On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) blasted New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) as a “hypocrite” and pointed to his calls for a polygraph test and an FBI investigation into Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Malliotakis said, “He’s a hypocrite. It is rules for thee, not for me. He has called for an FBI investigation, for a polygraph test when it came to Justice Kavanaugh. As a matter of fact, in 2013, there [were] similar charges against an assemblyman. He demanded his resignation immediately. He said there was no tolerance for sexual harassment in New York State, and so, the governor now has a lot of answers that he needs to give New Yorkers. This just adds to his problems.”

Yes. Earth has experienced cold periods (or “ice ages”) and warm periods (“interglacials”) on roughly 5000 plus-year cycles.  Over the course of these cycles, global average temperatures warmed or cooled anywhere from 5°-15° Fahrenheit.

Over at least the past 5,000 years, glacial and interglacial cycles have been triggered by variations in how much sunlight reaches the Northern Hemisphere in the summer, which are driven by small variations in the geometry of Earth’s orbit around the Sun. But these fluctuations in sunlight aren’t enough on their own to bring about full-blown ice ages and interglacials. They trigger several feedback loops that amplify the original warming or cooling. During an interglacial,

• sea ice and snow retreat, reducing the amount of sunlight the Earth reflects;
• warming increases atmospheric water vapor, which is a powerful greenhouse gas;
• permafrost thaws and decomposes, releasing more methane and carbon dioxide; and
• the ocean warms and releases dissolved carbon dioxide, which traps even more heat.

The role of climate change due to natural God caused events is well recorded in recent history. The Little Ice Age is a period between about 1300 and 1870 during which Europe and North America were subjected to much colder winters than during the 20th century. The period can be divided in two phases, the first beginning around 1300 and continuing until the late 1400s. 

In the roughly five thousand years of recorded human history, there has been one period in which we have had a real taste of our climate’s potential for moodiness, beginning around the start of the fourteenth century and lasting for hundreds of years. During this time, temperatures dropped by as much as 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Compared with the extremes of snowball earth, that might not sound like much, but for people who lived through it the change was intensely dramatic. This was also the period between the end of the Middle Ages and the birth of the modern world. In a new book, “Nature’s Mutiny: How the Little Ice Age of the Long Seventeenth Century Transformed the West and Shaped the Present” (Liveright), the German-born, Vienna-based historian Philipp Blom argues that this is no coincidence—that there is a complex relationship between the social, economic, and intellectual disruption caused by the changed climate and the emerging era of markets, exploration, and intellectual freedom which constituted the beginning of the Enlightenment.

The Little Ice Age is an example of how we so often find climate changes can help or hinder civilization.  We know for sure that the earth became cooler: the evidence can be found through a variety of techniques for assessing historical temperatures, such as the study of ice cores and tree rings. There are also extensive written accounts of the cold in the form of letters and diaries, sermons, the records of wine growers, and so on. The cooling happened in phases, with an initial drop beginning around 1300, and a sharper and more abrupt onset of cold starting in 1570 and lasting for about a hundred and ten years. It is the latter period that provides the focus for Blom’s book. Agreement about the fact that the cooling occurred, however, is not matched by an equivalent consensus about why. There is evidence that the cooling may have been caused by a decrease in sunspot activity, and therefore in solar radiation, or by an increase in volcanic eruptions. 

So many people died of disease in the Americas after the arrival of Columbus—fifty-six million, according to the latest research in Quaternary Science Reviews—and so many areas of cleared, cultivated land were abandoned, and thus allowed to reforest. In China, then as now the most populous country in the world, the Ming dynasty fell in 1644, undermined by, among other things, erratic harvests. In Europe, rivers and lakes and harbors froze, leading to phenomena such as the “frost fairs” on the River Thames—fairgrounds that spread across the river’s London tideway, which went from being a freakish rarity to a semi-regular event. 

Birds iced up and fell from the sky; men and women died of hypothermia; the King of France’s beard froze solid while he slept. Some of the central events of English history turn out to have been linked to the Little Ice Age: in 1588, the Spanish Armada was destroyed by an unprecedented Arctic hurricane, and a factor in the Great Fire of London, in 1666, was the ultra-dry summer that succeeded the previous, bitter winter. Fingerprints of the cold period can be found in surprising places. Why do the most admired violins in the history of music, made by Stradivarius and Guarneri, come from the middle of the Little Ice Age? Blom cites research arguing that trees took longer to mature in the cold, which resulted in a denser wood, with “better sound qualities and more intense resonance.”

