Using just the Bible I can’t go any further with this timetable. At least not yet. If I can someday determine exactly how many years elapsed from the time the Jews were freed from their captivity in Babylon (3441 A.A.)—until the decree to rebuild Jerusalem (see Dan. 9:25 and Neh. 2:5-20)—then I would be able to proceed much further. How could I accomplish this? Well, according to the 70-weeks prophecy given in Dan. 9:24-27 there would be 69 weeks between the time the decree was given to rebuild Jerusalem until the time of the Messiah. And at the end of the 69 weeks the Messiah—Jesus Christ—would be killed (verses 25 & 26). We know that Jesus Christ was killed around the year 32 A.D. We also know that 69 weeks is equivalent to 483 days (69 weeks x 7 days each = 483 days). Then using the day-for-a-year principle that is common in Bible prophecy—we come to precisely 483 years. Now, if we subtract 483 years from 32 A.D. we come to the year 452 B.C. (we add 1 extra year since between 1 B.C. and 1 A.D. there was only 1 year and NOT 2 years—there was no year 0). This means that in the year 452 B.C. the decree to rebuild Jerusalem went out (Neh. 2:5, 7, 9). But how many years after Adam did this occur?

If I only knew how many years elapsed between the release of the Jews from Babylon (in 3441 A.A.) until the decree to rebuild Jerusalem (in 452 B.C.) I could continue with this timetable up until 32 A.D.! And then of course—since I would know how many years had elapsed between Adam and 32 A.D.—I would know precisely how many years had passed from the creation of Adam and Eve up until this very day! And then once I had this information I would know exactly when the end of man’s 6000-year reign on this earth would come to an end! But like I said previously—I do NOT have that missing link. But perhaps that missing link is hidden somewhere in the Bible. So until I get more information this is as far as I can go.

Though I can’t continue this timetable any further (by using the Bible) the following page does continue the timetable by using the dates given by several different sources—as to when they think the Jews were released from their Babylonian captivity. Also my thoughts are listed just to give the reader a reference point as to when Christ might possibly return.

Based on the above sources the range of Christ’s projected return would be somewhere between 2021 and 2033.

** According to Mat. 24:22 the 6,000 years will be cut short—otherwise man would exterminate himself off the face of this planet. God has given humanity 6,000 years to destroy himself—if that is his inclination. And it is! Mankind will assemble together 200 million soldiers (Rev. 9:16) to accomplish just that. But immediately before we succeed in committing global genocide Jesus Christ will return to this earth to save us from ourselves! Therefore, instead of us coming to exactly 6,000 years—which would be the end of the human race—God will send His Son immediately before this sixth millennium comes to a close. Almost certainly this will occur in the fall of the preceding year—on the Day of Trumpets—since this particular Holy Day pictures the literal return of Jesus Christ to this planet. MAY GOD SPEED THAT DAY!

ONE FINAL WARNING TO THE READER

So when will Christ be returning? I don’t know and neither does anyone else. It could be sooner than the date that I listed (2027) or it could be later than this date. I just listed this particular date as a reference point to help the reader better understand this chronological timetable of mankind. Only God knows for sure when this event will take place, but hopefully it will be even earlier than 2027, because the sooner—the better!

Will you and I be ready? I sincerely hope so! Let’s do our best to see that we are! “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Surely I am coming quickly.’ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” (Rev. 22:20).

THE BEAST

= Antichrist = King of the North = Man of Sin

Beast— In the book of Revelation a BEAST is described that will wreak havoc on an unsuspecting world in the end- time (Revelation 13). This BEAST both represents an organization (a revived “Holy” Roman Empire) and its end-time LEADER (the Antichrist). This organization will consist of TEN European heads of state who will soon unite their domains to form a United States of Europe. They will then give up their sovereignty to just one man—the Antichrist! (Revelation 17:12-13; 1 John 2:18)

This beastly ruler (the Antichrist) is also described as “the man of sin” and the “lawless one” in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12, as well as the “king of the North” in Daniel 11:35- 45.

