What exactly is the Mark of the Beast? And does this mark have anything to do with the Name of the Beast & the number 666? Or, is the Mark of the Beast something totally different & separate from the Name of the Beast and the number 666? And what exactly is the Name of the Beast anyway? Is it an individual, a nation or group of nations, or a church? And what about this mark—is it a literal, physical mark? Or does it instead have a figurative, symbolic meaning?

Let’s start off in our quest to answer these questions by first turning to Revelation 13:16-17.  “He required everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name” (NLT).

Besides what is stated in Revelation 13:16-17 there are six other Scriptures that discuss the Mark of the Beast and ALL six of these Scriptures use the words mark & name interchangeably! In other words they are synonymous with each other! They mean exactly the same! Having the Mark of the Beast on you is the same as having the Name of the Beast on you (or the number that represents his name—666).

NUMBER OF THE BEAST

Revelation 13:18— “…the numerical values of the letters in his name add to 666” (LB).

666 is just the numerical sum value of the Name of the Beast! 

For example, take the name “Vix.”

Using Roman Numerals: V = 5 I = 1 X = 10 

Then if we add up the numerical value of each letter of his name we get 16. Therefore, Vix couldn’t possibly be the Beast because his name only adds up to 16, while the name of the beast will add up to 666. 

Holy Roman Empire or LEADER of the Holy Roman Empire?

So what is this Beast? Does it represent the “Holy” Roman Empire as some teach OR does it represent the end-time LEADER of this revived system?

The Beast is symbolic of BOTH! Both the empire and its leader! But first and foremost it stands for its LEADER. To prove that it stands for the end-time political leader of this soon-coming system let’s turn to:

Revelation 19:20—Then the BEAST was captured, and with him the false prophet…. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone” (NKJ).

This Scripture clearly shows that the beast represents an end-time individual, for both he and the false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire! 

Literal, Physical Mark OR Figurative, Symbolic Meaning?

But what exactly is the Mark of the Beast, the mark of this end-time political leader? Will it be a physical, literal mark OR is this mark just a metaphor, having some kind of hidden, mystical meaning?

The mark of the beast will definitely be a literal physical mark! In Revelation 13:16-17 the Jerusalem Bible (as well as the New English Bible) both state that the mark of the beast will be “branded” on human beings, while the Living Bible declares that the mark of the beast will be “tattooed” on humans—clearly showing that the mark will be a literal physical mark that others will easily be able to see!

Receiving Mark = Outward Acceptance of Satan & His System

If you read the book of Revelation very carefully (especially chapter 14) you will see that anyone who WILLINGLY receives the mark of the beast will be punished by God. 

God most certainly will NOT punish someone who has this mark PHYSICALLY FORCED upon them, nor will He punish someone who UNKNOWINGLY receives this mark (as some conspiracy theorists teach)! The person has to knowingly, willingly accept the mark.

Anyone who willingly and knowingly allows the mark of the beast to be placed on his or her body (either on their right hand or on their forehead) will be going directly against God! They will be obeying Satan instead. They will in essence be pledging their allegiance and their loyalty to Satan the devil! And those who do so will be severely punished by God! And they will be without excuse. For not only will there be two witnesses (or prophets) who tell them not to worship the beast or receive his mark, but an angel from heaven will also command the inhabitants of the world not to do so (Revelation 14:9)! 

WHO is the Beast?

So, WHO is this Beast? Who will this end-time political leader be? Whoever he is, one thing we know for sure, the letters of his name will add up to 666! But can anyone think of a better name than ROMAN?

First of all, “Roman” in the Greek language (“Lateinos”) does indeed add up to 666! 

Secondly, if his name were “Roman,” it would be similar to the false trinity doctrine. It would represent three things in one. Not only would it be the name of this end-time political leader but it also would represent the Roman Empire as well as the Roman (Catholic) Church.

"We are in the presence of a lot of Moseses," Barack Obama said on March 4, 2007, three weeks after announcing his candidacy for President. He was speaking in Selma, Ala., surrounded by civil rights pioneers. Obama cast his run for the White House as a fulfillment of the Moses tradition of leading people out of bondage into freedom. "I thank the Moses generation, but we've got to remember that Joshua still had a job to do. As great as Moses was ... he didn't cross over the river to see the promised land."

