I received a letter from a reader named Ed who wanted to know if God chooses to be involved with world events or does He have more of a 'hands off' approach.  It is a great question and one that we have written numerous articles about on The Plain Truth. One being, "Where is God When Tragedy Strikes?". Our answer may confuse some, including Ed. The Godhead, for the most part does not interfere in human events. Why? This simply is not God’s world!  That’s right, you read that right, this world today is not God’s world.  The governments and the economies of the globe are not God's, and neither is anything relating to the societies in which we operate our daily lives in culturally or religiously. All of this belongs exclusively to us and what a great number of people are unaware of is that it all is secretly ruled by Satan, the devil!

In the Bible, Satan is called the “god of this world.”  “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not…” (2 Corinthians 4:4). He is the “prince of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2), and rules the peoples of this world, even though most do not know this.  He is the great fallen archangel of scripture whom we are told deceives the whole world! (Revelation 12:9). He currently possesses rulership, the control and the sway over governments of the world and over the nations.

When I said that "for the most part God does not interfere in human events", in some ways I expressed to Ed that He does. God is involved with our certain leaders and some governments...especially His called-out ones.  Scripture is very clear that throughout history The Godhead has intervened in world affairs that further God's plan of the Kingdom to come.

These are not my words, they are God's. Jesus' in fact as the LORD of the Old Testament.  This scripture was timely and true in Isaiah’s day when he wrote down the words from God.  It is certainly true today, where people live sinful lives proudly and boastfully (Proverbs 14:12). We live in an age of moral decline and maintain an unrepentant attitude towards God.   What was once viewed as evil and unacceptable is now the norm, where evil is touted as being good, and liberating— and Christian morals as being hateful and evil. Many people go along with the Queer and pedophile agenda or shrug it off by saying things like, “it's their choice” or “so long as it doesn’t hurt anyone or bother me…"  Doesn't it matter if it offends God?  If so, are you willing to pay the price for this crime against God's Laws?  Like it or not, you will pay the price and the cost you'll have to pay is tremendous.  

The Apostle Paul told Timothy “That in the last days there will come times of difficulty” (2 Tim 3:1).    He goes on to say that “people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good” (2 Tim 3:2-3).

Sound familiar?

Dems Take Senate

It's time we admit it. We no longer live in a free country.  People have often asked me over the past two years why the democrats didn't seem to worry about all the draconian things they were doing to the American people. "Don't they fear what's going to happen to them in 2022?"    I would answer NO!  They stole the election in 2020, probably in 2008 and 2012 and it is a fact that everyone knows they stole the election in 1960!  

The leftist communist do not fear you. They have taken away your freedom. Elections are fixed and there is nothing you are going to do about it, except an armed revolution.  Your leaders hate you. They want to kill you, they want to steal your money, your freedom, your children and your property.  It is that simple.  I had people try to convince me that they were going to try to stop this election by some act of martial law, and I replied that they did not have to.  They don't fear elections. They have them rigged. A Russian has a better chance of removing Putin from office than you have any democrat.  

In the next four years, you will see more and more doctoral rule.  People like Ron DeSantis, Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson will see themselves hauled into rigged courts and probably jailed! Your guns will be confiscated and if you refuse - they will kill you.

I have warned my small group of readers now for 14 years here on The Plain Truth of this very thing. We are the only place you can go to where you will find what is really happening. Why? Because we reveal the true God and the hidden demons behind this age, we are living in.  You haven't been told this fact either, but we, the United States of America are found in the Bible. Why don't you know it?  We celebrate the number 13, because of the 13 original colonies. Our nations seal consists of 13 arrows, 13 stars, 13 feather, etc. Our flag has thirteen stripes.  Why?  The Bible gives you the answer! Read it here: The Number “13” and the United States!

You, my friends are slaves.  You are slaves of the state, with less freedom today than the colonialist had when they declared war on England!  In Monday's article I wrote: "However, be warned! Democrats are vote stealers extraordinaire. They get dead people resurrected from their graves to vote, and stuff ballots early and often.  We may see Republicans win in droves, only to watch recount after recount take away the wins.  It happens in every election.  Ever notice the recounts only end when the democrat wins- even by 1 vote.  I've seen 17 recounts, but each recount had the republican winning. Then on count number 18, the democrat wins and the recounts end. The longer these ‘recounts’ in sketchy districts drag on, the more “BLUE” the totals become. Why is that do you think?"

America is in captivity!  God told us thousands of years ago, if we failed to obey His Laws, His SABBATH'S, and His ways, we would become slaves to foreign enemies, who will be living among us.  God (who was really Jesus) said:

"If you do not listen to me or obey all these commands, and if you break my covenant by rejecting my statutes and treat my regulations with contempt, and refusing to obey my Commandments, I will punish you. I will bring sudden terrors upon you—wasting diseases and burning fevers that will cause your eyes to fail and your life to ebb away. You will plant your crops in vain because your alien enemies will eat them. I will turn against you, and you will be defeated by your enemies. Those who hate you will rule over you, and you will run even when no one is chasing you! {Liberal Left who hates us! They despise who we really are! Now these, our enemies are ruling over us!}

"And if, in spite of all this, you still disobey me, I will punish you seven times over for your sins.  I will break the pride you have in your own power by making the skies as unyielding as iron and the earth as hard as bronze.All your work will be for nothing, for your land will yield no crops, and your trees will bear no fruit. {Famine coming to the USA! maybe this coming winter}

"If even then you remain hostile toward me and refuse to obey me, I will inflict disaster on you seven times over for your sins. I will send wild animals that will rob you of your children and destroy your livestock. Your numbers will dwindle, and your roads will be deserted. And if, in spite of all this, you refuse my correction and still go against me; then I {Jesus) myself will be hostile toward you. I will personally strike you with calamity seven times over for your sins.  I will send armies against you to carry out the curse of the covenant you have broken. When you run to your towns for safety, I will send a plague to destroy you there, and you will be handed over to your enemies. {The invasion by our enemies in our own soil! Like 9-11} I will destroy your food supply, so that ten women will need only one oven to bake bread for their families. They will ration your food by weight, and though you have food to eat, you will not be satisfied. (We see that happening right now!)

" If in spite of all this you still refuse to listen and still remain hostile toward me, then I will give full vent to my hostility. I myself will punish you seven times over for your sins.

"Then you will eat the flesh of your own sons and daughters. {Cannibalism/ abortion} I will destroy your pagan shrines and knock down your churches. (Do you know what Church Steeples actually represent???  Look it up!) I will leave your lifeless corpses piled on top of your lifeless idols, and I will despise you. (This is NOT the Jesus you are taught about in Sunday school!)

" I will make your cities desolate and destroy your places of pagan worship. I will take no pleasure in your offerings that should be a pleasing aroma to me.  Yes, I myself [Jesus HIMSELF} will devastate your land, and your enemies who come to occupy it will be appalled at what they see. {Even our enemies will be shocked!}.  I will scatter you among the nations and bring out my sword against you. Your land will become desolate, and your cities will lie in ruins.  {Our fate is that we will be overtaken by our aliens living among us and selling us into slavery, winding up in other foreign lands.}  Then at last the land will enjoy its neglected Sabbath years as it lies desolate while you are in exile in the land of your enemies. Then the land will finally rest and enjoy the Sabbaths it missed.