1 John 2:18 — Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard...the Antichrist [the BEAST] is coming...

Daniel 11:35-45 — And some of those of understanding shall fall, to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the END; because it is still for the appointed time. “Then THE KING [OF THE NORTH] shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify HIMSELF above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt HIMSELF above them all. But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things. Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god, which he shall acknowledge, and advance its glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, and divide the land for gain. At the time of the END the king of the South shall attack him; and THE KING OF THE NORTH shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through. He shall also enter the Glorious Land [Israel], and many countries shall be overthrown; but these shall escape from his hand: Edom, Moab, and the prominent people of Ammon. He shall stretch out his hand against the countries, and the land of EGYPT shall not escape. He shall have power over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the precious things of EGYPT; also the LIBYANS and ETHIOPIANS shall follow at his heels. But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many. And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and no one will help him.”

2 Thessalonians 2:3-12 — Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and THE MAN OF SIN [i.e. THE BEAST; THE ANTICHRIST; THE KING OF THE NORTH] is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. And then THE LAWLESS ONE will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. The coming of THE LAWLESS ONE is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Revelation 13:1-18 — Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw abeast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast;and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast?Who is able to make war with him?” And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If anyone has an ear, let him hear. He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. Then I saw another beast[the false prophet: see Revelation 16:13, 19:29, 20:10 = the end-time pope!] coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. [NLT:] And with all the miracles he was allowed to perform on behalf of the first beast, he deceived all the people who belong to this world. He ordered the people of the world to make a GREAT STATUE of the first beast, WHO WAS FATALLY WOUNDED AND THEN CAME BACK TO LIFE. He was permitted to give life to this STATUE so that it could speak.Then the statue commanded that anyone refusing to worship it must die. He required everyone—great and small, rich and poor, slave and free—to be given a mark on the right hand or on the forehead.And no one could buy or sell anything without that MARK, WHICH WAS EITHER THE NAME OF THE BEAST OR THE NUMBER REPRESENTING HIS NAME.[LB:] Here is a puzzle that calls for careful thought to solve it. Let those who are able, interpret this code [to figure out the name of the BEAST]: the numerical values of the letters in his name add to 666!

Revelation 3:18 — GNT — ...the number stands for the name of someone.Its number is 666.

Revelation 3:18 — NEB — ...The number represents a man’s name [such as “Roman”], and the numerical value of its letters is 666.

There’s a very good chance that the name of the BEAST will be “ROMAN.” Why “ROMAN”? Because “ROMAN,” when translated into the Greek language (the language that the New Testament was written in) can be translated as “LATEINOS.” In the Greek: L is 30, A is 1, T is 300, E is 5, I is 10, N is 50, O is 70, and S is 200. Add them up and what do you get? 666! But not only does this name add up to 666, but the name “ROMAN” would also represent the GOVERNMENTthat the Antichrist will lead in the end-time—a revived “Holy”Roman Empire! But not only that, but it would also represent the great false CHURCH that will be working hand-in-hand with the BEAST—the Roman Catholic Church! So don’t be surprised if “ROMAN” is indeed the name of the BEAST!

Revelation 11:7 — When they [the two end-time witnesses of God] finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them.

Revelation 14:9-11 — Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image [statue], and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be TORMENTED WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. AND THE SMOKE OF THEIR TORMENT ASCENDS FOREVER AND EVER; AND THEY HAVE NO REST DAY OR NIGHT, who worship the beast and his image [statue], and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

Revelation 15:2 — And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who have the victory over the beast, over hisimage [statue] and over his mark and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having harps of God.

Revelation 16:2 — So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had themark of the beast and those who worshiped his image [statue].

Revelation 16:10 — Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain.