Eight months into his presidency, Obama might want to give Moses a second look. On issues from health care to Afghanistan, the President faces doubts and rebellions, from an entrenched pharaonic establishment on one hand and restless, stiff-necked followers on the other. There's good reason, then, for Obama to heed the leadership lessons of history's greatest leader. Like presidential predecessors from Washington to Reagan, Obama can use the Moses story to help guide Americans in troubled times. From the Pilgrims to the Founding Fathers, the Civil War to the civil rights movement, Americans have turned to Moses in periods of crisis because his narrative offers a road map of peril and promise. Plight of the Pilgrims
The Moses story opens in the 13th century B.C.E. with the Israelites enslaved in Egypt. After the pharaoh orders the slaughter of all Israelite male babies, Moses is floated down the Nile, picked up by the pharaoh's daughter and raised in the palace. An adult Moses murders an Egyptian for beating "one of his kinsmen," then flees to the desert, where, later, a voice in a burning bush recruits him to free the Israelites. This moment represents Moses' first leadership test: Will he cling to his unburdened life or attempt to free a people enslaved for centuries?

The plight of the Israelites resonated with the earliest American settlers. For centuries, the Catholic Church had banned the direct reading of Scripture. But the Protestant Reformation, combined with the printing press, brought vernacular Bibles to everyday readers. What Protestants discovered was a narrative that reminded them of their sense of subjugation by the church and appealed to their dreams of a Utopian New World. The Pilgrims stressed this aspect of Moses. When the band of Protestant breakaways left England in 1620, they described themselves as the chosen people fleeing their pharaoh, King James. On the Atlantic, they proclaimed their journey to be as vital as "Moses and the Israelites when they went out of Egypt." And when they got to Cape Cod, they thanked God for letting them pass through their fiery Red Sea. (See 10 surprising facts about the world's oldest Bible.)

By the time of the Revolution, the theme of beleaguered people standing up to a superpower had become the go-to narrative of American identity. The two best-selling books of 1776 featured Moses. Thomas Paine, in Common Sense, called King George the "hardened, sullen tempered pharaoh." Samuel Sherwood, in The Church's Flight into the Wilderness, said God would deliver the colonies from Egyptian bondage. The Moses image was so pervasive that on July 4, after signing the Declaration of Independence, the Congress asked Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and John Adams to propose a seal for the United States. Their recommendation: Moses, leading the Israelites through the Red Sea as the water overwhelms the pharaoh. In their eyes, Moses was America's true Founding Father.

But escaping bondage proved to be only half the story. After the Israelites arrive in the desert, they face a period of lawlessness, which prompts the Ten Commandments. Only by rallying around the new order can the people become a nation. Freedom depends on law.

Ailes, 76 — who built Fox News into an influential, $3 billion business — is reportedly being shunted aside in the wake of a sexual harassment suit filed against him by former anchor Gretchen Carlson.

Ailes has strongly denied the accusation.

And while most FNC female staffers lined up to support Ailes, one did not: Megyn Kelly.

Kelly, a prime-time anchor, has remained publicly silent on the matter. On Tuesday, however, New York magazine reported that she told Fox lawyers conducting an internal probe that Ailes had sexually harassed her, too, in the mid-2000s, when she was a Washington correspondent. It was not clear what kind of harassment she alleged.

After the article emerged, several news outlets reported that negotiations on Ailes’ exit were under way. Late Tuesday, his lawyer, Susan Estrich, confirmed that the discussions were in the advanced stages, according to the New York Times.

She told CNN, “There’s lots of cross talk, but no agreement has been reached.”

Why did Donald Trump choose Mike Pence, a conservative RINO who has often been at odds with Trump over Muslims, immigration and even common core!  To me the answer seems very simple, and a brief look at history may explain the reason even more. At the outset I will say that Donald Trump was "had" by the Republican leaders and maybe his kids.  The Pence nom may become the worse "deal" Trump has ever made.

