An attack on US electronics by North Korea could kill 90 per cent of the population by crippling the nation’s infrastructure, an expert has claimed. A spine-chilling report said Washington is underestimating the threat of an ‘electromagnetic pulse’ (EMP), a phenomenon that could be caused by detonating a nuclear bomb high above the Earth.

Such an attack would see the release of a burst of energy that would interfere with and destroy all electronics – and North Korea has claimed it has built a warhead for this very purpose.

Despite deep scepticisim from scientists and security experts, nuclear strategist Peter Pry, who previously worked for the CIA, outlined his theories in testimony to Congress. And in an interview with Forbes magazine, he expanded on his vision of how America would fare in such an attack.

He said: ‘The US can sustain a population of 320million people only because of modern technology. An EMP that blacks out the electric grid for a year would [destroy] the critical infrastructure necessary to support such a large population.’

Airliners – of which there are 5,000 flying over the US at any one time, carrying 500,000 passengers – would crash as their electrical systems were destroyed, killing most on board, he said.

High winds and treacherous tides along North America’s coast prevented the Pilgrims from sailing south to join Virginia’s settlement at Jamestown, founded 14 years earlier. Having to disembark in Massachusetts, there was no government to submit to, so the Pilgrims created their own – the Mayflower Compact. It was the first “constitution” written in America.

The Mayflower Compact began: “In ye name of God, Amen. We whose names are underwritten, the loyall subjects of our dread soveraigne Lord, King James … having undertaken, for ye glorie of God, and advancemente of ye Christian faith, and honour of our king & countrie, a voyage to plant ye first colonie in ye Northerne parts of Virginia … in ye presence of God, and one of another, covenant & combine our selves togeather into a civill body politick … to enacte … just & equall lawes … as shall be thought most meete & convenient for ye generall good of ye Colonie, unto which we promise all due submission and obedience.”

The Mayflower Compact ended: “In witnes wherof we have hereunder subscribed our names at Cap-Codd ye 11 of November, Ano:Dom. 1620.”

More than 30 newly discovered 2,200-year-old skeletons could finally help to reveal who wrote the ancient Dead Sea Scrolls.  Remains found near the site where the scrolls were discovered suggest the bodies were linked to an celibate Jewish brotherhood known as the Essenes.

The Dead Sea Scrolls have fascinated scholars and historians since the ancient texts were found around 70 years ago scattered within a series of caves in the West Bank.  Thought to have been written between 200 BC and 100 AD, the scrolls inscribe some of the oldest known foundations of the Old Testament.  Despite experts citing the texts as among the biggest archaeological finds of the 20th Century, their origins and authorship have remained a mystery for decades.

Ever since their discovery, a number of suggestions have been put forward as to who created or oversaw the texts, including soldiers, craftsmen, people from the Iron Age, or Bedouins.

Now an analysis of remains found in 33 newly uncovered graves could help experts to understand the mysterious texts' history.  Analyses of the bones support a previous theory that the scrolls were written or guarded by members of a celibate, all-male Jewish sect called the Essenes.    The mysterious group flourished in Palestine from the 2nd century BC to the end of the 1st century AD.

Like the scrolls themselves, the graves were found in Qumran, an archaeological region in the West Bank along the northwestern shore of the Dead Sea.  Anthropologists from the Israel Antiquities Authority in Jerusalem radiocarbon dated the bones, revealing they are about 2,200 years old, around the same age as the scrolls.

But it was not just the age of the bones that linked them to the ancient texts.  All but three of the 33 skeletons were identified as probably male, based on factors such as body size and pelvic shape.

There’s only one mention of Bill Clinton in Tom Cruise ’s new movie, “American Made,” which is about a Washington-sponsored operation in the early 1980s to send guns to rebel forces in Nicaragua from an airfield in Mena, Ark.

That operation didn’t go quite as planned for a number of reasons, including the fact that Cruise’s character, the real-life and long-dead Barry Seal, was enlisted by the Medellín drug cartel to bring cocaine to the US.

Rather than fly his planes empty on the return trip — and probably get killed for refusing the cartel’s request — Seal agreed. And the former TWA pilot made a lot of money in the process, leading to a one-man economic boom for Clinton’s Arkansas.

I happen to know a fair bit about the Mena operation because I was investigating Bill and Hillary Clinton’s financial dealings in the late 1990s, and that mysterious airfield repeatedly came up.

And as a result, I acquired copies of a whole lot of Seal’s documents, including phone records, legal documents and notes scribbled on napkins and bits of hotel stationery.

Toward the end of the movie, Seal (Cruise) has been picked up by Arkansas investigators and is about to be charged when then-State Attorney General Joe Svoboda is interrupted by a phone call.

Gov. Clinton is on the line.

“He says it’s urgent,” the AG’s receptionist says. Svoboda picks up the phone and says: “What you need, Bill?”

Seal has already taunted the investigators by saying that he was going to walk out a free man. Then, Svoboda says, “He’s free to go.”