The most consequential effect of the frigid weather, Blom argues convincingly, was to disrupt the harvest, especially the grain harvest. It led to a fundamental shift in the social order across Europe, and beyond. The Little Ice Age amounted to “a long-term, continent-wide agricultural crisis,” as Blom writes. Grain harvests did not return to their previous levels for a hundred and eighty years. That affected everything about how society worked. Before this moment in European history, society was largely organized along feudal lines. The bulk of the population consisted of peasants, living on land owned by a lordly overclass. Town life, meanwhile, was dominated by restrictive guilds, and, in Blom’s description, it “valued social capital—class and family standing, trustworthiness, competition—but did not encourage anyone to reach beyond his station.” This settled order, which had lasted for centuries, was overturned. At first, there were panics and uprisings, food riots and rebellions, and a spike in witch trials—because, in a pre-scientific world, the idea that witches were responsible for failing harvests made as much sense as any other explanation.

Over time, however, larger structural shifts emerged. In the basic bargain of feudal life, a peasant kept one part of his harvest for himself, put one part back into the ground for the next year’s harvest, and gave the last part to his feudal lord. When peasants had no surplus grain, this system collapsed. If local crops were failing, trading at a distance, to bring goods from farther afield, was critical. Money, and the ability to buy and sell with cash or its equivalent, took on a larger role. Cities with a culture of trade especially benefitted from this shift. The preëminent example in “Nature’s Mutiny” is Amsterdam, which went from being a sleepy backwater of the Habsburg Empire to a thriving, economically dynamic center of rapidly expanding commercial networks, with a population that grew tenfold in just over a century.

Here we see the birth of the idea that markets, and the rules of markets, have supremacy in human affairs; we also see how the new dispensation offered opportunities to a new breed of ambitious, ruthless, commercially minded man. Amsterdam was the home of one of the world’s first big exploitative overseas businesses, the Dutch East India Company (Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie), or V.O.C. Blom tells the story of Jan Pieterszoon Coen, a V.O.C. official who burned down the Indonesian city of Jakarta and then led an expedition to punish traders on nearby islands who had broken the V.O.C. monopoly on nutmeg by selling to English and Portuguese merchants. Coen executed the merchants, killed fifteen thousand islanders, and sold the survivors into slavery. His feats in Indonesia would not have been possible, he told the company directors, “had not the Almighty fought on our side and blessed us.” For true believers, God and the rules of markets were becoming inseparable—a conflation that, Blom argues, was taken to justify the exploitation of both people and natural resources and would lead us to our contemporary moment of environmental crisis.

This is a sweeping story, embracing developments in economics and science, philosophy and exploration, religion and politics. Blom delivers much of his argument through compressed, beautifully clear life sketches of prominent men. We meet the philosopher (and retired soldier) René Descartes, the mage and proto-scientist John Dee, the essayist Michel Montaigne, the Jesuit polymath Athanasius Kircher, the excommunicated Jewish philosopher Baruch de Spinoza, the encyclopedist Pierre Bayle, and the great painter Rembrandt van Rijn, who both depicted and embodied the new human landscape of Dutch economic transformation.

In the course of “Nature’s Mutiny,” therefore, we travel a considerable distance from the subject of unusually cold weather. Too far, a reader might think, for Blom’s argument to be regarded as a case conclusively settled. But it wouldn’t be fair to “Nature’s Mutiny” to see the issue of proof so starkly. It is a book about a new economic system and the philosophical and cultural trends that accompanied it; climate is central to the story that it tells, but the connections don’t aim for the solidity of algebraic logic. Rather, Blom is seeking to give us a larger picture that is relevant to the current moment. His book is about links and associations rather than about definitive proof; it is about networks and shifts in intellectual mood, about correlations as much as causes.

Blom’s hypothesis is forceful, and has the potential to be both frightening and, if you hold it up to the light at just the right angle, a little optimistic. The idea can be put like this: climate change changes everything.

And it is NATURE and GOD that changes this climate - NOT MAN or LIBERAL SCIENTIST!

