The Real Jesus - The One you have never known!

His true Identity WILL SHOCK YOU!

By Bob Barney

1I am sure you have heard or perhaps watched shows devoted to so-called "Bible codes". This is where mathematical rabbis find hidden messages in the Bible using computer programs and are making some outstanding claims about these messages. The subject of "Bible codes" IS NOT what today's article is about. Instead of Biblical codes that are almost impossible for anyone in the real world to discover, we are going to set forth on a journey together and discover possibly the strangest and most important Biblical code of all time. Is it possible there could be a "hidden message" right before your very eyes?  You may find this to be one of the most eye-opening writings you have ever read about God, the Bible, and Jesus.

If I wrote these words: “The lawn, has long since died” in some foreign language and it was translated into English: “The lawn has died long ago” nobody would see that as much of a problem. Even to the most observant student the missing comma would not be important at all. The reason for this is because it simply isn't needed in the English translation. Now let me throw in a variable. Let's pretend in this make-believe foreign language that the “comma” was an important symbol to the writer unlike in English where the comma is only used in the formation of sentence structure. Perhaps to the writer it was a symbol for poison! Then the sentence would be translated, “The lawn was poisoned and died long ago.” The message I am trying to convey is that we may have right in front of our eyes, clues (symbols) to hidden messages that God placed in the Bible long ago. Would you be shocked to know there are actual symbols in the original writings of the Bible that have not been translated at all and therefore are not included in the translations of scripture we read every day?   We are talking about symbols that have such significant meaning that they communicate the TRUE identity of God! It is clear to me that to acknowledge these symbols would actually change everyone's perspective not only of God and the Bible, but man's role in understanding His mind and the things He deems are important for us to know about Him.

The following is the Hebrew English Interlinear translation of Genesis 1.

In the beginning God created

ראשית bre'shiyth אלהים 'elohiym ברא bara'

את 'eth

the heaven and the earth.

שמים shamayim את 'eth ארץ 'erets

Let me tell you right now, this will NOT BE BORING in a few more minutes of reading! Notice that after the word created (Hebrew bara' written as ברא) there is the Hebrew את 'eth ----which is not translated! In fact, the Hebrew את  is called the ALEPH/TAV. The reason for this is these two letters are the first and last letters in the Hebrew alphabet. Simply they literally correspond to our letter's “A” and “T” – The author, however, may have meant a more like our A-Z, like when we would say, I tried everything, from A to Z! In Hebrew, we would say, “I have tried everything from A to T!” Get it? In Greek, we would say The Alpha (from the same Aleph in Hebrew) and the Omega, or the first and last.

What does all this mean?

Now for the shocker. 22 times in the Old Testament the Aleph-Tav is not translated into any language. In the Hebrew itself it is not read aloud! It is silent, I guess like a period, or comma when we write today. The Hebrew scholars simply do not read these two letters as there is no word for these letters. Twenty-two is an important number in the Bible as there are 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet. 22 is the number of generations from Adam to Jacob (Israel), the number of works of creation, and the number of books in the Jewish canon of the Bible. (Sources: Josephus; the book of Jubilees 2.23; cf. Kabbalah) It is also interesting that in the notes for the word pronounced 'eth (Aleph-Tav), it is noted that the root word is originally from the Hebrew letter named “Owth” which means “a sign!”

In Revelation 1:11 John, sees the risen Christ in His glorious heavenly form telling him that "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last," and, "What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."

Jesus Christ who is part of the Godhead, refers to Himself with these strange names. He is the first and the last, the Alpha and the Omega. As stated earlier in Hebrew, he would be saying “The Aleph and the Tav!”. In all likelihood Jesus was probably speaking this to John in Hebrew but John wrote it down in Greek so that the entire Roman world could understand the prophecy! You see, Jesus Christ claims that He is the Aleph and the Tav! So, when you see these two letters placed next to each other it is a sign of who is doing the work or the speaking. It is a hidden message of the identity of the LORD Yahweh!

Here is what He said in hebrew:

I am the Aleph and the Tav, the beginning and the end, the first and the last (Rev. 22:13). When Jesus said this, He was making a direct reference to Isaiah 41:4, 44:6, and 48:12, where The LORD (Yahweh) Himself says that He is the First and the Last -- and directly said that there is no other “god” beside Yahweh! The Jews consider the name Yahweh so Holy that they will not even spell it or pronounce it!