"Yes, as long as it lies desolate it will have rest, the rest it did not have during your Sabbaths, when you lived there.   As for those of you who are left, I will fill their hearts with anxiety in the lands of their enemies. The sound of a driven leaf will frighten them, so that they will flee as one flees from the sword and fall when no one is pursuing.  {PANIC ATTACKS... Mass panic attacks will be caused by TERRORISM! Terrorism = panic= Xanax!}.  Though no one is chasing you, you will stumble over each other as though fleeing from a sword. You will have no power to stand up against your enemies.  You will die among the foreign nations and be devoured in the land of your enemies.  Those of you who survive will waste away in your enemies’ lands because of their sins and the sins of their ancestors. {We will be captives, probably Europe and the Middle East} ... The alien who lives amongst you shall rule over you!  You will serve them, and not the other way around."

I realize that these are not pretty words. I also realize that this is the REAL JESUS! The Jesus that is not taught in fake Christian churches. The Jesus who destroys and does not turn the other check. The Jesus that is coming! My friends PRAY for this land and ask God for forgiveness. Call Sin Out!  Deviant behavior is SIN. Don't think it's OK. It is not!  "Your thinking is not my thinking", says the LORD (Jesus).  We must repent. We must obey Jesus and reject the false teachings of corrupt false ministers, whom Paul claims are ministers of Satan!  Stand up and fight for God. Do not allow fear, as we are not to fear those who can kill our body, not our coming immortality, but rather fear HIM, who can kill and remove your crown of immortality! FEAR GOD, not man.

 Everyone wondered why the democrats were not worried about this election, while letting murderers walk free, mandating vaccines and imprisoning their enemies.  I think the explanation is clear.  When they can steal elections at will, and the population doesn't fight back, why should they fear anything?

You my friends are not free. WE have been enslaved and WE allowed it to happen!  We should be slaves only to Christ, not any man.   So, friends, what are you going to do about it?

Central Florida residents received quite the scare on Saturday around 5.15am when the X-37B spaceship deorbited, causing a sonic boom. Many said they were woken up by the boom and that houses rattled from it. 'Woke me up, thought something hit the house,' a Twitter user said. The Space Force later confirmed the X-37B had successfully landed at 5.22am after being in orbit for 908 days. The unmanned ship is used to conduct experiments in space, including crop production and harnessing solar rays to be used as energy on Earth.Secret unmanned US spaceship causes chaos as it lands in Florida - after almost THREE YEARS circling earth - with locals fearing it was a UFO streaking through the sky... as sonic boom rocked houses 

UFO's are real, but they are not little green men from Mars or other planets in some solar systems.  Most UFO's (an the term means UNIDENTIFIED flying objects) have been and still are of this world. Weather phenomena, secret military aircraft (like the above story) and even hoaxes make up the first type of UFO sightings.  There is a second type of UFO that we will IDENTIFY!  If you believe in God, and the God who inspired the Bible, then in the pages of that Bible is the plain explanation of what these types of UFO's are... They are ANGELS!  Don't believe me, read the Bible:

Monday I wrote an article which stated... " If the democrats can be stopped from stealing millions of votes this year, there should be a great Republican Red Sweep at the polls. "

Guess what, the prediction came true.  Not the red wave, but the democrats stealing elections.   I think anyone who truly believes that John Fetterman really won in Pa. being a popular TV star also believes that Epstein killed himself, and the democracy still exist in America today.  One think predictable about totalitarian regimes is not only do they rig elections, they want the masses to know they rigged it!  This demoralizes voters and keeps them from going to vote again.  It works.  To make this message clear, they wanted to show the world, that they could take an imbecile moron who can't even talk or think, and get him elected!  Again. does anyone really believe this man got as many votes as he did. In fact do you believe the Biden got 81 Million votes (more than any president EVER) when he couldn't he fill up a bathroom sized room with supporters (and Trump filled football fields)?  It's not possible.  It also isn't possible that the party in power ever can do so well in an off year election with runaway inflation, sky high gas prices and violent crime ridden cities.    It's not even believable.  For example, see the graph below for so-called very popular presidents in their off year elections.

We will be lucky if Republicans gain 12 seats!

"In fact, you will chase down your enemies and slaughter them with your swords.   { Until Korea-Vietnam, we didn't lose a war!}.   Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand! All your enemies will fall beneath your sword.  I will turn toward you, make you productive, increase your numbers and uphold my covenant with you.  You will have such a surplus of crops that you will need to clear out the old grain to make room for the new harvest!

The Plain Truth

Over the years that I have spent studying the words of God which we of course find in the Bible, I have come to see a plethora of ideas scholars embrace about the Bible that just simply are not true. The Rapture for example is one of them. There is not one single reference in the Bible that shows people are raptured before the great tribulation, NOT A ONE. The Bible however is very clear that we all rise from the dead when Jesus returns and not one second before. The same mistaken dogma has led most people to believe that we either go to heaven or hell when we die; absolutely not true. We all die, yes, but Christian and sinner alike go to the grave UNTIL Christ returns.

Vegetarianism

Another subject that everyone universally believes in is that there was no death in the garden of Eden.

They love the quote of 1 Cor 15:21: "For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead".  KJV

Many Christians believe that all the animals in Eden were vegetarians and that there was no death that occurred at all. Believe it or not, the meaning of this Bible verse only applies to humans, not animals. Before we dig into more scripture, let's examine some flaws in the idea that there was no death of animals in Eden. If rats and mice had no natural enemies, how were their populations controlled? Same thing with mosquito's, lice, ticks and fleas? What happens when a species such as deer's population explodes due to man's misguided laws of banning hunting in America? We see an out-of-control dangerous response as well with the ticks they carry, of which many cause untold human misery and death. Look at Lyme disease alone, in its 19 forms, is a killer!

You may reply, “God controlled their populations, and they did not bare offspring, more than two per couple.” Sounds like a Communist Chinese population control scheme destined to fail, but the Bible clearly states that God said to all animals, “Be fruitful and multiply,” and to reproduce “after their own kind,”. This does however present a logistical problem. Oops. We understand the words “fruitful” and “multiply.” It means two made four that made eight that made two hundred and forty and so on! With no death, we have a bunch of rats eating the corn! If there were one of every species of animal in Eden, there would be at least 12-15 million pairs of animals. If each healthy, adult pair had an average of just one offspring per year, there would be at least several billion offspring after just 12 years! And in 50 years, there would be over 30 trillion! And in 1000 years.......... You get the idea. So, did Adam have to fail in order to bring reproduction to a halt in just a few years? I think not. Even if we factor in war, death, disease, abortion, and accidents, we humans have been able to produce some 6 billion people in less than 6,000 years. We need to use our noggin that God gave us. His words say what they mean and mean what they say. 

The physiology of humans and animals have not changed since creation. If wolves were to eat straw, as some believe (and yes there is a quote that the lion will eat straw) why did God give them teeth to rip into flesh? Also, why do some animals, including humans. have both carnivorous teeth and herbivore molars – thus making them omnivores? Did God plan for Adam to sin with what he chose to ingest and thus just played a game with the first couple knowing they had to sin? I think not. The teeth do not lie. The digestion systems of meat-eating lions and grass eating cows are plain as day, made by God to digest certain foods. God intended these animals to live a life to match their teeth, their guts and their instincts.