The implication, although not stated in the movie, is that Seal was released at the request of someone in Washington — probably someone in the Reagan White House, whose CIA was deeply involved in the gun-running operation that later became known as the Iran-Contra Affair.   MORE

What is our civil rights issue, and who are today’s successors to the Freedom Riders of the ’60s? Millionaire NFL players “taking a knee” during the national anthem to dishonor the flag of their country to protest racist cops.

And what was the great cultural issue of summer and fall?

There’s a rock n roll song written by Bob Dylan titled “the mighty Quinn.” I’m not sure if there are supposed to be any hidden religious meanings behind the words to this song, but there is a line, “But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here, all the pigeons are going to run to him.” Now, some make the claim that it’s nothing more than a drug song and the pigeons are the users-the junkies. It might be the case. However, the line has always meant something far different to me, and probably to me alone. Here goes my little story of liberals, do-gooders, religious phonies, the greedy and God Almighty Himself. I will use verses from the song several times and I hope you see the point of this little fairy tale of Quinn the Eskimo. You may never hear this song in the same way again.

Last week, Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings released “Trouble No More – The Bootleg Series Vol. 13 / 1979-1981.” This latest volume in the Bob Dylan “Bootleg Series” focuses on a three-year period known as “the gospel years,” when Dylan churned out three albums of Christian-themed songs.

This nine-disc box set showcases the legendary folk singer as a man of faith and deep spirituality. And although many people believe Dylan left Christianity behind when he started recording secular music again, one author who has thoroughly researched Dylan’s life and career begs to differ. In fact, he thinks the release of this new box set is evidence Dylan remains a Christian to this day.

“Obviously this is something that Dylan is aware of and approved, because it’s an official release,” Scott Marshall said during a recent interview on Frontpage Radio.

Indeed, Dylan’s official website has been heavily promoting the new release.

In his book “Bob Dylan: A Spiritual Life,” Marshall fully explores Dylan’s spiritual odyssey, from his Jewish roots through his embrace of Christianity through the present day. He argues Dylan never renounced his faith in Jesus, despite what some public sources have said.

Part One: The Past

Judah Exiled to Babylon

It is 602 BC and Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon conquers the Kingdom of Judah. The people of JUDAH are then deported as SLAVES to Babylon — just as God had foretold (2 Kings 24:8-17).

Daniel & His 3 Friends

Among the many Jews taken to Babylon is a young man named Daniel and his three friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. These four young men are very talented — therefore they are selected to serve in the king’s palace (Daniel 1:1-6).

“God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for learning the literature and science of the time. And God gave Daniel special ability in understanding the meanings of visions and dreams. When the three-year training period ordered by the king was completed, the chief official brought all the young men to King Nebuchadnezzar. The king talked with each of them, and none of them impressed him as much as Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. So, they were appointed to his regular staff of ADVISERS. In all matters requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, the king found the advice of these young men to be ten times better than that of all the magicians and enchanters in his entire kingdom” (Daniel 1:17-20; NLT).

 Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream of a Great Statue

During this time king Nebuchadnezzar has a dream, and he wants the wise men of Babylon to interpret the dream for him. But he also wants them to tell him what he has dreamed! And if they aren’t able to do so, he declares that every single one of them will die!

Fortunately, God reveals the dream and its meaning to Daniel. Daniel then explains the dream and its meaning to Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel tells the king that in his dream he saw an ENORMOUS STATUE: the head of the statue was made of gold, its chest & arms of silver, its belly & thighs of bronze, its lower legs of iron and its feet partly of iron & partly of clay. Then a rock struck the statue on its FEET, which caused the whole statue to crumble. A huge wind then came and swept the pieces away without leaving a trace. The rock then became a huge mountain and filled the entire earth (Daniel 2:1-35).

Daniel Interprets the Dream

Daniel then interprets the dream for Nebuchadnezzar. He tells the king that the head of gold represents him (and his Babylonian Empire); the CHEST & ARMS OF SILVER represent the next empire that would follow his (the MEDO- PERSIAN EMPIRE); the belly & thighs of bronze represent the third kingdom (the Greco-Macedonian Empire); the LOWER LEGS OF IRON represent the fourth kingdom (the ROMAN EMPIRE); and the feet of iron & clay represent the last kingdom (a resurrected Roman Empire in the days just prior to the second coming of Jesus Christ). (Daniel 2:36-43)

Daniel then goes on to explain to Nebuchadnezzar that the Rock that destroyed the statue represents God and His Kingdom; that the Rock (Jesus Christ) would return to earth at the time of this last empire (a revived “Holy Roman Empire” consisting of TEN European nations) to destroy it and all other kingdoms; then Christ would set up the KINGDOM OF GOD on earth — which will last forever! (Daniel 2:44-47; Revelation 17:12-14, 5:10)

Daniel & His 3 Friends Are Promoted

“Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell prostrate before Daniel and paid him honor and ordered that an offering and incense be presented to him. The king said to Daniel, ‘Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.’ Then the king placed DANIEL in a high position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon [similar to what happened to Joseph in Egypt!] and placed him in charge of all its wise men. Moreover, at Daniel's request the king appointed Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego [i.e. Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah] administrators over the province of Babylon, while Daniel himself remained at the royal court” (Daniel 2:46-49).