Now a history lesson.  When Richard Nixon won re-election in 1972, most people do not realize that he won by the largest majority of electoral votes in modern history - only Reagan in 1984 had more. Nixon was very well liked and had higher approval numbers when leaving the White than did either Bush and probably Obama.  Spiro Agnew, his VEEP was as outspoken in his day as a Newt Gingrich, or even Donald Trump.  Although the voters liked Nixon, the world order RINOs and DINO's (Democrats) wanted him out.  Watergate was just a conspiracy plot to impeach Nixon or force him to resign.  However, Agnew as president scared the elites more, so they trumped out criminal charges against him (far less than anything the Clinton's have ever done) and forced him to resign. Nixon then was pressured to naming Ford as his new VEEP.   Problem: Ford is a major world-order RINO who sat on the bogus Warren Commission!  When Nixon named Ford, he sealed his fate!

Ronald Reagan also chose a RINO globalist named Bush!  He did not want him, but was talked into the stupid notion of party unity. So by picking Bush, Reagan put his largest critic and the man who would undue every that Reagan did in power!  Republicans tried to impeach Reagan too!  It was called Iran Contra!  Google George Bush, Clinton, Mena airport and Cocaine... use every tag I just used and read the surprising results.....

In Mike Pence, Trump has put his Ford, or Bush next to him.  I expect within 2 years, and long before the re-election year of 2020, Trump will be impeached and removed from office, and his "choice" Mike Pence will become the new president.  That's if Trump is elected.  Everyone involved is still pulling for Hillary, but they need every possible outcome "covered."

A US-based Turkish cleric accused of plotting a coup to overthrow the Ankara government has claimed President Recep Erdogan staged the rebellion himself to justify a major clampdown on opposition forces. 

Fethullah Gulen, who was a former key ally of Erdogan has been blamed by the politician of using his contacts to develop a 'parallel structure' to overthrow the state. 

Erdogan has called on US President Barack Obama to extradite Gulen, who is based in Pennsylvania.

Turkey has a continuous identity crisis. It encompasses a land bridge that connects Europe with the Middle East, and its inhabitants have always been torn between identifying with its eastern Muslim neighbors and western trading partners.

Until recently, this predominantly Muslim nation leaned west. It allied with Israel; it joined nato; it sought membership in the European Union; it became an important partner of the United States in the then-called war on terror.

Now, though, that has all changed. Since 2002, when the Justice and Development Party (akp) came to power under Islamist Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, this once secular republic has turned to its Islamic roots.

When Erdoğan was elected to a third term by a landslide in June, Barry Rubin, director of the Global Research in International Affairs Center, said that the nation’s future is certain: “[N]ow Turkey is set on a path that is ending the republic established by Kemal Ataturk in the 1920s. The Turkey of secularism and Western orientation is finished. … In short, the akp is entrenched in power, and can now proceed with the fundamental transformation of Turkey” (Jerusalem Post, June 13).

Is Rubin correct? Is Turkey ready to abandon its connection to Europe and its friendship with the U.S. to cozy up to its Muslim neighbors?

Turkey, the core of a great empire that once ruled the biblical Promised Land for 400 years, is a regional power that profoundly affects Israel. Therefore the Bible, a book that prominently features Israel and its relations with major nations, must not be silent about Turkey. In fact, the Bible has many thunderous prophecies about Turkey, and the only way to understand them is by knowing where this nation is identified in those prophecies.

So who is Turkey in biblical prophecy? For the answer, we must look at its ancient and modern history.

Turkey will be a key Player in the upcoming event called the “Great Tribulation.” What will Turkey do to the modern Descendants of Israel? How will God judge Turkey? 

The Turks are a partner in NATO. They have a political relationship with the Israelis. The Bible says that these current conditions will end, and Turkey will soon become an enemy of both the USA and the Jews.

So where is Turkey in the Bible? Can Turkey be traced back to the Edomites of the Bible? In the Book of Genesis, Isaac and Rebekah had twin sons, one Jacob and one Esau. She asked God what was going on inside her during the time of her pregnancy, and God said, “And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD. “And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.” (Gen 25:22-23).