On a side note, one that most people do not realize, Adam and Eve's time in the garden was very short.  We know this because God also commanded that they be "fruitful, and multiply."   I have read some 'scholars' make the claim that Adam and Eve could have been in the garden for years before the fall and that just cannot be true.  God made Eve into a baby factory.  She was probably the most fertile of all women! Why? Because she was made perfect in order to bare children.   Realizing this, we see that the time in the garden could not have been more than 9 months as she bore her first child after being thrown out of garden!  Some early apocryphal books claim the time spent in the garden was merely a week!  That makes more sense to me. Regarding foods they may have chosen to eat, it is possible they may not have consumed meat in that time but that doesn't change the fact that they were permitted to.  

This leads us to the possibility that the death that Adam brought to the world was HUMAN DEATH, not animal death, and that is exactly what Paul meant. This is not new concept. Catholic Saint Thomas Aquinas disagreed with those who hold that in Paradise animals were all tame and herbivorous and he notes that only human nature changed as a result of human sin and not the nature of animals. Thus, there were carnivorous animals on the earth and brought into the Garden of Eden to see what Adam would name them. He writes:

“In the opinion of some, those animals which now are fierce and kill others, would, in that state, have been tame, not only in regard to man, but also in regard to other animals. But this is quite unreasonable. For the nature of animals was not changed by man's sin, as if those whose nature now it is to devour the flesh of others, would then have lived on herbs, as the lion and falcon. Nor does Bede's gloss on Genesis 1:30, say that trees and herbs were given as food to all animals and birds, but to some. Thus, there would have been a natural antipathy between some animals [Summa Theologiae I:96:1 ad 2]. 

Aquinas held that it was not all death that entered the world through man's sin, but human death. In his view, animals could kill and did kill and eat each other before the Fall. I believe he was right. Note that he spoke in terms of human death and resurrection--specifically of death and resurrection coming to those who are "in Adam" and "in Christ". "For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive"~ 1 Cor 15:22.

The Christian faith does not envision animals fitting those descriptions.

The Apostle Paul also seems to be speaking of human death entering the world.

The same is true of the parallel passage in Romans: “Therefore as sin came into the world through one man and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all men sinned” [Rom. 5:12].

The Millennium Will Be a Return to Eden:

This is a study on forgiveness using The Plain Truth's very own Bible. This is God's Holy Word that has been put in chronological order and has Jesus' words in Red Letter in the Old Testament and the New Testament. 

Matthew 6:9-13 

Our Father in heaven,
    may your name be kept holy.
¹⁰ May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth,
    as it is in heaven.
¹¹ Give us today the food we need,
¹² and forgive us our sins,
    as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
¹³ And don’t let us yield to temptation,
    but rescue us from the evil one.

This is the second installment on an article I wrote about the misconception that many have about forgiving others. It seems that most think that Christ told us to forgive what evil things people do to OTHER PEOPLE.  He did not.  Check the Lord's Prayer above and notice the reference to that big "US" in it.   He did not say, 'others'!  Jesus did not say, "as we have forgiven those who sin against them, or him, or her". 

The Plain Truth is, we are to forgive those who sin against us!

The Old Testament scripture of Isaiah 53 is a chapter of the Bible you will not hear read aloud very often in Jewish synagogues. What is so special about this prophecy is that it is probably the most spine-chilling proof of the divinity and reality of Jesus Christ! Even more spectacular is that the prophet Isaiah had written this about six hundred years before Jesus Christ came as a man in the flesh.  The Jewish people believe differently about a messiah. They have not and do not believe their own Bible that clearly shows a Messiah prophesy that was fulfilled by Jesus alone. 

The God of the Old Testament ~ Who do you believe it to be?

Let us take a look into some of the names of God in the Bible.

It is about time when we read the pages of the Bible to really see what is being said and believe the truth of its simple message.

This is an excerpt from The Plain Truth's, The Holy Bible in its Original Order ~ God's Word in Red, Bible. 

Isaiah 53 THE SUFFERING CHRIST:  It is about the suffering Christ.

1 Who has believed our message? To whom has the LORD (Jesus)' s power been revealed?

                The answer to this is Christians. JOHN 12: 38 Romans 10: 16

2 He grew up in His presence like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry ground.

Believe it or not, there was nothing beautiful or majestic about His appearance, nothing to attract us to Him. Jesus was ordinary looking! In fact, people could not pick him out in a crowd. Even though he taught every day in the Temple, the High Priest needed Judas to point Jesus out to the soldiers as he was that ordinary looking!

3 He was despised and rejected. A man of sorrows, familiar with suffering. He was despised like one from whom people turn their faces, and we didn't consider Him to be worth anything.

                The Jews of today claim their Messiah would come as a king. This shows that he was to come like Jesus did! Adam hid his face from Jesus, so did the Jews, and so do many today! Matthew 27: 30.  Hebrews 4:15, John 1: 10. Isaiah vs 4 He certainly has taken upon himself our suffering and carried our sorrows, but we thought that God (Elohim) had wounded Him, beat Him, and punished Him. The Jews believed him to be a sinner, so they beat him and killed him. Matthew 8: 17, 1 Peter 2: 24.

Verse 5 He was pierced for our lawlessness. He was crushed for our sins. He was punished so that we could have peace. He was whipped, and {by His wounds} we were healed!

                He was killed because of sin. Sin is the breaking of the Law! Christ did not come to take away the Law, but to take away the punishment for breaking the Law. The Law is still in force and always will be – we are freed from the PENALTY of sin. Romans 4: 25 1 Peter 2: 24 - a bodily wound; not mere mental sorrow; but literally, "pierced" as I have used here; minutely appropriate to Messiah, whose hands, feet, and side were pierced (Psalms 22: 16). The Margin, wrongly, (from a Hebrew root), translates as, "tormented."

Last night in the middle of the night under the cover of darkness, when evil commonly reigns, the US House of Representatives who are currently under Democratic rule, passed the most comprehensive, expensive, and most intrusive piece of legislation in the history of this republic. From paying for abortions to putting people in jail for five years for refusing to buy healthcare insurance, this bill is based on the lies, corruption, downright malfeasance, and the abuse of power! The real cost of healthcare in America is a scandal that you will not easily find anywhere else except for this story on The Plain Truth. Do yourself favor and try to search for healthcare cost of homosexual diseases. It will be hard to find the information that I am providing for you from any Google search and that is because the politically correct, homosexually led Congress is lying about the true cost of health insurance.

The Plain Truth was on the factual side of the covid scare.  Do a web search on The Plain Truth and COVID hysteria.  We warned that everything the media was telling you was a lie. Fox News lied as much as the rest.  Doctors lied.  Politicians lied, and China was blamed for a pandemic that did not exist. A man made (probably American-made) pandemic at that!  Dr Mercola writes:

        Do you really understand your risk of dying from COVID-19? According to The Hill,¹ a poll taken in mid-August 2020 showed “Americans have a significant misunderstanding of the risk of death from COVID-19 when it comes to different age groups.”

        On average, Americans were under the impression that people under the age of 44 made up about 30% of deaths, when the actual figure was less than 3%. At the time, 58% of those polled who were between the ages of 18 and 24 also said they feared “significant health consequences” were they to get infected, when in reality this age group accounted for a mere 0.1% of COVID deaths.