Vista Ridge Mall’s new ownership group, Investment Corporation of America, plans to place a statue detailing the biblical Ten Commandments outside the mall in the near future, among some of their other changes. Earlier today, company spokesperson Matt Rist sent an image of a similar monument outside the Music City Mall Elegante Hotel in Odessa, Texas, as an example of what that might look like.

CEO and mall owner John Bushman said he wanted to put the commandments up on all his properties as a way to spread love around the world.

“I, along with our team members, just think that more love is needed in the world by all, from the time we are born to the time that we leave this earth, and we think the Ten Commandments is the foundation for love and what we should all aspire to live by,” he said.

Rist also announced recent new openings in the mall. The Tool Box, a power tool supply store based out of Valley View Mall in Dallas, opened its new location Oct. 30. In recent Top News stories, I have been posting articles concerning the possibility of a civil war coming to America. We have had actually two civil wars in our past. We had one with England, which resulted in the formation of the United States, and of course; we had the war between the states, which pitted the northern states against the southern states. However, the history of civil wars for our people is an ancient one. Most simply do not know who we are in history. Ironically the Chinese knows their history, so do the Arab nations and the Jews, but for America, we simply do not know anything about the identity of our nation in history. This may sound unbelievable but our citizens, educators, newspaper editors, newscasters, and leaders do not understand the real meaning of the world news they report, analyze and discuss. Heads of government are utterly unaware of the true importance of the world-shaking events with which they deal and will be dealing with soon. They have no conception of where these events are leading because they do not truly believe that the Bible's prophecies are real! If we claim to believe in God, and if we believe that God is the author of the Holy Bible, then we must accept His word and His predictions! One-third of the Bible is prophecy that HAS NOT YET occurred! If we claim to believe what God says, then we must believe God's prophecies! Winston Churchill declared before the United States Congress: “He must indeed have a blind soul which cannot see that some great purpose and design is being worked out here below of which we have the honor to be the faithful servants.” Are you going to be blind to this great purpose being worked out? 

 We were put on this Earth for a purpose! Yes, God Almighty has a purpose for you and every other member of creation. However, the human race has rejected the revelation and the guidance and has preferred to ignore what our God has told us. Believe it or not, the Bible is as current and relevant today as the day when it was first written. The fact is that it is even more relevant today because much of what was predicted by the prophets was meant for today and beyond and not for the time these men were living! The hard-to-pronounce nations mentioned in the pages of prophecy written so ,long ago still exist, and you can prove it to yourself! God has given us tools to understand His predictions for our world and has had uncanny accuracy that nobody could ever duplicate without divine influence.

God has rightly predicted:

Major American foundations have given millions of dollars in funding to Islamic organizations accused of having ties to radical Islamist movements or designated terrorist organizations and a group of activists are trying to convince them to stop.

The Cheyenne are thought to have originated in the Great Plains, an area of North America which includes the entirety of the states of Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota as well as parts of Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming. Formed from the combination of two tribes, the Só'taeo'o and the Tsétsêhéstâhese, the Cheyenne have a checkered history with the United States government, dating back to 1825 and the first treaty between the two. The new secret room (highlighted in red) found inside Egypt's Great Pyramid (top left) has been hailed as the biggest discovery inside the Giza landmark since the 19th century. An apparent void lying undiscovered deep within the ancient Wonder of the World was found by scientists who had been mapping it using cosmic-ray based imaging (scan pictured top centre). The internal structure is located above the Grand Gallery - that links two of the pyramid's chambers - and traces a similar route for at least 30 metres (100ft), according to a study published in the journal Nature. The precise design and purpose of the space remains unknown, and scientists are now hoping a flying robot could be sent in to uncover its secrets.

The Italian study backs up tests carried out by the charity Medical Detection Dogs, which is based in Buckinghamshire.

Its co-founder Dr Claire Guest said its own research had found a 93% reliability rate when detecting bladder and prostate cancer, describing the new findings as "spectacular".

The latest research, by the Department of Urology at the Humanitas Clinical and Research Centre in Milan, involved two German shepherds sniffing the urine of 900 men - 360 with prostate cancer and 540 without.

Scientists found that dog one got it right in 98.7% of cases, while for dog two this was 97.6%.

They said the dogs are able to detect prostate cancer specific volatile organic compounds in the urine but said an important question remains of how a dog would find it in daily practice.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK, with more than 40,000 new cases diagnosed every year.

Dr Guest said: "These results are spectacular. They offer us further proof that dogs have the ability to detect human cancer.  Read More

Phillip Citroen, a former SS soldier, told CIA agents that he had met a man claiming to be Adolf Hitler who was living among ex-Nazis in the town of Tunja, Colombia, in 1954 under the name Adolf Schuttlemayer. Citroen told agents that the former Nazis called the man Fuhrer, gave him one-armed salutes and 'afforded him storm-trooper adulation', declassified documents show. Citroen even passed along a photo of himself with the man (main) in order to prove his claim. He said Adolf lived in Colombia until January 1955, when he moved to Argentina.
