Ukraine arrested one of the world’s most dangerous international terrorists last month in a special operation conducted by local, Georgian and American special services. Al-Bara Shishani, the former commander of the so-called Islamic State and deputy head of its intelligence operations, was detained on the outskirts of Kyiv. Shishani had been presumed dead for more than a year, but was hiding here and plotting international terrorist attacks, according to Ukrainian authorities. In fact, this country torn by a Russian-backed separatist war has become a kind of Twilight Zone for terrorists of many stripes who have found ways to cross its borders and take advantage of a deeply divided society where law and order have been undermined by official corruption and public confusion.

Monkeypox is spread through close contact with infectious material from skin lesions, objects contaminated with the virus, seminal fluids and secretions from the throat. Most of the cases recorded in the most recent wave of infection have been reported among men who had sex with men.

The patient in the case report, an Italian 36-year-old male, spent five days in Spain in June. Nine days after returning home from his trip, he developed a fever, sore throat, fatigue, headache and inflammation in his groin area. Shortly afterward, he tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 and within a day he developed a rash on his left arm. The day after, small, painful blisters appeared on his torso, lower limbs, face and rear.

Due to the spread of the blisters that began to evolve into pustules with a depression in the middle of them, he decided to go to the emergency room of the Policlinico “G. Rodolico - San Marco” University Hospital in Catania, Italy and was transferred to the Infectious Diseases unit at the hospital.

After being admitted, the patient reported that he had unprotected sex with men during his stay in Spain. He was tested for monkeypox and tested positive for the West African variant of the virus, which has been found to be responsible for the outbreak in Spain. Even after 20 days, monkeypox tests continued to return positive, with the physicians stressing that this could mean that patient may remain contagious for several days after clinical remission.

Social media companies were part of what Time magazine called “​​an extraordinary shadow effort” whose objective was to prevent Donald Trump from being reelected in 2020. There can be no doubt that social media is aligned with the left in a political cleansing of Republican candidates and voters. According to the Time article, The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election, “a well-funded cabal of powerful people” “successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears.”

Of course “disinformation” and “viral smears” were anything that hurt Democrats and helped Republicans. Truth was never a consideration.

And neither is it today.

Morgues in multiple states have resorted to extra storage space for fentanyl overdose victims’ remains after synthetic opioid deaths continued to surge last year, according to Fox News.

Fentanyl overdoses killed over 71,000 people last year following a 1,800% rise in the annual synthetic opioid-related overdose death rate between 2013 and 2020, provisional Centers for Disease Control and Prevention data indicated. Cook County, Illinois, Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Ponni Arunkumar told Fox News opioid-related fatalities, most linked to fentanyl, are outpacing every other type of nonnatural death in the area, and its morgues reportedly require additional space originally prepared for the COVID-19 pandemic.

The county’s morgue enlisted refrigerated trailers, according to the outlet.

Some are worried the overdoses might hold a degree of blame for the St. County’s Medical Examiner’s Office body storage overflow options.

The images taken by the James Webb Telescope also captured unprecedented views of Jupiter's northern and southern lights.

The photos also show Jupiter's Great Red Spot, a storm big enough to swallow Earth, moving across the planet alongside countless smaller storms.

One wide-field picture shows faint rings around the solar system's biggest planet as well as two tiny moons.

"We've never seen Jupiter like this. It's all quite incredible," planetary astronomer Imke de Pater, of the University of California, Berkeley, said in a statement.

The moral perversion of Washington is that they’ll impeach a president over hinting at what would have been a legitimate investigation, but they’ll turn away from impeaching a president who willingly breaks the law.

As my colleague Brandon Morse reported, President Joe Biden is about to blatantly break the law to “cancel” thousands of dollars of student loan debt accrued by some of the most privileged members of society. Of course, nothing will actually be canceled. Instead, because the government will simply be out that money, the burden of those debts will be transferred from those who accrued them to hundreds of millions of taxpayers who didn’t.

It’s a disgusting, immoral move to tell a janitor making $40,000 a year that he must now foot the bill for college-educated Americans with far brighter employment prospects while receiving absolutely nothing in return. Past that, there are the overall economic concerns. What do you think is going to happen to inflation if millions of people are suddenly relieved of $10,000 in debt for no other reason than it existing?

But as I said in the first sentence of this article, the biggest issue here is that what Biden is set to do is illegal. There is no federal provision that allows him to “forgive” student loan debt on the backs of taxpayers via the stroke of his pen. Nancy Pelosi is on record saying Biden doesn’t have that power. The Department of Education has said Biden doesn’t have that power. For the president to still attempt this move wouldn’t just be a pushing of the envelope. Rather, it would be a conscious, deliberate decision to commit an impeachable offense.