        Similar stats were found in April 2021, when the Washington Examiner reported on polls showing “COVID-19 alarmism” had resulted in 18- to 24-year-olds being the “most anxious about resuming normal life — despite being by far the least at risk from COVID-19.”²

        At the time, the reported death rate among this group was 0.006%, yet half reported being nervous about interacting socially. Meanwhile, in the highest-risk group, those 55 and older, only 31% were nervous about social interactions; 65% were not.

        Has anything changed? Anecdotally, it seems mask wearers these days are primarily young (and seemingly healthy) people, while the majority of older individuals have embraced the freedom to breathe freely again.

        Based on a new preprint analysis by professor John Ioannidis, there’s really no reason for anyone to live in fear anymore, regardless of your age, as your risk of dying from COVID is — and always was — minuscule across the board.

Ioannidis’ paper,^3,4 posted on the preprint server medRxiv October 13, 2022, looked at pre-jab national seroprevalence studies to ascertain the age-stratified infection fatality rate (IFR) of COVID-19 in people between the ages of birth and 69. As noted in the abstract:

“The infection fatality rate (IFR) of COVID-19 among non-elderly people in the absence of vaccination or prior infection is important to estimate accurately, since 94% of the global population is younger than 70 years and 86% is younger than 60 years.

In systematic searches in SeroTracker and PubMed ... we identified 40 eligible national seroprevalence studies covering 38 countries with pre-vaccination seroprevalence data.

For 29 countries (24 high-income, 5 others), publicly available age-stratified COVID-19 death data and age-stratified seroprevalence information were available and were included in the primary analysis.”

Here are two speeches, of many. Long, sometimes tedious, we have highlighted important aspects of his words, but please take the time to read and understand what this man had to say. His words were from God, he was a prophet, military genius and one of the greatest American of the 20th century.  MacArthur also cautioned the young President Kennedy to avoid a U.S. military build-up in Vietnam, pointing out that domestic problems should be given a much greater priority. Kennedy was said to have come out of the more than three-hour meeting 'stunned' and 'enormously impressed'. Unfortunately, the President didn't listen to his warning and 59,000 Americans paid the price. MacArthur and his second wife, Jean Faircloth, spent the last years of their life together in the Penthouse of the Waldorff-Astoria.

After his death Jean continued to live in the Penthouse until her death. The couple are entombed together in downtown Norfolk, Virginia; their burial site is in the rotunda of a memorial building/museum (formerly the Norfolk city hall) dedicated to his memory, and there is a major shopping mall (MacArthur Center) named for him across the street from the memorial. According to the museum, General MacArthur chose to be buried in Norfolk because of his mother's ancestral ties to the city. Today, literally hundreds of millions of people owe their freedom, their way of life, and there prosperity to this great man.

Ironically most of these people do not know it, or even know his name today. He wrote the Constitution of Japan, which forbade that country to ever have a military again. Because of weak leadership from the United States, we are today witnessing Japan rearming themselves, something the General was worried about ever happening again.

Japan's wealth and security is because of this man alone!  Many today deride the General, call him a demagogue. He was vain, arrogant and sometimes aloof, but what separates him from those monsters like Hitler who have some of those same attributes is his belief in the true God, and God's divine guidance over him and this nation. He knew it, and trusted it. Once when his staff were dodging bullets, scrambling for safety behind a jeep, they peered out to see MacArthur, standing tall and totally unafraid of the situation.... "Doesn't he think he can get killed? " a staffer asked the other.

The instant reply from his aide in horror, "Goddamn it, of course he does'nt!"

When his wife asked him (after failing to win the nomination for President) "What kind of President will Mr. Eisenhower make?"  He replied... "I think a good one! He was the best orderly that ever worked for me!"

Today, his prophetic words are haunting now more than ever....

One of the key aspects of The Plain Truth website is our statement of belief that God, the God of the Bible, has His unseen hand behind many world events.  This doesn’t mean that we believe that everything that happens in the world has God’s fingerprints on it, but we do believe (because the Bible tells us), that many things in the news are attributable to God working out His plan on earth of His eventual return to earth. This very plan of His return is promised to us in the pages of the Bible!  So, you can see, this is why are mission is to bring local, national, and world news to you and whenever possible, show everyone how these stories have to do with God.

Most of the readers of this site I am sure, believe in God yet due to the skepticism found in modern thought and the evolution-based contemporary educational system, most of us do not attribute much of what's happening to Him.  This is not the case however when we are dealing in our own personal matters, especially when in times of deep trouble, drama, death and despair; most of us go to God in prayer for guidance and salvation.  No one would fault someone praying to God to save the life of their child however if a world leader was to ask for a prayer to solve a war, that person would be ridiculed beyond comprehension.  It seems that God matters more to us in personal and private matters than He does in the world and on national matters read about in newspapers and/or watched on our TVs every day.

In an earlier article, I mentioned the fact that God does not have that much to do with this modern world.  I know that’s a shocking and almost unbelievable statement to make but it’s exactly what the Bible says.  According to the bible, the identity of the god of this world is none other than Lucifer, known as Satan the devil. When you read the Bible, it is the exception for only few and extraordinary or lucky people in the past, but God really has had little to do with the daily running of man‘s society. 

Long before men existed on Earth, the Bible tells us that there was a world before the world of Adam and Eve.  Whenever I go into this subject most people are totally surprised to hear that I do not believe that the earth is 6000 years old as most fundamentalist Christians teach.

 Creation of the World

The Bible is very clear that there was a world before the flood, and that God re-created the world that we now live on today. Some of the misunderstanding comes from the translation of the modern English Bible. In Hebrew Genesis chapter 1 verse 1 reads a little different than is translated, and it can be proved. Let's look at, “in the beginning,” as the Bible begins, “God created the heavens and the earth.”  That event does not imply that in the very next paragraph immediately following that, the creation of the heavens and the earth.  The reason most misunderstand that timeframe is due to a mistranslation of the next verse, or actually the continuation of the first verse.  “And the world was formless and void.”  That’s how your Bible reads, but as I will show you it is not the right translation. The correct translation is “and the earth became formless and void.”  That is a major difference in the meaning of the first verse of Genesis chapter 1. Instead of thinking that God created the heavens and the earth, and the earth was formless and void, implying this happened all at once, the correct rendering of Genesis shows a time frame of the creation of this modern world.  How we should understand this scripture actually goes something like this: God thousands, if not millions or billions of years ago created the heavens and the earth, and we know that everything that God creates is created in a perfect state. God is not the author of confusion; God’s creative ability does not create confusion.  God created a world that was ruled by an Angel of light named Lucifer, the most beautiful angelic being in all of God’s creation.  The Bible tells us that Lucifer was created perfectly until lawlessness was founded in him.   Lucifer's Story

God placed Lucifer in command of this world as it’s King before Lucifer fell from glory. We see in some instances elsewhere in the Bible where Lucifer rebelled against God, goes to heaven to God’s own throne, and tries to dispose of God and become God himself.  Now there is something else that you have to understand in order to comprehend the word “God” in the Bible.  God is a pagan word for the deity of Germanic origin.  The original Hebrew word for God was the word Elohim. Elohim is a plural word.  The words church, school, family, group, and congregation are all plural words yet implying a singular form.  There is the Barney family.  The Barney family consists of more than one individual all with the last name “Barney “, just like there is a family called Jehovah or Yahweh, that collectively is known as Elohim or God in English. In the very first chapter of the book of John, we read the actual beginning of time. “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by Him; Furthermore, without Him was nothing made that was made……. and the Word was made flesh, and dwelt amongst us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