Revelation 16:13 — And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast,and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

Revelation 17:3 — So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a WOMAN sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

Seven Kings / Eight Kings

Revelation 17:7-11 — NLT — “Why are you so amazed?” the angel asked. “I will tell you the mystery of this WOMAN and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns. The beast you saw was alive but isn’t now. And yet he will soon come up out of the bottomless pit and go to eternal destruction. And the people who belong to this world, whose names were not written in the Book of Life from before the world began, will be amazed at the reappearance of this beast who had died. And now understand this: The seven heads of the beast represent the seven hills of the city [Rome] where this WOMAN [THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH] rules. They also represent seven kings. Five kings have already fallen [by the first century A.D. five beastly kings/kingdoms had already come and gone: Babylonian Empire; Mede & Persian Empire; Greek & Macedonian Empire], the sixth now reigns [the Roman Empire in the first century—since this Scripture was written around 96 A.D.], and the seventh is yet to come [the final beastly king/kingdom who will appear in the end-time], but his reign will be brief. [GNT:] And the [seventh] beast that was once alive, but lives no longer [for he was killed], is itself an eighth king [because he will come back to life!] who is [also] one of the seven [for he was the seventh] and is going off to be destroyed [by Jesus Christ at His return].”

Revelation 17:18 — NLT — “And this woman you saw in your vision represents the great city [Rome] that rules over the kings of the earth.”

Revelation 17:12-13 —The ten horns which you saw are TEN KINGS who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.

Revelation 17:16-17 — And the ten horns which you saw on the beast,these will [eventually] hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

Revelation 19:19-20 — And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him [Jesus Christ] who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beastwas captured, and with him the false prophet [the end-time pope] who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image [statue]. THESE TWO WERE CAST ALIVE INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE BURNING WITH BRIMSTONE.

Revelation 20:4 — And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image [statue], and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. AND THEY LIVED AND REIGNED WITH CHRIST FOR A THOUSAND YEARS.

Revelation 20:10 — The devil, who deceived them, was CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE AND BRIMSTONE where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be TORMENTED DAY AND NIGHT FOREVER AND EVER.

Daniel 8:23-25 — “And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their fullness, A KING SHALL ARISE, having fierce features, who understands sinister schemes. His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; he shall destroy fearfully, and shall prosper and thrive; he shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people. Through his cunning he shall cause deceit to prosper under his rule; and he shall exalt himself in his heart. He shall destroy many in their prosperity. HE SHALL EVEN RISE AGAINST THE PRINCE OF PRINCES [i.e. Jesus Christ at His return]; BUT HE SHALL BE BROKEN WITHOUT HUMAN MEANS [i.e. by Jesus Christ Himself].

Great Harlot = Roman Catholic Church!

Revelation 17:1-7 — Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot [the Roman Catholic Church] who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beastwhich was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints [the true servants of God] and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement. But the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.”

Revelation 17:9 — “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains [or hills] on which the woman sits.” [Rome is famous for its seven hills.]

Revelation 17:15-17 — Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the HARLOT [Roman Catholic Church] sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will [eventually] hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

Revelation 17:18 — NLT — “And this woman [the Roman Catholic Church] you saw in your vision represents the great city [Rome] that rules over the kings of the earth.”

Daniel 7:8-22 — “I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.... I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame.... Then I wished to know the truth about the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, with its teeth of iron and its nails of bronze, which devoured, broke in pieces, and trampled the residue with its feet; and the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up, before which three fell, namely, that horn which had eyes and a mouth which spoke pompous words, whose appearance was greater than his fellows. I was watching; and THE SAME HORN WAS MAKING WAR AGAINST THE SAINTS, AND PREVAILING AGAINST THEM, until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.”

Daniel 7:24-25 — The ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; He shall be different from the first ones, and shall subdue three kings. He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time.

America, on September 11th of this year we all woke up to the most horrendous terrorist act to occur on USA soil in the history of our beloved nation. We were attacked by crazed terrorists in sudden and terrible fashion, causing the destruction and death of many. But America, how will we respond? How will we react to this horrible attack? Will we be jolted out of our deep sleep—our complacency—to really do something about it, to really do what it will take to guarantee that something like this never happens again? Or will we continue to slumber to what is really occurring to our cherished nation?