This isn't a new idea, however. The concept that Jesus Christ is the LORD (Yahweh) of the Bible one nearly needs to go to John 8:58. The scene is that Jesus is arguing with the Jewish leaders by what right he had to do the things and say the things he was saying. They were trying to trap him into a charge of blasphemy. So, they wanted to know if he was greater than their forefather Abraham. Abraham was beloved by The LORD (Yahweh) more than anyone! Not only did Jesus say he was greater than Abraham, he revealed His true identity! Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM." Notice He did not say I WAS but I AM! Why?

Long before this time when Moses was wandering as a shepherd in the desert, God appeared to him in a burning bush that never actually burned up! Moses argued for a long time with God after God ordered him to return to Egypt (and certain death) because Moses did not want to go!

Here is the story from the Bible:

Exodus 3:4 So when the LORD (Yahweh) saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am."

5 Then He said, "Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground."

6 Moreover He said, "I am the God of your father--the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob." And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God.

7 And the LORD (Yahweh) said: "I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.

8 So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites.

9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.

10 Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt."

11 But Moses said to God, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?"

12 So He said, "I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain."

13 Then Moses said to God, "Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they say to me, 'What is His name?' what shall I say to them?"

14 And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.' "

I AM is the personal name of Jesus Christ, God of the Israelites and the LORD of your Bible! This is why in the next line in John 8:59 “Then they took up stones to throw at Him; {for claiming to be I AM” but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Christ said that He was the Aleph and the Tav and the I AM of the Bible. He claims to be Yahweh God so look again at these 22 times when The Aleph and Tav are NEVER translated!

Jesus is the Truth

Jesus also said He was the Truth of God Himself:

I am the Way and the Truth and the Life

I am the way and the truth and the life;
no man comes to the Father apart from me
(John 14:6).

Anokhi ha-derekh v’ha’emet v’ha-chayim
v’ish lo-yavo el-ha’av bilti al-yadi

Notice that the word for truth (emet) contains the first letter , the middle letter , and the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet, which the Jewish sages say means that the truth contains everything from Aleph to Tav:

Emet

What is Truth?

The Hebrew word emet has a more concrete meaning than the English word for “truth” (the English word derives from the Greek/Western view of truth as a form of correspondence between language and reality, but invariably languished over epistemological questions that led ultimately to skepticism). In the Hebraic mindset, the person who acts in emet is one who can be trusted (Gen. 24:49; 42:16; 47:26; Josh. 2:14). Actions, speech, reports, or judgment are emet because they are reliable (Dt. 13:14; 22:20; 1 Kg. 10:6; 22:16; Pr. 12:19; Zech. 8:16). If a seed is a seed of emet, its quality is trustworthy (Jer. 2:21).

In the Tanakh, emet is often coupled with chesed, covenant faithfulness, which designates God’s loyalty in fulfilling his promises and his covenant. For example, God’s emet and chesed were majestically revealed in giving the covenant at Sinai (Ex. 34:6).

The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth (Exodus 34:6).

Adonai Adonai el rachum v’chanun erekh apayim v’rav-chesed ve’emet

Indeed, Pilate’s question, “What is truth?” is a category mistake, since truth is not about “what” but about “Who.” That is, truth is not something objective and static, a thing to be known and studied from a distance. No. Truth is essentially personal. It is personal disclosure of the character of the subject. Understood in this way, truth is a way of living, a mode of existence, a relational truth.

He is the true Light, who lights every man that comes into the world
(John 1:9).

Hu or emet asher ba la’olam l’ha’ir l’khol-adam

Jesus is the Direct Object

Interestingly, Aleph and Tav form a unique word that functions as a “direct object marker” in both Biblical and modern Hebrew:

Direct Object Marker in Hebrew

As it is written in Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning God (ALEPH/TAV) created the heavens and the earth."

Considered this way Jesus is the Direct Object of the Universe; the End (sof) of all of creation. And not only is Jesus the End of all creation but He is the “Beginning of the Creation of God,” the Creator and Sustainer of all things: "For by him were all things created that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him and for him: And he is before all things and by him all things consist." (Colossians 1:16-17)

Thus says the Amen, the faithful and true witness,
the beginning of the creation of God
(Rev. 3:14).