It is plain to see that the God that created the heavens and the earth was more than one being comprised of a God the father and a God the Word.  When we read in Genesis “and God said let there be light,” this is what It meant: The WORD who became Jesus Christ said, “let there be light” and God the Father made it happen.  The two do in fact work in unison as one and together in the creation of everything; One speaking and the other doing.  It’s like your brain thinks and speaks to itself to go buy some food and your body does the actual work.  It’s that simple.    Click Here for explanation of God's name

Getting back to the point of the creation of the earth, the idea that the earth became formless and void implies that it was at an earlier time in a perfect state.  As I will show you, Lucifer was in command of Earth before the earth we live on today was reformed.  Lucifer then went to war with the God and lost. He was cast down to earth and was banished from heaven.  Lucifer as we see in the book of Job can go to heaven to ask God’s permission to do certain things, but he cannot appear in heaven without approval.  At the time of this battle, the entire universe, which was created in perfection, was destroyed in a Star Wars type heavenly battle between God and His angels and Satan and his demons.  This is why there are craters on the moon. Scientists try to tell us that these craters were formed from meteors over billions of years, but that is a falsehood. No scientist has seen one crater occur throughout all histories! The reason is that the moon and the stars and the heavens were destroyed in a single moment of time long ago when Satan and his demons waged war against God and his angels to have lost and been cast down to earth until the end of time.

God then destroyed this earlier world with water. After many years, and the Bible does not tell us how long or how many years it was, God re-created both the heavens and the earth, allowing some of the scars to appear in heaven as a sign of this earlier war, and on earth in the form of ancient times before the time of Adam.  God then created mankind in their own image.  Notice the Bible says that God did not create man in his image, God said “let us create man in our image after our likeness after our own kind.” Unlike the animals that were created in their image after their own kind, thus giving a species of animals that can only mate within their own kind, man was not created after “the mankind.” We were created after the God kind.  I understand how impossible those words must seem, but it is what the Bible says.  We are God’s children. We look like God, we think, we feel, we sense, and we comprehend like God.  The Bible says that God has nostrils, the Bible says that God has ears that God has eyes, and that God has a face like ours, arms like ours and even feet!  We are now a little lower than the angels, but we will be greater than angels when we are resurrected from the dead and born again into the Kingdom of God. Born from our mortal bodies into our immortal spiritual bodies into the God family of Yahweh. (1 Cor 15)

Adam's sin made a Messiah necessary
 

Adam, sinned, and the definition of sin is breaking God’s laws. (1John 3:4)   The Devil became the first sinner, yet Adam and Eve became the first human sinners. If Adam did not sin and disobey God’s laws, Adam would have replaced Satan as the King and the ruler of Earth.  This is why we read in the New Testament that Jesus is called the second Adam (Romans 5:12).  Jesus came the first time as a man and not as God in order to prove to the everyone in heaven and on earth that man can follow God’s laws and live a sinless life.  This then qualified Jesus to replace Adam and to replace Satan as king and God of this world upon His return, as King of Kings and Lord of lords. (Romans 5:14 and 1 Cor. 15:45)

When Adam and Eve sinned against God, this first couple decided to hide from God in fear.  God walking through the garden, looked for Adam and called out to Adam, and wondered why Adam was hiding from Him.  Adam said that they were hiding because they knew they were naked, and then God knew that they had sinned. Since that time, except for certain chosen people, God has not been involved in the world as much as he would have been if man had obeyed Him.  Therefore, there were certain people that God called and chose to be his friend, to walk in the presence of the Almighty.  Noah, Abraham, David, and every single Christian that choose Christ over this world, are all God’s friend and are watched over daily by the Host of Heaven.  There are also people, the entire nation of Israel, the descendants of Jacob, that are also chosen by God and watched over by Him and protected throughout history. The Jews, from the tribe of Judah with some of the tribe of Benjamin and Levi included, know their identity. Unfortunately, the nations of England, France, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, and the United States of America do not realize that they are also Jacob’s children.  What has become known as the lost 10 tribes of Israel are these western nations with the British and the Americans mainly being from the tribe of Joseph. You cannot truly understand prophecies of the Bible if you do not know who the nations of the world are as they are identified in your Bible.  To understand world events today, one must know who the players are, and they are all mentioned in the Bible.  Yes, you can be a Christian, and be saved, for the lack of a better word, and become born-again on the day of resurrection into an immortal life, in the family of God, and never fully understand who anyone is in the world today.  In fact, you can live your entire life never understanding world events, the news, and everything going on including maybe your death, and as long as you have the blood of Jesus Christ forgiving your sins, you will be a part of God’s kingdom to come--You have made it!  However, when you are being put to death during the tribulation or times leading up to the tribulation, it might be nice to know why and who is responsible for your martyrdom!  The purpose of The Plain Truth is to give you that knowledge.

One really has to be an idiot not to believe in God, and an even bigger idiot to believe in God and not understand that God is in control of his people.  Therefore, any news agency, be it a newspaper, TV, radio or web site that does not include the hand of God, and the possibility of the hand of God in world events, is doing you no service whatsoever.  Fox News, CNN, the New York Times and all other media that do not include God in their news are simply leaving out the most important aspect of the world we live in.  We try, whenever possible, to give you the important news, much of which you will not read on any other website or media source, so you can truly understand why these things are happening and that there is a God involved in our lives.

For example, we know that the Middle East is the spot that Christ will return to and save us from ourselves in an event known as the battle of Armageddon.  So, whenever we see news from the Middle East, we must keep our eyes on those events in the light and knowledge and understanding of the Bible.  We know that the Bible predicts the revival of the fourth beast of Daniel (Daniel 2:40) and that beast is the Holy Roman Empire (Revelation Chapter 13), most likely under the leadership of Germany (Isaiah chapter 8 and Hosea 9:3). We know this because we know the identity of Germany is Assyria.

The End Times

The Bible says that in the end time the beast will be from Assyria.  We also know that the end time beast will be a 10-nation revival of the Holy Roman Empire, and since we know that France and the Netherlands are really part of lost Israel, they can never be leaders in this union. Just like in World War II, they will be conquered by the beast, but they will never be the beast.

We also know from the Bible that eventually the entire Arab world will be ruled by an end time beast Antichrist figure called the King of the South in Daniel.  The leader of Europe is also Antichrist figure called the King of the North, and he gets his power from a world religious leader that is based in Rome (Rev. 17:9). I’m sorry if I offend, but there really isn’t any other way to understand the prophecies of Revelation and the book of Daniel. I am not alone. Martin Luther, and all of the early Protestant leaders believed the very same thing that I do.   Therefore, we can better understand why George Washington, in his famous farewell speech called for America to stay out of European affairs because he understood fully that Europe was a danger to America.