We have to wake up America, and wake up soon! Because unless we do so, we will suffer dearly. For the only way that we can ever prevent future attacks from occurring is if God is on our side! For if God is for us we shall prosper, but if God is against us (like Sodom and Gomorrah) we shall be destroyed!

America, we need to wake up! We need to REPENT! We need to repent of the horrible practice of abortion—of butchering thousands of innocent little babies each day under the Satanic guise of “the ‘right’ to choose.” America, as long as we continue to think that we have the “right” to kill thousands of innocent little babies in our country each day, then God will continue to allow terrorists to think that they have the “right” to kill thousands of innocent adults. America, we need to be “pro-life” and not “pro-death.” Because as long as we feel we have the “right” to kill others, then others will feel that they have the “right” to kill us. What is it going to be America—life or death? Because if we continue to choose death for our little ones, then God will continue to allow others to choose death for us!

America, we need to REPENT! We need to repent of our hideous sexual practices. For as long as we continue to think that we have the “right” to destroy our bodies and minds through perverted sexual practices, then God will continue to allow terrorists to think that they have the “right” to destroy our buildings and institutions. And as long as we continue to give individuals the “right” to openly practice and promote vile sexual abominations, then God will continue to allow others to think that they have the “right” to openly promote and practice the downfall and destruction of America.

ANGELS

Biblical Angels look nothing like what people think they look like!

Angels — Angels are spirit beings that God created even before He created the universe (as the Bible mentions in Job 38:1-7 that they shouted for joy at its creation). They are “messengers” of God and do His will. The two most powerful angels mentioned in the Bible are the archangels Michael and Gabriel (Jude 1:9; Luke 1:19). Angels are in heaven (Revelation 5:11-12) but are sometimes sent to earth to aid God’s people (Daniel 9:21-23).

Job 38:1-7 — Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said: “Who is this who darkens counsel by words without knowledge? Now prepare yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer Me. Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding. Who determined its measurements? Surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it? To what were its foundations fastened? Or who laid its cornerstone, when the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?”

Jude 1:9 — Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”

Revelation 12:7-12 — And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who DECEIVES the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels [demons] were cast out with him. Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the ACCUSER of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

Luke 1:19 — And the angel answered and said to him, “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings.”

Luke 1:26-28 — Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David.

Daniel 8:16-17 — And I heard a man's voice between the banks of the Ulai, who called, and said, “Gabriel, make this man understand the vision.” So he came near where I stood, and when he came I was afraid and fell on my face; but he said to me, “Understand, son of man, that the

vision refers to the time of the end.”

Daniel 9:21-23 — yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, “O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you skill to understand. At the beginning of your sup- plications the command went out, and I have come to tell you, for you are greatly beloved; therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision.”

Daniel 10:11-21 — And he [Gabriel?] said to me, “O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” While he was speaking this word to me, I stood trembling. Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael [the archangel], one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia. Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision refers to many days yet to come.” When he had spoken such words to me, I turned my face toward the ground and became speechless. And suddenly, one having the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips; then I opened my mouth and spoke, saying to him who stood before me, “My lord, because of the vision my sorrows have overwhelmed me, and I have retained no strength. For how can this servant of my lord talk with you, my lord? As for me, no strength remains in me now, nor is any breath left in me.” Then again, the one having the likeness of a man touched me and strengthened me. And he said, “O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!” So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.” Then he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? And now I must return to fight with the prince of Persia; and when I have gone forth, indeed the prince of Greece will come. But I will tell you what is noted in the Scripture of Truth. No one upholds me against these, except Michael your prince.”

Daniel 12:1-4 — “At that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation, even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, some to shame and everlasting contempt. THOSE WHO ARE WISE SHALL SHINE LIKE THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE FIRMAMENT, AND THOSE WHO TURN MANY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS LIKE THE STARS FOREVER AND EVER. “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

Revelation 5:11-12 — Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

Is the mark of the beast a microchip implant that everyone will be forced to have? NO! Is it an international identification card? NO! Is it a global credit card (or debit card)? NO! The mark of the beast is simply the name (or number) of the beast (the end-time antichrist) MARKED on one’s body.

