Fox News fires Bob Beckel

Fox News has fired one of their hosts and issued a scathing statement announcing the news.   Bob Beckel, the former Democratic consultant who appeared on the network's popular show The Five, has been let go from his job.  The news comes just two months after Fox announced the Beckel was battling an addiction to prescription pills.   Beckel is not the first person at the network to struggle with addiction, with Gregg Jarrett taking a six-month hiatus last year after an incident at a Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport bar.

Alies himself may be a target of the Murdoch kids, who are taking control of FOX from their father, and are very liberal and anti-Fox News.

'We tried to work with Bob for months, but we couldn’t hold The Five hostage to one man’s personal issues,' Bill Shine, executive vice president of programming, said in a statement obtained by Politico.

'He took tremendous advantage of our generosity, empathy and goodwill and we simply came to the end of the road with him.'

Fox News personalities Juan Williams and Geraldo Rivera will be among those filling in for Beckel in his absence added Shine.