For some unknown reason, I get quite a bit of hate mail, or more accurately, harassment e-mails. I think it may surprise them if they only knew that 'sticks n stones' do't bother me a bit. The simple reason is that I write to an audience of two, that's it. I am really satisfied if only two sets of eyes read what I write. I do want my family to read what I write, in an effort to impart what knowledge I have gained over the years to them, but I am also honestly aware that they sometimes don't as much as I wish they would. Someone sent me an e-mail sarcastically informing me that I probably don't have more than 25 people reading the nonsense that I write. Well to be honest, it is a little more, but almost never more than 500 or so, unless of course it is about sex, or Danica Patrick, of NASCAR fame. I have one article on Sex and the Bible that has been opened at least 45,000 times! The few on Patrick that has been put on The Plain Truth also have thousands of views. I guess they saw no pictures, and quickly clicked 'back.'

So who do I write for? Myself, perhaps? Nope. I write to God; both the Father and to Jesus, and do so in the same way I pray to them. So my writing style is a bit unprofessional. Reading something I write is usually a stream of consciousness set of thoughts, much like if one had a conversation with me on a phone, or in person. Some readers tell me they enjoy it, I am sure my English teachers cringe and deny they ever had me in their classes.

Many of us live our lives day by day. We work hard, but never seem to get ahead. Many don't want to watch or read the news because they just don't think that anything that is going on impacts them, or even if it does, there is nothing they can do to change anything. If you think this you are wrong!  Ten people could have saved Sodom, a huge city of its time.... God only found one!  Below I am lisitng the four major problems that are and will be affecting your life! Read them and see why you are living the life you are, and where you are going, and how you can change the direction of many things you do not believe you can right now.

Simply put here are the four worldwide problems that impacting all of mankind right now.

Now that the election is over, Trump is out of office and Biden is in, thoughts have turned to governing. Well, maybe not governing. More like executive order fiat. It seems the only measure Congress has voted on thus far is the impeachment.

Still, if you believe the Dems, they were the ones we had to elect to restore our "democracy." And every time they mention that word, "democracy," many of us right-wing radicals feel compelled to remind America that we are not in fact a democracy, but are a constitutional, representative republic. Maybe we just say, "We are a republic."

 Most people do not realize what a man really is, believe it or not. Yet God plainly tells us the answer. "And the Eternal God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul" (Gen. 2:7).

   There is the answer! Man became a living soul; that is what man is — a soul. Notice there is no mention that man has a soul, but that man is a soul.
   When God placed Adam and Eve, who were two living souls, in the garden, He issued a command: "And the Eternal God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." God was speaking to the man, who was a soul!

   When God said Adam would surely die for taking of the wrong fruit, He was directly informing man of the penalty for sin. The inspired Apostle Paul wrote, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom. 6:23).

   Ezekiel was directed by the Holy Spirit to write, "The soul that sinneth, it [the soul] shall die"! (Ezek. 18:4, 20.)

   Death is the absence of life, the cessation of life — not the continuation of life under different circumstances. Notice the two opposite states given in Romans 6:23. God tells us the wages of sin is death, but, on the other hand, the gift of God (not something you were born with) is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
   If eternal life is the gift of God, and comes only through Christ, how is it that humans have assumed they already possess eternal life in the form of an "immortal soul"? Ezekiel said the "soul" that sinneth shall die! Since man is a soul, and since man can die, and a soul can die, it is obvious that man and soul are one and the same thing!

Bob Barney: We know this very well from our own business. We are in the paint business, and has spent literally thousands of dollars on corrupt EPA, OSHA, Fire and governmental officials with paying lawyers, fighting bogus fines, etc.  These people are evil people with "little guy" syndrome who actually hates small business out of their own jealousies. 

Ever since "14 days to slow the spread" transitioned into a months-long shutdown for many states, Americans have wondered whether lockdowns are more about power than safety in the eyes of those in government.

One Los Angeles County health inspector's recent behavior did not do much to quash those concerns.

According to Fox News, Bart Avery is one of the owners of Bravery Brewery in Lancaster, California. Avery said he saw a health inspector begin dancing just moments after telling a brewery employee the business had to shut down.

Steven Gregory, a correspondent for iHeartMedia, posted a video taken by a security camera within the brewery that appears to corroborate Avery's story.