“He required everyone — great and small, rich and poor, slave and free — to be TATTOOED with a certain mark on the right hand or on the forehead” — Rev. 13:16 – TLB. “And no one could buy or sell anything without that MARK, WHICH WAS EITHER THE NAME OF THE BEAST OR THE NUMBER REPRESENTING HIS NAME” (Rev. 13:17 – NLT).

That’s it! It’s that simple! This literal (physical!) mark that is tattooed (or stamped or branded, or in some other way imprinted) on one’s body will be marked on either your RIGHT HAND or on your FOREHEAD. And without it you will not be able to buy or sell.

Okay, so the mark of the beast (i.e. antichrist) is simply a literal, physical mark on the right hand (or forehead) depicting the NAME (or number) of the beast. But what is his name? And what is his number? The number part is easy — 666! (Rev. 13:18).    

A Drexel professor tweeted (just before X-Mas) that the only thing he wanted for X-Mas was “white genocide”! And what did the university do? Virtually NOTHING! How about the media? Virtually NOTHING!

In case you haven’t been paying attention, it’s been open season on white people for some time now. Imagine if this professor had said the same thing about blacks, Muslims, or gays! We would have never heard the end of it. The liberal media would have gone absolutely nuts and would be covering it nonstop for weeks on end. And Drexel would have fired him on the spot! Hate crimes also would have been filed against him and lawsuits threatened. But since he was only talking about white people, they figure, “what’s the big deal? I mean, who really cares?” Then again, I suppose, if he would have said the same thing about Jews or Christians, itprobably would have landed on deaf ears as well.

So, where’s the public outrage? Where are the student protests and demonstrations—demanding that this professor be fired? Oh, that’s right. He was only talking about whites. If he would have said the same thing about blacks, Muslims, or gays, there would be student protests and demonstrations on just about every college campus throughout the country, demanding that he be fired and criminal charges filed against him. But why the deafening silence? Oh, that’s right,he was only talking about whites.

But I must give it to this professor for at least having the courage (or was it stupidity) for tweeting what many liberals secretly think.

Yes, there is a WAR going on in this country. And it’s not just against our men & women in blue. The war is also being fought against white people (not to mention Christians & Jews as well)!

WAKE UP AMERICA! WAKE UP!!!

In the next few years the curtain will be drawn and four men will suddenly appear on the world stage. Two of these men will be good while the other two men will be evil.

In the book of Revelation these two wicked men are called “beasts” (though the 2^nd “beast” is often referred to as “the false prophet”). The two upright men are referred to as “the two witnesses” or “the two prophets.” Astonishingly, ALL four of these men will be able to do incredible, mind-blowing miracles! Two of these men (reminiscent of the ancient prophet Elijah) will even be able to call down fire from heaven, while the other two will strike the earth with terrible droughts and plagues.

While two of these men will be led by God’s Holy Spirit and will be servants of God, the other two men will be led by Satan and possessed by demons (and perhaps even possessed by the Devil himself!).

Two of these men will be respected, loved, and honored by earth’s inhabitants, while the other two men will be hated, despised, and cursed. Eventually two of these men will be killed and the world will rejoice and celebrate their demise.

When these Bible prophecies COME ALIVE in the years just ahead, whose side will you be on? Will you be able to discern the two good guys from the two evil ones? Will you know which two are inspired by God and which two are inspired by Satan? Will you be on the right side of history? Hopefully you will, because those who choose wrongly will eventually be thrown into the lake of fire, while those who choose wisely will be granted eternal life in God’s soon-coming glorious kingdom!

