morning – The count of the 7 days of Passover and Feast is

THINK OF CHRISTMAS.... When is it really? Christmas eve
is really December 24th, not the 25th! Most people really
think of all the gift giving and singing songs on Christmas
eve, NOT December 25th. Actually after opening presents
early Christmas morning. Christmas for the most part IS
OVER! The rest of the 25th is actually an anti-climax of
Christmas eve.)
Saturday the Sabbath is April 6th or the 18th day of the 1st
month Christ resurrects from the tomb after 3 days and 3
nights 72 hours (probably between 6-10 PM)
Sunday Morning before dawn. Sabbath is ENDING
(Matthew 28:1) First day is beginning – Tomb is EMPTY!
This is before Sunday!
Passover is one of God's 7 Holy Days that will be commanded to be followed by God's people in the Millennium. The Worldwide Church of God, and many offshoots believe that Passover is part of the 4th Commandment concerning the Sabbath Day. The Passoveris a Sabbath Day, but it is my opinion not on the equality of the 7th Day Sabbath. There is no question that God commands us to keep the 7th Day Holy and the Sabbath Commandment, as with all of the other 10 Commandments are still in force today.
I, like the Armstrong's felt for the longest time that the Passover was a required Holy Day. I have over the years changed my view. Although, I feel it should be observed, and the early church including Paul observed it, I think that it is not commanded at this time for these reasons:
1) No uncircumcised male can eat the Passover or partake in it. Yet Acts 15 shows that not all Christians have to be circumcised now, but will again during the reign of Christ. Obviously, those uncircumcised Greeks under Paul did not follow the Passover - maybe the ceremony of breaking bread, but that is unclear to me.
2) The Passover's exact date has been lost. Our family follows a different calendar than do the Jews, or most of the churches of God that follows the Holy days. I think it is easily proven that the modern Jewish calendar is TOTALLY PAGAN! The fact that God does not spell out the exact date of Passover, as He does the Sabbath says much to me about this.
3) Lastly, there was a time AFTER MT. SINAI and the so-called establishment of the LAW (it really wasn't, it was merely the re-establishment of the never changing Law of God) there was a time when Passover was not observed! Read it in Joshua.
Joshua 5
Circumcision at Gilgal
1 Now when all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the coast heard how the LORD had dried up the Jordan before the Israelites until we had crossed over, their hearts melted and they no longer had the courage to face the Israelites.
2 At that time the LORD said to Joshua, "Make flint knives and circumcise the Israelites again." 3 So Joshua made flint knives and circumcised the Israelites at Gibeath Haaraloth. [a]
4 Now this is why he did so: All those who came out of Egypt—all the men of military age—died in the desert on the way after leaving Egypt. 5 All the people that came out had been circumcised, but all the people born in the desert during the journey from Egypt had not. 6 The Israelites had moved about in the desert forty years until all the men who were of military age when they left Egypt had died, since they had not obeyed the LORD. For the LORD had sworn to them that they would not see the land that he had solemnly promised their fathers to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey. 7 So he raised up their sons in their place, and these were the ones Joshua circumcised. They were still uncircumcised because they had not been circumcised on the way. 8 And after the whole nation had been circumcised, they remained where they were in camp until they were healed.
9 Then the LORD said to Joshua, "Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you." So the place has been called Gilgal [b]to this day.
10 On the evening of the fourteenth day of the month, while camped at Gilgal on the plains of Jericho, the Israelites celebrated the Passover. 11 The day after the Passover, that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land: unleavened bread and roasted grain. 12 The manna stopped the day after [c] they ate this food from the land; there was no longer any manna for the Israelites, but that year they ate of the produce of Canaan.
So you can see that the New Testament church is really under the same law as the church while wandering in the dessert for 40 years! When we cross the river this time, at the return of Christ and enter the promised land (THE EARTH UNDER CHRIST IS THE PROMISED 'HEAVEN' of your Bible) or ETERNAL LIFE!
What we do:
If you decide to follow the Passover, the Bible shows that there are two types of observances! One can only take place at the Temple! The other, given in Exodus 12, is the one that a family follows when no Temple is present. Follow that one! Or do as Christ did. The Last Supper is a Passover Supper!
1) We buy our lamb and matzo's on the 10th of the month (Look at the New Calendar that we have here on the board, I will have it updated this week!)
2) During the daytime of the 14th (April 2) we take all yeast out of our home and our store and factory. We give all foods (including beer and liquor) to the poor or others. We now buy only kosher wine (because no added yeast is used) but for years just bought any wine.
3) At evening (sundown) of the 14th we roast a lamb and other clean meats over a fire (our grill) and either make matzos or buy them.
4) At supper we eat our meal, explaining the BOTH meanings of Passover, the Old Testament of the Egyptian Passover and how that symbolized Christ's Passover (the second type of Passover). In common is this theme. That God (and this God in Egypt was none other than Jesus Christ himself as LORD of the Old Testament) "passes over" our sins and places the blame on another (eventually it was HIM) and saves us from ourselves! Passover symbolizes the future tribulation that the Church will go through! There is no RAPTURE!!! That's Satan's deception. We will go through another Passover, just before Christ again returns to save us from the sin, typified as Egypt.
5) We eat Lamb, matzos, wine, radishes and salad. We also have potatoes, but that's not found in the Bible.
6) AFTER the meal. We do the breaking of the bread and drinking of the wine as a finishing touch to symbolize CHRIST! We pass a broken matzo to each member reminding them that it is the symbol of Christ body that was killed for us, and then the wine, which symbolizes His shed blood.
7) After dinner we watch a religious type movie, and/or read the Bible and discuss what it is the God wants us to do today.
Passover is not to be done as some traditional ritual! Spice it up from year to year. Make it different, and enjoyable!
We follow 7 days of eating matzo's and keeping leavening out of our diets and homes. (Leaven = Sin). Sin= The breaking of the 10 commandments
Allow your celebration to evolve on its own. Remember, GOD WILL BE THERE with you. That makes it Holy! God will bless you even if you screw things up! GOD READS YOUR HEART and not your mistakes!
