yet Adams also believes Obama is a U.S. citizen who is eligible to be president.Since WND's original story, Adams has said he's willing to testify in court about the matter, and he appeared on an ABC television affiliate to reiterate his claims.

He also says he's been contacted by Fox News about a possible appearance.

His direct contradiction of the White House storyline that Obama was born in Hawaii has sparked detractors to attack him personally online and on the air. Adams explains: "I was, among other claims made by these 'concerned citizens,' a Nazi, a skinhead, a racist, and a host of other epithets, yet they could point to nothing in my writing or statements that would give credence to their claims; and trust me, they tried their best to find something. In doing so, they overlooked any and all evidence that might not be useful to their desires – the very thing they love to accuse conservatives of doing constantly. I have never been a part of any racialist group, nor espoused any racist doctrines, not that that matters to them."   read the rest of the story>>>>>>>>>>>

Giant oil skimmer stuck in Norfolk!! Will Obama let it go to the Gulf? VIDEO

NORFOLK - The vessel's billionaire owner, Nobu Su, the CEO of Taiwanese shipping company TMT Group, said the ship would float across the Gulf "like a lawn mower cutting the grass," ingesting up to 500,000 barrels of oil-contaminated water a day.

But a number of hurdles stand in his way. TMT officials said the company does not yet have government approval to assist in the cleanup or a contract with BP to perform the work.

That's part of the reason the ship was tied to pier at the Virginia Port Authority's Norfolk International Terminals Friday morning. TMT and its public-relations agency invited scores of media, elected officials and maritime industry executives to an hour-long presentation about how the ship could provide an immediate boost to clean-up efforts in the Gulf.  More Plus Video>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

5-4: SUPREMES AFFIRM GUN RIGHTS NATIONWIDE

By Bob Barney-The Plain Truth

By a 5-4 margin, the Supreme Court declared that the Bill of Rights are still in force - at least for now. The court was considering a handgun law in Chicago that was very similar to the DC law that it ruled against in 2008. The 5 to 4 decision does not strike any other gun control measures currently in place, but it provides a legal basis for challenges across the country where gun owners think that government has been too restrictive. Although most gun owners may be happy today, the court did NOT declare what the second amendment actually states!  The victory is hallow, but still important, in that it forestalls the continual dissolution of the people's rights to bear arms.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."   That's what it says!  The right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed! Sounds pretty simple, but the court hasn't, even in this decision, adhered the the words and meaning of the second amendment.  They still allow background checks, and other constitutionally illegal restrictions on the rights of the people to bear arms.

"It is clear that the Framers . . . counted the right to keep and bear arms among those fundamental rights necessary to our system of ordered liberty," Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. wrote for the conservatives on the court.  Ironically, Alito said government can restrict gun ownership in certain instances but did not elaborate on what those would be. That will be determined in future litigation.

Obama's Former Rev. Wright Gives Seminar Bashing Whites and Jews, Media Mum

President Obama's former spiritual advisor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, gave a seminar at the University of Chicago last week in which he made numerous anti-Semitic remarks while once again attacking white people.According to the New York Post, during the five-day course that cost up to $1,000, Wright claimed "whites and Jews are controlling the flow of worldwide information and oppressing blacks in Israel and America.""

White folk done took this country," Wright said. "You're in their home, and they're gonna let you know it."

Despite the astonishingly racist comments during this week-long event, as well as his former connection to the current President of the United States, not one media outlet besides the Post reported what transpired at the Chicago Theological Seminary on the university campus. Not one!

Custer's Last Flag Could Fetch $5 Million

It was 134 years ago today, June 25, that George Armstrong Custer and his 7th Cavalry fought and were overwhelmed by Lakota Sioux and Northern Cheyenne at Little Big Horn River. There were no survivors among those who fought under Custer's direct command and very few artifacts remained on the field. But one relic, a cavalry guidon, or swallow-tail flag, was hidden under the body of a dead trooper and discovered three days after the battle by Sergeant Ferdinand Culbertson, who was assigned to a burial party.