So, friends, any news that does not include God in it is really folly.  News that only tells you what happened yesterday and doesn’t tell you why it happened or what will happen tomorrow, doesn’t do you any good.  It’s a total waste of your time.  It’s much like a farmer that depends on the weather forecasts from the day before and what it is doing in the present, but not understanding what the weather will be like tomorrow!  That kind of weather forecasting does you no good, and neither does news without the knowledge of God in it.

In our second story in the new topic, The Hidden Meaning in Many Songs, Movies and Books, we come to 'Amazing Grace', that so-called "Sunday" gospel classic. The story behind this song is truly amazing indeed.

Many are probably not familiar with the song's history, but the rest of the story behind this tune was that it was written almost two and a half centuries ago in 1772 by an Englishman named John Newton. Knowing the story of John Newton and the journey he went through before writing the hymn will help you to understand the depth of his words and his gratefulness for God's truly amazing grace.

Having lived through a rather unfortunate and troubled childhood (his mother passed away when he was just six years old), Newton spent years fighting against authority, going so far as trying to desert the Royal Navy in his twenties. Later, abandoned by his crew in West Africa, he was forced to be a slave to a slave trader but was eventually rescued. On the return voyage to England, a severe storm hit and almost sank the ship prompting Newton to begin his spiritual conversion as he cried out to God to save them all from the storm.

Ironically, upon his return to England, Newton became a slave ship master, a profession in which he served for several years. Bringing slaves from Africa to England over multiple trips, he admitted to sometimes treating the slaves abhorrently. In 1754, after becoming violently ill on a sea voyage, Newton abandoned the slave trade, and seafaring, altogether, wholeheartedly devoting his life to God's service.

He was ordained as an Anglican priest in 1764 and became quite popular as a preacher and hymn writer, penning some 280 hymns, among them the great "Amazing Grace," which first appeared in the Olney Hymns, printed by Newton and poet/fellow writer William Cowper. It was later set to the popular tune NEW BRITAIN in 1835 by William Walker.

In later years, Newton fought alongside William Wilberforce, leader of the parliamentary campaign to abolish the African slave trade. He described the horrors of the slave trade in a tract he wrote supporting the campaign and lived to see the British Passage of the Slave Trade Act 1807.

And now, we see the lyrics such as these by Newton...

I once was lost,
but now am found,
Was blind
but now I see.

and

Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come.
'Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

...carry a much deeper meaning than a sinner's mere gratitude. Close to death at various times and blind to the reality of and for others, Newton would most assuredly not have written "Amazing Grace" if not for his tumultuous past. And many of us would then be without these lovely words that so aptly describe our own relationship with Christ and our reliance on God's grace in our lives:

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.

Modern interpretation:

Those who have read Harriet Beecher Stowe's classic African American novel, Uncle Tom's Cabin, may remember that Tom sings three verses of "Amazing Grace," including one verse not written by Newton which is now traditionally sung as the final verse:

When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise,
Then when we first begun.

 There is a movie named, "Newton's Grace" that tells the story of the man.  It is a very good biographical movie that although a low budget film, will find you truly admiring this man of God.    

 John Newton's tombstone reads:

"John Newton, once an infidel and libertine, a servant of slaves in Africa, was, by the rich mercy of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, preserved, restored, pardoned, and appointed to preach the faith he had long labored to destroy!" "By the grace of God, I am what I am!" 1 Corinthians 15:10

What is Socialism? Socialism is the liberal name for communism, and it is the most dangerous ideology ever proposed by man. Not one good thing comes from communism as it begets dictators, famines, food shortages and DEATH!  

In Daniel 11, speaking about the End Time Beast (the Revised Holy Roman Empire) God predicts that communism will be the antichrist's form of government.  Below, I point out what the Bible has to say about the end time Beast of Revelation which will be led by Antichrist.  It appears the man mentioned in scripture will tout communism with the full intention of fooling the masses. The end goal will be a dictatorship like that of Mao of China, or Stalin of Russia.  

A word of caution for today ~ do not be fooled by liberal socialists for they are the evil doers THAT REALLY WANT YOU DEAD! They will accomplish this through their wars, through their planned famines, and diseases.  Let us try to learn from our history and take heed to what our God says in the Bible!

Stalin was unpleasantly surprised by the strength of Ukrainian patriotism and the emergence of a non-Bolshevik Ukrainian state, which forced the Bolsheviks to create their own puppet Ukrainian republic. Following the Bolshevik victory, it became a constituent part of the Soviet Union under the name of the Ukrainian Socialist Soviet (after 1937, Soviet Socialist) Republic.

Stalin also dreaded the Ukrainian peasantry, whose staunch resistance to Bolshevik rule forced the Soviet state during the 1920s to recognize the importance of Ukrainian culture and delay the violent collectivization of agriculture. When the wholesale collectivization of land and cattle began in 1929, the Ukrainian peasants actively resisted it. In 1930, the police reported 4,098 anti-state actions in the Ukrainian countryside, with the participation of 965,587 peasants. In most cases the peasants beat up the enforcers, took back the grain, and burned office buildings, but the police also classified 15 mass disturbances as “armed rebellions” sometimes involving the murder of Soviet officials and activists.

Because of these factors, in 1932–33, Stalin and his henchmen used starvation to crush the resistance of the Ukrainian peasants. (Washington D.C.) Japan’s massive, multi-billion F-35 acquisition seems to be a development of enormous consequence when it comes to the question of deterring China or destroying any kind of fast-evolving People’s Liberation Army Navy attack on Taiwan.

The large Japanese buy, put in place earlier this year, will place large numbers of F-35Bs and F-35As within striking range of waters near Taiwan. These aircraft, particularly when combined with or networked to forward positioned US F-35s launching from amphibs or carriers, could “mass” a 5th-generation force of great consequence in the event of an attempted Chinese takeover.

“While here, the 354th AEW will integrate with U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning IIs assigned to III Marine Expeditionary Force to strengthen partnerships and enhance joint capabilities,” the Indo Pacific-Command paper said.

This kind of air-surface synergy would be of extreme value in any kind of military engagement in the Pacific, because while an America-class amphibious assault ship can operate as many as 13 F-35Bs, an ability to reinforce a maritime presence of 5th-generation platforms with land-launched F-35s would offer a combat multiplying for both US and Japanese forces. In the past, I have written much concerning the last Day of the 7-Day Feast of Tabernacles, a time of great joy and “vacation” for the members of God's Church. The Feast week symbolizes the 1,000-year reign of Christ on earth known as the Millennium. During this time, we leave home and dwell in booths (temporary dwellings) for seven days, to teach us that we are strangers and pilgrims on this earth, looking forward to a New Heavens and New Earth. Today is yet another Holy day. It is known as the 8^th Day of the Feast, but in all reality, it is a separate holiday called THE LAST GREAT DAY, and this day has a very important message. It is called in the Bible a special Sabbath Day. It is to be treated as any Sabbath. We are not to work, and we are to hold a sacred church service. Leviticus 23:36, 39, . . . “on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly [margin: "day of restraint"]; and ye shall do no servile work therein . . . on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.”

Exodus 23:14-17 states , “Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto Me in the year . . . the feast of unleavened bread . . . the feast of harvest, the firstfruits [Pentecost] of thy labors, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the [agricultural, civil] year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.”

In the New Testament, we read: "In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive . . . ." Jesus chose this day because it has great significance in the plan of God and the salvation of mankind and our rebirth as members into the God Family!