Esau, when he came out was “Red” like a garment (25:25), therefore inherited the name Edom (25:30). When it came time for the birthright to be handed down, Jacob’s mother Rebekah made sure Jacob received it instead of Esau, see Gen 27. When Esau came after the blessing was given, Esau begged for a blessing as well. Isaac then prophesied, “...Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above; “And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck”(Gen 27:39-40).

These prophecies were to take place in the end time. Genesis 48 and 49 shows the birthright blessings were to take place in the “latter days.”

So there is no reason why this prophecy of Esau shouldn’t take place during the same time.Esau’s blessing is explained, “At length, in reply to the weeping suppliant, he bestows upon him a characteristic blessing.

‘Away from the fatness.’The preposition (ימm y) is the same as in the blessing of Jacob. But there, after a verb of giving, it had a partitive sense; here, after a noun of place, it denotes distance or separation;for example, Prov 20:3 The pastoral life has been distasteful to Esau, and so it shall be with his race. The land of Edom was accordingly a comparative wilderness (Mal 1:3). ‘On thy sword.’ By preying upon others.”(Barnes Notes,emphasis added). Esau will be separated from the blessings of Jacob;instead they would be a warrior people, and not a people to be fruitful whatsoever. The rest of this prophecy will be explained later in the article.

Esau married into the Hittite race, “And Esau was forty years old when he took to wife Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Bashemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite:”(Gen 26:34) . The Hittites were a Mongolian race of Kittim mixing with the sons of Heth of Canaan. “The Hittites as shown both on their own and on Egyptian monuments were clearly Mongoloid in type. They were short and stout, prognathous, and had rather receding foreheads. The cheek bones were high, the nose was large and straight, forming almost a line with the forehead, and the upper lip protruded. They were yellow in color, with black hair and eyes, and beardless, while according to the Egyptian paintings they wore their hair in pigtails, although this characteristic does not appear in the Hittite sculptures. They would seem to have come, therefore, from the northeast of Mesopotamia, and to have worked south into Palestine and west into Asia Minor” (Jewish Encyclopedia under “Hittites”). Defiant Turkish civilians reclaimed the country from their own military after helping to end a coup by the army to overthrow President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who called on people to remain on the streets today over fears over a fresh uprising.

Ordinary Turks confronted rifle-wielding soldiers, climbed atop tanks and laid in front of military vehicles in an effort to take back control of the country, ignoring a curfew issued by coup plotters designed to allow the army to bring down the government unopposed.

President Erdogan called on people to take to the streets, leading to reports of groups of soldiers surrendering at several key locations in Ankara and Istanbul, including Bosphorus Bridge, where 100 rebels laid down their arms and submitted themselves to advancing civilians and police officers.

This morning the President used Twitter to call on supporters to prevent any additional military action, adding: 'We should keep on owning the streets no matter at what stage because a new flare-up could take place at any moment.'

Some 104 plotters were killed after a coup attempt to bring down the Turkish government, while 160 people - at least 41 of them police and 47 civilians - fell as 'martyrs'.

Throughout the night, supporters of Erdogan threw themselves in front of tanks at key landmarks to prevent the military from maintaining a stranglehold on the country, notably outside Ataturk airport in Istanbul, where some civilians lodged themselves under the wheels of tanks to stop them from advancing.

More than 2,800 rebels have been detained after their failed military coup that killed at least 250 and wounded more than 1,500, with Erdogan vowing revenge for the bloody uprising.

Megyn Kelly proved that!  These faces on Fox are mostly high paid strippers delivering the news. The popular host of The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson alleges that she was let go on June 23 after 11 years with the network for refusing to sleep with Ailes. Carlson, 50, writes in her court filing about a conversation she had with Ailes last September in which he allegedly said to her: 'I think you and I should have had a sexual relationship a long time ago and then you'd be good and better and I'd be good and better.' The conversation allegedly came when Carlson went to speak with Ailes, 75, about what she believed were discriminatory practices at the network. Carlson also claims in her complaint that Ailes called her a 'man hater' and accused her of wanting to 'show up the boys' when she complained about what she alleges was diminishing treatment and 'pervasive sexual harassment' by co-host Steve Doocy (center). That is why she was fired from the marquee show in 2013 and placed as the host of her own afternoon show, claims Carlson in her complaint.