Sothebys

New York will sell this flag in October in a sale titled: October 2010: Custer's Last Flag: The Culbertson Guidon from The Battle of the Little Bighorn.

Since 1895, the delicate silk flag has been preserved at the Detroit Institute of Arts. It had been given by Culbertson to Charles and Rose Fowler of Detroit in approximately 1880 and was purchased from Rose Fowler Reidel by a public contribution in 1895. The flag carries an estimate of $2 to 5 million and proceeds from the auction will be used by the museum for future art purchases. The guidon will be unveiled to the public in September.

"This immortal battle flag represents the spirit, the bravery and the tragedy of one of the most dramatic moments in American history," commented David Redden, Vice Chairman of Sotheby's. "Battle-worn and bullet-torn, the Culbertson Guidon conjures the ferocity of that terrible battle."

"The Detroit Institute of Arts has been a steward of this flag for more than 115 years," said Graham W. J. Beal, DIA director. "In 1895, the flag fit in with the wide range of artifacts collected and displayed at that time. It remains, without doubt, an important historical treasure, but has long since ceased to meet current criteria as a work of art. It makes sense for us to sell it for the benefit of the collection." According to an article in the Detroit News, the museum has not revealed any information on what objects might be bought instead. The flag itself will hopefully find a home in another museum's collection.

Five things we learned about Danica at New Hampshire

Is this sports, or humor???

The Danica Patrick show came to New Hampshire this weekend, attempting a NASCAR breakthrough after going 35th, 31st, and 36th in her first three attempts. Racing's Most Popular female has taken plenty of lumps in her first turns behind the wheel of a stock car, making today's goal a simple one: stay out of trouble. Just keeping the car in one piece over 200 laps would have been a huge rookie accomplishment.

Too bad that proved Mission: Impossible within the first five minutes. A wreck just seven laps in left her limping home again, running 30th, five laps down after another difficult day. Just how steep is the learning curve ahead, and is there any silver lining to take away a year filled with futility? Here's a look at five things we can salvage from Danica's disastrous dip into the world of stock car racing:

1) God was not on Danica's side Saturday; he was busy hitting her driver's side door.

New Jersey Town Considering a Topless Beach

And just think, Tammy and I use to swim here! Sure wasn't topless then!

Asbury Park, N.J. (AP) - Once among the top seaside resorts on the East Coast, Asbury Park is keeping abreast of vacationers' changing tastes: It is considering letting women go topless on a city beach.

But unlike other secluded nude beaches in the Garden State, this one could be right in your face, with the boardwalk offering a prime view that some parents might not want junior to see.

The city council is considering a request from Reggie Flimlin, an Asbury Park woman who owns a yoga studio, to allow women to decide for themselves whether they want to wear bikini tops on the beach. She says it's already happening on less populated beaches in the city's north end.

"A lot of women are just organically deciding they want to sunbathe without their top," she said. "That's great, that's fine, and I have no problem with it."

Sister Site's RaceRap.Com Nascar Truck in Winning Form-Wins Again! UPDATED

Markjohnson

Mark Johnson, driver of the RaceRap sponsored Race Truck continues winning ways at TRI-COUNTY

Many of our Plain Truth readers have found this site, from our much older (and successful) sister site called RaceRap.com the largest local oriented racing website in the world as well as the 9th largest NASCAR ranking racing website.  RaceRap's stats are very impressive, with over 150,000 per month UNIQUE viewers hitting the site some 8 million times a month.  Much of The Plain Truth's early success came from our banners and links from RaceRap, which is celebrating its 11th year anniversary this Month. RaceRap originally started as a Langley Speedway oriented discussion board, but rapidly grew into a giant local racing oriented news and information destination for thousands.  Literally, the only place in the world to know who won almost INSTANTLY at dozens of NASCAR and non NASCAR tracks can only be found on RaceRap's LIVE UPDATES, where reporters cover lap by lap racing action on Friday and Saturday nights.