Yesterday, the last day of the feast is the forerunner of Revelation 20:11-15, "And I saw a great white throne, and Him that sat on it, . . . And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

During the Last Great Day of the Feast we are to visualize God THE FATHER leaving heaven, and moving His throne to earth to live here with us! We are not going to heaven- Heaven is coming to us! In Revelation 21: “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a beautiful bride prepared for her husband. I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, "Look, the home of God is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God (the Father) himself will be with them. He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. For the old world and its evils are gone forever." ”

Yes, there is a paradise coming. It is a paradise on earth, where we are to live with God (Jesus and the Father) for all eternity, as actual members of the God Family.

I am sure you have heard or perhaps watched shows devoted to so-called "Bible codes". This is where mathematical rabbis find hidden messages in the Bible using computer programs and are making some outstanding claims about these messages. The subject of "Bible codes" IS NOT what today's article is about. Instead of Biblical codes that are almost impossible for anyone in the real world to discover, we are going to set forth on a journey together and discover possibly the strangest and most important Biblical code of all time. Is it possible there could be a "hidden message" right before your very eyes?  You may find this to be one of the most eye opening writings you have ever read about God, the Bible, and Jesus.

If I wrote these words: “The lawn, has long since died” in some foreign language and it was translated into English: “The lawn has died long ago” nobody would see that as much of a problem. Even to the most observant student the missing comma would not be important at all. The reason for this is because it simply isn't needed in the english translation. Now let me throw in a variable. Let's pretend in this make believe foreign language that the “comma” was an important symbol to the writer unlike in English where the comma is only used in the formation of sentence structure. Perhaps to the writer it was a symbol for poison! Then the sentence would be translated, “The lawn was poisoned and died long ago.” The message I am trying to convey is that we may have right in front of our eyes, clues (symbols) to hidden messages that God placed in the Bible long ago. Would you be shocked to know there are actual symbols in the original writings of the Bible that have not been translated at all and therefore are not included in the translations of scripture we read every day?   We are talking about symbols that have such significant meaning that they communicate the TRUE identity of God! It is clear to me that to acknowledge these symbols would actually change everyone's perspective not only of God and the Bible, but man's role in understanding His mind and the things He deems are important for us to know about Him.

Someone once asked me, "Bob how can you say in one breath that God has little to nothing to do with this world, yet then say that the USA one of the lost nations of Israel? I am quite sure that many have asked themselves the same question and let me assure you that there is an easy answer! God was totally involved in our world in the days of Adam and Eve. He (One of the divine Godhead that became Jesus) personally walked with them, talked with them and instructed them how to live in a godly lifestyle and have life forever. God had every intention to be involved in our lives from the start, just as any human parent has those same plans with their children.

Then sin entered the world through Adam and Eve’s disobedience of God’s Laws. Remember there is only one biblical definition of sin. "Sin is the transgression of the law." (1 John 3:4) Without the law, one cannot sin! (Romans 3:20 and Romans 7:7) When Adam and Eve broke God’s laws, they sinned. The Bible also gives us another term: "The wages (or penalty) of sin is death." ( Rom 6:23) Therefore breaking the laws of God, brings death! Therefore, Adam’s sin brought death to mankind.

Something that stands for something else by reason of relationship, association, resemblance; a visible sign of something invisible. The lion is a symbol of courage.

Theologically, it is of immense importance; Genesis only 5 words are given to the creation of billions of galaxies.

Gen. 1:16, “He made the stars also.”

The Tabernacle was situated right in the middle of the Israelite encampment. When the Tabernacle was set up, the nation of Israel surrounded it. Three tribes set up their tents to the North, three to the South, three to the East, and three to the West.

And right in the middle of them all was God’s tent… His tabernacle.

But even when the people moved from place to place and the tabernacle had to be torn down and moved, EVEN THEN, God’s Tabernacle was the center of His people.

Italy is swing back to sane conservative government because of economics and illegal migration. Sound familiar? 

Footage of Italy’s soon-to-be first female prime minister Giorgia Meloni went viral on social media Monday, and it’s clear from listening to her that she’s preaching against the far-left status quo.

“Why is the family an enemy? Why is the family so frightening?” Meloni asked in the now-viral video shared across almost all social media platforms. “There is a single answer to all these questions: because it defines us, because it is our identity, because everything that defines us is now an enemy for those who would like us to no longer have an identity and to simply be perfect consumer slaves.”

Meloni continued to note that these elites attack national, religious, gender, and family identity as a means of cultivating the human race into “the perfect slave” society “at the mercy of financial speculators.” Her stance is quite the opposite, returning the value of individual human beings as parts of families, communities and nations, and not as a conglomerate of numbers manipulated to support macro-consumerism that places wealth in the hands of a few.

In the Netherlands, the same threat to globalist has been gaining speed for many years now.

“Politicians from nearly all the established parties currently encourage Islamisation. They applaud every new Islamic school, every Islamic bank and every new Islamic court. They consider the Islam to be equal to our own culture. Islam or freedom? They don’t really find that important. But we do think it is important. The whole establishment, the elites – the universities, churches, trade unions, the media and politicians – are putting our hard fought for liberties on the line.”

This quote is from Geert Wilders, the leader of the radical-right Party for Freedom (PVV) in the Netherlands. Although many observers are surprised by the rise of radical-right parties in a progressive country such as the Netherlands, we would claim that developments in the Netherlands are actually very representative for broader trends in (Western) Europe: the rise of nativism, most explicitly articulated by, yet not restricted to, radical right-wing parties.

In public opinion and scholarship alike, the increasing success of such right-wing parties have been understood in terms of a  “resurgence of nationalism.” This interpretation makes sense as radical-right parties across Europe are indeed clearly nationalistic. Take the following quote of Wilders: “Our history compels us to fight a battle that is not an option but a necessity. After all this is a battle for the […] survival of the Netherlands as a recognisable nation; a country, that is about to say goodbye to its ancient roots in exchange for multiculturalism, cultural relativism and an European super state, all under the leadership of a self-satisfied political elite that has long lost the plot."  The territorial entity (“the Netherlands”) should be “Dutch” by nature. Or as Wilders frames it somewhat tautological in the following quote, as preserving the “Dutch character” of the Netherlands: “What this cabinet was especially good at was ramping up mass immigration, the support of Islamisation and hollowing out the Dutch character of the Netherlands.

Liberals in Italy and Europe are largely unhappy with Meloni’s right-wing political views, with many claiming she’s a fascist for opposing adoption by same-sex couples and being largely pro-life while not having any plans to cut access to abortion. She has also promised to defend Italy’s borders against a flood of illegal immigration that has overwhelmed Southern Italy.

However, her stance on globalism and macro-globalization taking “real power away from the people to supranational entities headed by supposedly enlightened elites,” is making her a fan-favorite far beyond her voter base, all the way to here in the U.S.

The Day of Atonement just ended, so what comes next in God's Holy day Schedule?  It's a week-long celebration of feasting and fun called Tabernacles, or tents...  It when God's people were told to live in temporary tents for 8 days.  Why? You may ask.  The reason is that this celebration is central to the message Jesus brought forth!

Isaiah 53

THE SUFFERING CHRIST:

            The part of Isaiah not usually read by Jews today. It is about the suffering Christ.