Ko amar ha’amein ‘ed ha’emet v’hatsedek
v’reishit b’riat ha’elohim

Jesus is the Strong Sign
Finally, using the ancient pictographs, we can see that Jesus is the “Strong Sign” from Adonai:

The Strong Sign

He is the One who comes in humble, silent strength (Aleph), bearing the Sign of the true Covenant of God (Tav).

Mysteries of the Hebrew Alphabet

It should be noted here, unlike what some will try to deceive you and claim that we must only refer to Jesus in His Hebrew name, that Biblical Hebrew is NOT THE ORIGINAL Hebrew that the LAW or Torah, was written in! Ancient Biblical Hebrew is really Babylonian Hebrew! Tradition holds that Ezra adopted the Aramaic square alphabet in place of the Paleo-Hebrew alphabet during the post-exilic Restoration of Israel in the fifth century BC. As the Aramaic alphabet became the Hebrew alphabet, Hebrew papyri and parchments were then primarily written in Aramaic script. The Paleo-Hebrew alphabet has persisted to the present day solely with the Samaritans. The Biblical Hebrew text available to us today is thus written in the Hebrew language with the adopted Aramaic alphabet. Jesus and his Apostles spoke Aramaic. However, the Aramaic language was largely replaced by Arabic with the rise of Islam in the seventh century AD. Aramaic does persist in the liturgies of the Eastern Catholic Chaldean, Maronite, and Syriac Churches, and remains a spoken language among scattered villages throughout the Middle East, especially among the Assyrians and Chaldeans. In Mosiac Hebrew, called Paleo-Hebrew, the first letter letter, 'Aleph, originally represented an ox head and was similarly portrayed in Phoenician and Ancient Greek as well as Ancient Hebrew. The name for the first letter, 'âleph is the same as the Hebrew word 'eleph which signifies an ox. This probably derives from two ideas, firstly from 'êl which means 'strong' or 'mighty' and as such is used of God, hence of the ox because of its strength. Secondly, in derivation from 'âlaph which is a primary verbal root meaning to 'associate with', 'be familiar with', 'be accustomed to' and as such was used of friendship, taming, joining together (hence as a numeral, '1000', and a 'family') and of learning by association. Here is the Hebrew that Moses wrote in:

(must install Ancient Hebrew font (see link) to see Gen 1:1-2 in TRUE Paleo-Hebrew, the language of Moses.

There is no doubt who Jesus claimed to be, and there is no doubt, hidden in the Bible 22 times, that His identity was written for all to see, but we have never translated it.

Now re-read Genesis 1:

In the beginning God created WHO IS JESUS

ראשית bre'shiyth אלהים 'elohiym ברא bara'

את 'eth

the heaven and the earth.

שמים shamayim את  'eth ארץ  'erets

Here is the true translation:

In the beginning, JESUS God created the heaven and the earth!

Now read John 1:

1 In the beginning was the Word (JESUS), and the Word (JESUS) was with God (The Father), and the Word (JESUS) was God.

2 He (JESUS) was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made through Him (JESUS), and without Him nothing was made that was made.

Compare this to Genesis 1! Who made the world? God the Father? NO JESUS!

4 In Him (JESUS) was life, and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.

8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.

11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word (JESUS) became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Yahweh, THE LORD, the creator of Heaven and Earth and all the universe, The God who wrote the Ten Commandments, the God who destroyed the Egyptians, dined with Abraham, who parted the Red Sea and who said also:

For I am the LORD who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I AM holy.

You shall observe My judgments and keep My ordinances, to walk in them: I am the LORD your God

I am the LORD, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.

For I AM the LORD your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.

I, even I, AM the LORD, And besides Me there is no savior.

Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, And He who formed you from the womb: "I am the LORD, who makes all things, Who stretches out the heavens all alone, Who spreads abroad the earth by Myself;

I AM the LORD, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me,

Then I will give them a heart to know Me, that I AM the LORD; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me with their whole heart.

Jesus says that He is Yahweh, that the Jews and all of the House of Israel shall be HIS people, and that He will be their God, and that His people will finally see His true identity! That Yahweh is Jesus whom the Jews rejected:

Isaiah 53:

1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? 2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. 3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. 4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.

Remember this friends, Jesus, Yahweh said to us all:

"For I AM the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.

I thank HIM for not changing! His Laws, His promises, and His love for us does not change! We are lucky that He hasn't allowed any changes, or we would be destroyed! The next time you pray to the Father in Jesus' name, realize by whose name you are praying in!