The million-dollar question then becomes what Republicans are going to do about it. Crying on social media is not enough. The coming Republican House (and possibly, Senate) must move to hold Biden accountable. That should come in the form of making the treasury account for the “canceled” debt and burning the university system to the ground via taxes and investigations. The GOP can’t stop there, though. They must impeach Joe Biden.

For too long, too many on the right have been too squeamish to talk about impeachment unless it’s regarding Donald Trump. The moral perversion of Washington is that they’ll impeach a president over hinting at what would have been a legitimate investigation, but they’ll turn away from impeaching a president who willingly breaks the law. There’s more to impeachment than “perfect” phone calls and mean tweets. Biden must be taken to the woodshed, and while he won’t be convicted in the Senate, getting all this out in the open is a win in and of itself. The lawlessness has to stop, and any Republican who isn’t willing to go all the way should resign.

Melania Trump was briefly spotted last week leaving celebrity hairdresser Frederic Fekkai’s salon in Manhattan, sporting an immaculate blow-dry.

This was just days after FBI agents had stormed the Trumps’ magnificent Mar- a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida (dubbed the ‘Winter White House during his presidency), looking for classified documents, allegedly rummaging through Melania’s underwear drawer in the process.

But, if the former First Lady, 52, felt any anger or emotion about the raid on her home, as always, she wasn’t showing it.

‘Who can blame her for wanting to keep a low public profile? She hasn’t been hiding. I’ve seen her in the spa. She and Donald are always in the restaurants at Mar-a-Lago.’

While focusing on family and the charitable causes that interest her, Melania set up a website earlier this year to raise money for children’s charities, selling digital artwork for $150 a time, including a close-up portrait of her eyes and a sepia-toned image of her face.

In May, she made a rare public appearance to Place of Hope, a foster care agency in Palm Beach.

Friends say that, for the most part, she has been living in the 3,500 sq ft private residence at Mar-a-Lago, which is also an exclusive private club offering carefully vetted members the chance to join for a one-off $250,000 fee and annual dues of $16,000.

She swims laps in the Olympic-sized pool, plays tennis three times a week on the private courts, hosts parties in the ballroom and has facials and massages at the spa.

Perhaps most importantly – in an America so riven by politics, many fear it is on the brink of civil war – Mar-a-Lago is a fortress.

Researchers at the Chinese University of Hong Kong have created a magnetic slime robot to employ during surgery. When external magnets are used on the slime, it may be controlled by magnetic particles that are present.

Despite being hazardous, the magnetic particles may eventually be safe to utilize in the human digestive system thanks to a protective covering that is being created.

What Is Magnetic Slime Robot Made Of?

Polyvinyl alcohol-borax, a polymer, is used to make the robot. The robot is loaded with magnetic particles inside the polymer. The silicon coating is meant to make it safe for use inside a body even though magnetic particles are known to be hazardous to people.

The robot is not independent; instead, it is moved forward, rotates, or adopts the shape of an O or a C by means of outside magnets. Li Zhang, a co-author of the study that introduces the new robot, notes that the substance employed is a non-Newtonian fluid, as reported by The Guardian. It may therefore act both like a solid and like a fluid.

Is It Safe To Use

Even if the slime itself shows promise, there is still a long way to go before it can be used without harm, at least in a medical setting. Neodymium magnet particles are among the hazardous compounds that make up the magnetic slime. Therefore, before using the slime in surgeries or procedures, according to scientists, we will need to make sure they cannot seep into the body.

The magnetic slime is currently encased in a silica layer by the researchers. Sand's primary constituent, silica, should create a presumably secure barrier around it. According to one of the slime's developers, the efficiency of that layer will depend on how long you keep the slime within your body.

A popular Bible TV show is probing the notion that one of the most famous children's stories of all time is actually an unmistakable metaphor for the main storyline for human beings in Holy Scripture.

"Shabbat Night Live" recently investigated the classic tale "Hansel and Gretel," as it featured Joe Kovacs, author of the new bestseller, "Reaching God Speed: Unlocking the Secret Broadcast Revealing the Mystery of Everything."

The book opens readers' eyes and ears to the Spirit or parable level of the Bible, since the New Testament indicates Jesus Himself spoke exclusively in parables (Matthew 13:34).

On the television program, Kovacs noted while all stories we tell somehow voice the messages of Scripture, "Hansel and Gretel" is especially easy to understand.

"We're all taught this story probably in kindergarten or even earlier about children who are lost in the wilderness," Kovacs told host Scott Laird, who was filling in for Michael Rood. "They're trying to find their way home, they come across a house in the wilderness filled with all kinds of treats on the outside.