In the past few years, RaceRap has expanded from its southeast roots, to cover local racing action in the northeast, as well as the mid-Atlantic regions.

RaceRap for years was owned by Tamco Paint, our family owned automotive paint company. Tamco manufactures automotive, fleet and OEM finishes sold in the Americas as well as six nations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.  Tamco developed the revolutionary "paint pen," that can be seen on many infomercials around the world. The pen allows inexperienced car owners to actually remove scratches from their car or boat's painted surfaces. The revolutionary product fills the scratch with an special polymer resin, which matches the factory paint perfectly and sells for a fraction of the cost of going to a body shop. To date, about a million pens a month are being sold worldwide, with about 13 million being used by car owners.

Many of Tamco's products can be found on EBAY , as well as on their own webstore.

Mark Johnson racing, competes at the various NASCAR WEEKLY racing tracks in North Carolina, including the very famous,HICKORY MOTOR SPEEDWAY-- a track that some of the most famous NASCAR drivers in history started their careers including Dale Earnhardt Sr.  Hickory Speedway has been prominent in many racing movies as well. After this story was posted Friday, Mark returned to Tri County Speedway and won again! This time, however, NASCAR made him pull his heads to make sure that his truck was legal. It was, and $300.00 poorer, Johnson took the win and the $500.00 prize winnings home.  "We had a really good race," said Johnson in an interview with us yesterday, "I worked hard for this win!"

When asked about his thoughts on the tear down, Mark replied, "they have to make sure you aren't cheating, but I couldn't figure out why they did this last night when we barely won! They just cost me a bunch of money. But I accept that."

Firing a General? It's been done before, by another lousy president!

"In war there is no substitute for victory." "You are remembered for the rules you break."

By BOB BARNEY- The Plain Truth

The words are that of General Douglas MacArthur, the American Caesar. When World War II broke out, the nation turned to this leader when it appeared that Japanese were going to take over the entire Pacific, including Hawaii and maybe even the Islands of Alaska.  MacArthur, having no troops, no military support, and literally no backing from his president, because the truth was that FDR was more worried about Europe than he was about the war in the Pacific.  Although MacArthur was forced to fight much of the war with very little help, he did not publicly condemn Pres. Roosevelt for being more concerned with the European battlefront then he was the Pacific battlefront.  Instead, MacArthur is today known mainly by his actions in the Korean conflict under Pres. Truman.  If MacArthur disagreed with the strategy of Franklin Roosevelt, it didn’t really show. He didn't in any way think that Franklin Roosevelt was trying to lose the war as he did concerning the Truman policies in Korea.  When the Korean conflict rolled around, McArthur was faced with a president who no longer was willing to fight a war, but what he called a “ police action.”

MacArthur was forced to accept rules of engagement that until now seemed almost stupid beyond belief.  The following quote from the general sums it up best concerning the orders from Washington that he was expected to obey. " I asked for the bridges across the Yaloo to be bombed, my request was denied, I asked for permission to pursue the enemy into their sanctuaries, that request was denied. I requested that we be allowed to bomb the war supporting factories in China, that request was denied! Do you know what they told me? The told me that.."You may bomb the Southern half of the bridge only! In all military history, no commander has ever received such an imbecilic order! In all my years of military experiance I have never been taught how to bomb half a bridge! This isn't war, it's half war! It is an immoral compromise with evil! The longer we continue this half hearted struggle, the more men we'll lose!"

Those few words from Mac Arthur should ring in our ears today. Our soldiers fighting wars in the far distant lands such as Afghanistan and Iraq, have been given orders which are truly a compromise with evil--- as we continue fighting half wars!  It is the evil leadership from Washington that has caused so many of our brave soldiers to die needlessly on battlefields of Korea, Vietnam, and now in the Middle East.

