“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard… the ANTICHRIST is coming… the man of sin… the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped… He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God” (1 John 2:18 NKJ), (2 Thess. 2:3–4 NKJ), (2 Thess. 2:4 NLT). 

“Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven…. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life…” (Rev. 13:6–8 NKJ). 

“And he required everyone — great and small, rich and poor, slave and free — to be tattooed with a certain mark on the right hand or on the forehead…. And no one could buy or sell anything without that mark, which was either the name of the beast or the number representing his name…. And …his number is 666” (Rev. 13:16 LB), (Rev. 13:17 NLT) (Rev. 13:18 NKJ).  

The Bible clearly points out that in the end-time a Beast (i.e. the Antichrist) will rise to unprecedented power and influence in the world; so much so that the whole world will worship him! But the Bible sternly warns us not to do so! “If anyone worships the beast (i.e. the Antichrist) and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand… he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb (i.e. Jesus Christ). And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever, and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name” (Rev. 14:9–11).