What’s the difference between a Muslim who does atrocious acts of violence and a “Christian” who does similar despicable acts of evil? Simply this: When a Muslim kills a non-Muslim he is OBEYING the teachings of its founder Muhammad (“kill them wherever you find them”--Quran 2:191-193) as well as following in Muhammad’s footsteps (as he killed many who wouldn’t convert to his teachings). But when a “Christian” murders others he is DISOBEYING the teachings of the founder of Christianity Jesus Christ (“love your enemies”--Matt. 5:44), as well as NOT following in Christ’s footsteps (who instead of killing others, gave His life for others). 

So when a Muslim murders nonbelievers, he is a TRUE & GENUINE & FAITHFUL Muslim, since this is what Muhammad both taught and did. 

But when a “Christian” murders others he is a FALSE REPROBATE “Christian”, since this is in direct opposition to both what Jesus taught and did. And those people who do such atrocious deeds are NOT genuine Christians at all. They are just wicked people who simply call themselves “Christians.” That is, they are FALSE, COUNTERFEIT “Christians”!

Many liberals have been bashing Donald Trump and his followers for wanting to build a wall at the Mexican border (in order to keep out drug-traffickers and ILLEGAL aliens–including Muslim terrorists)—even going so far as to label Trump and all his followers as racists and even Nazis. And yet their champions (Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama) voted for the construction of a wall along the Mexican border in 2006! That’s right, they voted in favor of building such a wall! And that wall (at least part of it) has already been built (a barrier stretching about 670 miles — with about 700 more miles in the plan).

The Church Lady (Dana Carvey) "Saturday Night Live" exposing Satan

Have you ever asked yourself the following question: If Jesus was NOT crucified on a Friday (which is indeed the case), then WHY has Satan deceived the world into believing in a Friday crucifixion/Sunday resurrection anyway? I mean, what does he have to gain in propagating this false teaching? And of course, it is certainly the Devil who is behind such delusions. For it is he who is called the “father of lies” (John 8:44), and it is he “who deceives the whole world” (Revelation 12:9). 

So, what does Satan hope to gain in popularizing this false tradition of believing that Jesus was crucified on a Friday anyway? 

Well, for one thing, by getting people to accept this false teaching he has gotten people to DENY that Jesus is truly the Messiah! For it was Christ Himself who said that the ONLY sign that He would give that would PROVE that He was the Messiah was that He would be THREE days & THREE nights (and NOT 2 days and 2 nights) in the heart of the earth (i.e. grave, tomb, ground). 

So, to deny that Christ was 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb is to deny that Jesus is truly the Messiah (since Jesus said that the ONLY sign that He would give to PROVE that He was our Savior was that He would be dead 3 days & 3 nights)! 

Matthew 12:38–40 (NKJV) — “…Teacher, we want to see a sign from You.” But He answered and said to them, “…NO SIGN WILL BE GIVEN TO IT EXCEPT THE SIGN OF THE PROPHET JONAH. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, SO WILL THE SON OF MAN [i.e. Jesus Christ] BE 3 DAYS AND 3 NIGHTS IN THE HEART OF THE EARTH [or grave, or tomb, or ground].” 

And of course, IF Christ was killed on a Friday & then resurrected back to life at sunrise Sunday morning, then that would only be 2 days (the daylight portion of Friday & the daylight portion of Saturday) and only 2 nights (Friday night & Saturday night). But 1 day and 1 night is missing! 

So, Jesus is either an imposter (because He didn’t fulfill the ONLY SIGN that He said would PROVE His Messiahship) or He was NOT crucified on a Friday! 

So, what is the answer? He was NOT crucified on a Friday & He is indeed our Savior! And there are MANY Scriptures that prove this (that Jesus was not killed on a Friday!).

But I think that there just might be a 2nd reason (and a very big reason at that!) why the Devil has deceived the world into believing in a Friday crucifixion/Sunday resurrection. 

If you study the book of Revelation you will notice that in the very end-time a Satan-inspired individual will arise on the world scene. In the book of Revelation this counterfeit Messiah is called the “Beast” (though in 1 John 2:18 he is referred to as “the Antichrist”). This cunning individual will someday be wounded so badly that he will either DIE (which I believe will be the case) or he will come very close to death (see Revelation 13:3, 13:12, 13:14; 17:8—especially the NLT). But, he will make such an absolutely miraculous recovery that the whole world will marvel and be utterly amazed! 