Included in the pages were the repeated mention of 'advanced technology reports' surrounding Nitinol, described as a shape recovery alloy that the Pentagon wanted to determine could be used to improve health. In the 1960s, antiwar activists adopted songs like the "Eve of Destruction" and "For What It's Worth" as their anthems. Disenchanted youth feared that the world was on the verge of collapse; we were nearing the end of days. Concurrently, the civil rights activists were singing the hopeful "We Shall Overcome." (Black folks singing an upbeat and emboldening song written by a white guy would be frowned upon today.) Both groups were buoyed by the blessing of free speech. Their voices were heard. Attempts at silencing them only made their voices louder and more widespread. Even people on the sidelines began to pay attention.

The war ended, civil rights moved forward, and life went on. People wanted not to sing the same note, but harmony. Even Rodney King, whose 1991 beating was a lightning rod for riots against police brutality pleaded, "Can we all get along?" Yes, we can. People have no appetite for or energy to waste on hating for sport. We have the freedom and sensibility to disagree and work toward peaceful coexistence – when we are free from government propaganda and media manipulation.

However, the political class thrives on discord. Since circa 360 B.C., the "divide and rule" concept was on the books. Philip II of Macedon, Alexander the Great's father, knew that with division comes weakness. The Greek rulers were able to keep the various cultural and ethnic groups in check by keeping them in a constant state of conflict. The factions are so busy bickering and jockeying for favored status that they fail to see their government's main objective is to stay in power, not to empower the populace.

Jeff Bezos has been spotted landing in Cabo San Lucas with girlfriend Lauren Sanchez for a romantic Valentine's getaway following his announcement that he would step down as the CEO of Amazon.  Bezos, 57, and Sanchez, 51, arrived at the luxurious Mexican vacation spot in a private jet on Friday, and were quickly whisked away by a waiting limousine to begin their weekend retreat. It was the first time the lovebirds had been spotted together since Bezos announced on February 2 that he would hand over the day-to-day management of Amazon to longtime company executive Andy Jassy by the end of this year.

Today is the 12th "New Month" Day of the year, and I find only 2 mentions of this month in the Bible.  The Bible translates the beginning of each months, as New Moon festivals, because at one time, before the flood, new moons started the new months. This isn't true today, so the best translation would be New Month Festivals....  

 I often mention that God's calendar is NOT like any other calendar on earth today.  It is not the Roman calendar that we follow, or the equally pagan Jewish calendar that many churches believe is the calendar of God.  To read more about God's Calendar click here .  There is a mistake that those who follow a Jewish calendar has made, and that refers to the word for new moon.  That is a mistranslation, as the proper rendering should be NEW MONTH, as I did in The Plain Truth's Red Letter Bible.

The Hebrew word 'chodesh', which is Strong's Exhaustive Concordance simply means "new" or to "rebuild." Chodesh does not mean "new moon". It means 'new' with an implication that a month is about to begin again.

Originally, when the earth had a perfect 360 day rotation around the sun, and the moon's journey around the earth was exactly 30 days (today it is 29.5 days), new moons where on the new months. The calendar was in balance. However, probably after the flood, the weight of water slowed the earth rotational spin (this is NOT mentioned in the Bible) to 365.25 days a year and the moon's rotation to the present one of 29.5 days.

The ancients noticed that the months were no longer 30 days and the years were not 360 days, but now over 365. A calendar needed to be made to reflect this. Egypt made the first perfect calendar, one Moses was very familiar with, which had 12 - 30 day months and then 5 days at the end of the year that did not count. This is also seen in Enoch's calendar (see illustration on left).God's calendar was like the Egyptian one except that year no longer started on the first day of summer, but on the first day of spring. Springtime is the birth of the new year in nature, as morning is the start of the day as well. The term for new moon became "new month" as the new moons and new months no longer matched up. This is not hard to conceive as the English word for month comes from moon! Yet our months have nothing to do with new moons! The same applies to God's calendar.

At the end of this month 5-6 extra days are added AND NOT COUNTED, as the New Year always is on the Spring Equinox or March 21st.

A peer-reviewed study contends the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention violated federal law by inflating Coronavirus fatality numbers.

The figures were inflated by at least 1,600%, according to the Public Health Initiative of the Institute for Pure and Applied Knowledge, which published the study, titled "COVID-19 Data Collection, Comorbidity & Federal Law: A Historical Retrospective."

The study asserts that the CDC willfully violated multiple federal laws, including the Information Quality Act, Paperwork Reduction Act and Administrative Procedures Act, reported the National File.

In January, as WND reported, the World Health Organization admitted the "gold-standard" PCR tests used to determine whether or not a person is infected with COVID-19 are not reliable on the first try and a second test might be needed.
