Sherice Richardson (left) was driving to her daughter's daycare when she saw the car (inset) smoking on the side of the road, with bullet holes in the windshield. Trooper Daniel Harrell (right) was inside, bleeding from his face. 'I'm hit, I'm hit' he told her. Richardson immediately called 911, then found gauze and began treating Harrell. The trooper has since been released from the hospital and three suspects have been arrested in connection to the shooting.