But, what does the Beast (i.e. the Antichrist) have to do with Satan deceiving so many Christians into believing in a Friday crucifixion/Sunday resurrection? Perhaps EVERYTHING! Because if the Beast is indeed killed (and not just severely wounded), perhaps he will be killed on a Friday and then resurrected back to life on a Sunday! That could be why Satan has the Christian world fooled into accepting the false teaching of a Friday death & Sunday resurrection—so that they will think that the Beast (i.e. the Antichrist) is Jesus Christ! 

Perhaps that is why Christ specifically & adamantly stated that the ONLY sign He would give (that would PROVE that He was the Messiah) would be that He would be dead 3 days & 3 nights (NOT 2 days & 2 nights)! He must have realized that in the end-time the Antichrist would also be killed and brought back to life (but that the fake messiah would only be dead for 2 days & 2 nights)!

Revelation 13:14 (NLT) — “And with all the miracles he [the false religious leader] was allowed to perform on behalf of the first beast [i.e. the Antichrist], he deceived all the people who belong to this world. He ordered the people to make a great statue of the first beast [i.e. the Antichrist], WHO WAS FATALLY WOUNDED AND THEN CAME BACK TO LIFE.” 

Revelation 17:8 (NLT) — “…And the people...will be amazed at the REAPPEARANCE OF THIS BEAST [i.e. the Antichrist] WHO HAD DIED.” 

So maybe, just maybe, the Beast (who is also called the Antichrist) will be killed on a Friday and then resurrected back to life on a Sunday! And not only that—but perhaps he will even be killed on “Good Friday” and brought back to life on Easter Sunday! 

YOU’VE BEEN FOREWARNED! DON’T BE FOOLED!

With so many madmen today using guns to commit murder, why don’t we just abolish the 2^nd amendment? Wouldn’t that solve the problem of murder for once and for all? Just think how much safer everyone would be if the government would just outlaw guns and confiscate everyone’s weapons. America would become a near utopia society, right? Violent crime would become a thing of the past! Just think, no more mass shootings at schools, no more mass shootings at churches, and no more murders in the city of Chicago where 762 people were murdered in 2016 alone. Wow, wouldn’t that be wonderful! Or would it?

The 2^nd Amendment of the Constitution of the USA states that “…the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”

Our founding fathers wrote this amendment to the Constitution (as one of 10 amendments contained in the Bill of Rights) in 1791. And the main reason they wrote this amendment was so that the citizens of the United States would be able to protect themselves in case an authoritarian government ever came into power. Not only would we be able to protect ourselves from an oppressive government, but even more importantly, a well-armed citizenry would act as a deterrent from such a government ever forming in the first place.

Just imagine how much easier it would be for a tyrant to rise to power in America if guns were confiscated. But if American citizens are armed to the teeth this scenario is much harder to imagine. And that is the main purpose of the 2^nd Amendment — to protect America’s citizens from tyrants and oppressors who would abolish the Constitution and take away our rights and the freedoms afforded to us in the Bill of Rights.

But, not only would abolishing the 2^nd Amendment make it much easier for a totalitarian government to take over, but it would also be the start of the abolishment of our entire Constitution. Because once you abolish one Amendment, it’s just a matter of time before another Right (such as the right to freedom of speech) falls by the wayside, and then another (such as the freedom of the press), and then another (such as freedom of religion). And before you know it we would not be any better off than North Korea or any other oppressive government among us today.

No, our founding fathers knew what they were doing when they wrote the 2^nd Amendment. And if you think otherwise, then quite frankly, you are being naïve.

Part One: The Past

Judah Exiled to Babylon

It is 602 BC and Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon conquers the Kingdom of Judah. The people of JUDAH are then deported as SLAVES to Babylon — just as God had foretold (2 Kings 24:8-17).