Now we have another general being relieved of command, by another president,  who seems to be more worried about the welfare of our enemies than the welfare of our soldiers. Again, MacArthur was so right when he said these words about military leaders given their allegiance to political presidents, that care nothing for this country, but only for their own personal gain. "That is a dangerous concept, that men of the armed forces owe their primary duty to these temporary occupants of the White House insted of the Country and the Constitution we are sworn to defend!" (Mac Arthur).

I know most think that civilian control over our military, which is the constitutional function of the presidency should include that generals and military leaders must agree with political policies instead of military strategies.  In my personal estimation, it is better for a general to stand up against these temporary occupants of the White House and not resign, but be fired. I would much rather be fired, then quit and leave my soldiers behind whose welfare and safety I was entrusted to protect. "One cannot wage war under present conditions without the support of public opinion, which is tremendously molded by the press and other forms of propaganda," MacArthur said after his firing, “But once war is forced upon us, there is no other alternative than to apply every available means to bring it to a swift end. War's very object is victory, not prolonged indecision. In war there can be no substitute for victory.”

He went on to say, “Men since the beginning of time have sought peace. …..The utter destructiveness of war now blocks out, this alternative. We have had our last chance. If we will not devise some greater and more equitable system, Armageddon will be at our door.”

My friends, Armageddon is at our door, and we better wake up and understand that the decisions being made now by this nation will have worldwide consequences upon all the nations of the world. MacArthur called this policy “appeasement,” and he said that appeasement begets more appeasement,  and as in blackmail-- violence becomes the only answer. The violence that I am talking about is WWIII, a war, when it comes will annihilate up to half of this world's population, as well as bring about the great tribulation, the antichrist, and the return of Christ.

The problem basically is theological and involves a spiritual recrudescence and improvement of human character that will synchronize with our almost matchless advances in science, art, literature and all the material and cultural developments of the past 2000 years. It must be of the spirit if we are to save the flesh.... These are not my words, but General Mac Arthur's!

Here are a few more:

This does not mean that you are war mongers. On the contrary, the soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war. But always in our minds ring the ominous words of Plato: "Only the dead have seen the end of war."

It is part of the general pattern of misguided policy that our country is now geared to an arms economy which was bred in an artificially induced psychosis of war hysteria and nurtured upon an incessant propaganda of fear. While such an economy may produce a sense of seeming prosperity for the moment, it rests on an illusionary foundation of complete unreliability and renders among our political leaders almost a greater fear of peace than is their fear of war.

Speech of 1951, as quoted in The Twenty-year Revolution from Roosevelt to Eisenhower (1954) by Chesly Manly, p. 3, and Total Insecurity : The Myth Of American Omnipotence (2004) by Carol Brightman, p. 182

Our government has kept us in a perpetual state of fear -- kept us in a continuous stampede of patriotic fervor -- with the cry of grave national emergency. Always there has been some terrible evil at home or some monstrous foreign power that was going to gobble us up if we did not blindly rally behind it by furnishing the exorbitant funds demanded. Yet, in retrospect, these disasters seem never to have happened, seem never to have been quite real.

A legal brief filed in a federal court dispute over the purchase and use of raw milk contends the court ultimately will determine "whether the people control the government, or whether the government controls the people."

"The decision of this court will either ensure that people have fundamental rights endowed to them by their Creator, or that the people have no rights except those that are conferred upon them by government," attorneys for the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund have argued in their newest brief, which opposes the government's demand that the case be dismissed.

"Our research shows that this nation has a long history of consuming raw dairy products and that FDA's prohibition against taking raw dairy for human consumption across state lines runs counter to that national history," said fund President Pete Kennedy.

The brief argues, contrary to allegations by the FDA, everyone has the right to travel across state lines with raw dairy products in their possession, everyone has the right to consume the foods of their choice, that parents have the right to feed their children the foods of their choice, and that all have the right to be responsible for their own health.