1 Who has believed our message? To whom has the LORD(Jesus)'s power been revealed?

                        The answer to this is Christians. JOHN 12:38   Romans 10:16

2 He grew up in his presence like a tender green shoot, sprouting from a root in dry ground. There was nothing beautiful or majestic about His appearance, nothing to attract us to Him.

                        Jesus was ordinary looking! In fact, people could not pick him out in a crowd. Even though he taught everyday in the Temple, the High Priest needed Judas to point Jesus out to the soldiers! He was that ordinary          looking!

3 He was despised and rejected. A man of sorrows, familiar with suffering. He was despised like one from whom people turn their faces, and we didn't consider Him to be worth anything.

                        Jews today, claim their Messiah would come as a king. This shows that he was to come like Jesus        did! Adam his his face from Jesus, so did the Jews, so do many today!  Matthew 27:30    Hebrews 4:15                John 1:10

4 He certainly has taken upon himself our suffering and carried our sorrows, but we thought that God(Elohim/Theos) had wounded Him, beat Him, and punished Him.

                        The Jews believed him to be a sinner, beat him and killed him.  Matthew 8:17     1 Peter 2:24

                        literally, "But yet He hath taken (or borne) our sicknesses," that is, they who despised Him because of His human infirmities ought rather to have esteemed Him on account of them; for thereby "Himself took           OUR infirmities" (bodily diseases). So Matthew 8:17quotes it. In the Hebrew for "borne," or took, there is probably the double notion, He took on Himself vicariously (so Isaiah 53:5Isaiah 53:6Isaiah 53:8Isaiah       53:12 ), and so He took away; His perfect humanity whereby He was bodily afflicted for us, and in all our       afflictions ( Isaiah 63:9, Hebrews 4:15) was the ground on which He cured the sick; so that Matthew's          quotation is not a mere accommodation. See Note 42 of ARCHBISHOP MAGEE, Atonement. The Hebrew        there may mean to overwhelm with darkness; Messiah's time of darkness was temporary (Matthew 27:45),       answering to the bruising of His heel; Satan's is to be eternal, answering to the bruising of his head (compare          Isaiah 50:10). 
                        carried . . . sorrows--The notion of substitution strictly. "Carried," namely, as a burden. "Sorrows,"     that is, pains of the mind; as "griefs" refer to pains of the body ( Psalms 32:10, 38:17). Matthew 8:17might       seem to oppose this: "And bare our sicknesses." But he uses "sicknesses" figuratively for sins, the cause of             them. Christ took on Himself all man's "infirmities;" so as to remove them; the bodily by direct miracle,           grounded on His participation in human infirmities; those of the soul by His vicarious suffering, which did      away with the source of both. Sin and sickness are ethically connected as cause and effect ( Isaiah 33:24,     Psalms 103:3, Matthew 9:2, John 5:14, 5:15). (Jamieson)

5 He was pierced for our lawlessness. He was crushed for our sins. He was punished so that we could have peace.  He was whipped, and {by His wounds} we were healed!

                        He was killed because of sin. Sin is the breaking of the Law! Christ did not come to take away the       Law, but to take away the punishment for breaking the Law. The Law is still in force and always be – we are   freed from the PENALTY of sin.   Romans 4:25  1 Peter 2:24

                        -a bodily wound; not mere mental sorrow; literally, "pierced" as I used here; minutely appropriate to   Messiah, whose hands, feet, and side were pierced ( Psalms 22:16). The Margin, wrongly, from a Hebrew        root, translates, "tormented."

6 We have all strayed like sheep. Each one of us has turned to go his own way, and the LORD(Jesus) has laid all our sins on Him.

                        We are all sinners (1 John).  In fact, if we say we have no sin, we are liars and the truth is not in us!    Why is there suffering today? This is the answer. We have all gone our own way, a way opposite of God's Way           (HIS LAW). And death and sorrow is our reward! Christ came to pay off this debt-with His blood. In         2 Corinthians 5:21; He was not merely a sin offering (which would destroy the antithesis to   "righteousness"), but "sin for us"; sin itself vicariously; the representative of the aggregate sin of all    mankind; not sins in the plural, for the "sin" of the world is one ( Romans 5:16Romans 5:17); thus we are      made not merely righteous, but righteousness, even "the righteousness of God." The innocent was punished        as if guilty, that the guilty might be rewarded as if innocent. This verse could be said of no mere martyr.

7 He was abused and punished, yet He never said a word! He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. He was like a sheep that is silent when its wool is cut off.

                                    He is our Passover lamb!            John 19:9

8 He was arrested, taken away, and judged. Who would have thought that He would be removed from the world? He was killed because of my people's sins.

                        Matthew 27:11-25    removed from the world-- He is in Heaven

                        Acts 8:33; translate as the Septuagint: "In His humiliation His judgment (legal trial) was taken          away"; the virtual sense of the Hebrew as rendered by LOWTH and sanctioned by the inspired writer of Acts; He was treated as one so mean that a fair trial was denied Him ( Matthew 26:5914:55-59). HORSLEY     translates, "After condemnation and judgment He was accepted."

9 He was laid in a tomb like a criminal. He was put there with the rich when He died, although He had done nothing violent and had never spoken a lie.

                        Christ fulfilled this by dying (by crucifying Him with two thieves, Matthew 27:38)  and being buried in a rich man's unused tomb; his uncle two rich men honored Him at His death, Joseph of Arimathæa. Christ  never lied, only truth was in Him. The Devil is a liar and no truth is in him.

10Yet it pleased theLORD(Jesus) to punish Him with suffering. 

When YOU{God the father} make His life a sacrifice for our wrongdoings, He will have a multitude of children, many heirs. The will of the LORD(Jesus) will succeed through Him.

                        They were voluntarily borne by Messiah, in order that thereby He might "do Jehovah's will" ( John      6:38 , Hebrews 10:7Hebrews 10:9), as to man's redemption; so at the end of the verse, "the pleasure of the     LORD shall prosper in His hand."

                        The Margin rightly makes the prophet in the name of Yahweh Himself to speak in this verse.

11When He sees all that is accomplished by His anguish, He will be satisfied. And because of what He has experienced, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for He will bear all their sins.

                        Yahwehis still speaking according to Jamieson. my . . . servant--Messiah ( Isaiah 42:1, 52:13).

12 So I will give Him a share among the mighty, and He will divide the prize with the strong, because He poured out His life(soul-nephesh) in death and He was counted with  the sinners. He carried the sins of many. He intercedes for those who are lawless {sinners}.

                        IN DEATH-- Jesus died, just as we do. His soul DIED! The word here in Hebrew is nephesh, translated “soul” by the KJV. The same word used in Genesis chapter 1 “and man became a living soul-nephesh.  The best translation for nephesh is a living being- and when speaking of death, the best translation is dead being, or as I translated this here “his life in death.” If not for the power of the FATHER and the resurrection, Christ would still be in the grave awaiting the resuurection of the dead. We see later that ONLY Christ, thus far, has been “born again,” or resurrected from the dead. All of the rest of mankind are still in their graves sleeping! See 1 Corinthians 15.

                        Isaiah 53 plainly speaks of the suffering Messiah – and only Jesus Christ fulfilled this prophecy- HE IS OUR LORD and SAVIOR.