Daniel & His 3 Friends

Among the many Jews taken to Babylon is a young man named Daniel and his three friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. These four young men are very talented — therefore they are selected to serve in the king’s palace (Daniel 1:1-6).

“God gave these four young men an unusual aptitude for learning the literature and science of the time. And God gave Daniel special ability in understanding the meanings of visions and dreams. When the three-year training period ordered by the king was completed, the chief official brought all the young men to King Nebuchadnezzar. The king talked with each of them, and none of them impressed him as much as Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. So, they were appointed to his regular staff of ADVISERS. In all matters requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, the king found the advice of these young men to be ten times better than that of all the magicians and enchanters in his entire kingdom” (Daniel 1:17-20; NLT).

 Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream of a Great Statue

During this time king Nebuchadnezzar has a dream, and he wants the wise men of Babylon to interpret the dream for him. But he also wants them to tell him what he has dreamed! And if they aren’t able to do so, he declares that every single one of them will die!

Fortunately, God reveals the dream and its meaning to Daniel. Daniel then explains the dream and its meaning to Nebuchadnezzar. Daniel tells the king that in his dream he saw an ENORMOUS STATUE: the head of the statue was made of gold, its chest & arms of silver, its belly & thighs of bronze, its lower legs of iron and its feet partly of iron & partly of clay. Then a rock struck the statue on its FEET, which caused the whole statue to crumble. A huge wind then came and swept the pieces away without leaving a trace. The rock then became a huge mountain and filled the entire earth (Daniel 2:1-35).

Daniel Interprets the Dream

Daniel then interprets the dream for Nebuchadnezzar. He tells the king that the head of gold represents him (and his Babylonian Empire); the CHEST & ARMS OF SILVER represent the next empire that would follow his (the MEDO- PERSIAN EMPIRE); the belly & thighs of bronze represent the third kingdom (the Greco-Macedonian Empire); the LOWER LEGS OF IRON represent the fourth kingdom (the ROMAN EMPIRE); and the feet of iron & clay represent the last kingdom (a resurrected Roman Empire in the days just prior to the second coming of Jesus Christ). (Daniel 2:36-43)

Daniel then goes on to explain to Nebuchadnezzar that the Rock that destroyed the statue represents God and His Kingdom; that the Rock (Jesus Christ) would return to earth at the time of this last empire (a revived “Holy Roman Empire” consisting of TEN European nations) to destroy it and all other kingdoms; then Christ would set up the KINGDOM OF GOD on earth — which will last forever! (Daniel 2:44-47; Revelation 17:12-14, 5:10)

Daniel & His 3 Friends Are Promoted

“Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell prostrate before Daniel and paid him honor and ordered that an offering and incense be presented to him. The king said to Daniel, ‘Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this mystery.’ Then the king placed DANIEL in a high position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon [similar to what happened to Joseph in Egypt!] and placed him in charge of all its wise men. Moreover, at Daniel's request the king appointed Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego [i.e. Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah] administrators over the province of Babylon, while Daniel himself remained at the royal court” (Daniel 2:46-49).

Chapter 1

Around 70 Descendants of Jacob (Israel) Had Moved to Egypt with Jacob [in around 1685 B.C.]

1 These are the names of the sons of Israel who came to Egypt with Jacob [that is, Israel]. Each one came with those of his house [NLV]:

² Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah; 

³ Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin; 

⁴ Dan and Naphtali; Gad and Asher. 

⁵ Joseph was already in Egypt. The total number of Jacob’s descendants was 70.

⁶ Eventually, Joseph, all his brothers, and that entire generation died. 

After Many Years, the Israelites Become Very Numerous & the Land is Filled with Them

⁷ But the descendants of Israel had many children. They became so numerous and strong that the land was filled with them.

The Israelites Become Slaves [around 1596 B.C.]

⁸ Then a new king, who knew nothing about Joseph, began to rule in Egypt. 

⁹ He said to his people, “There are too many Israelites, and they are stronger than we are. 

¹⁰ We have to outsmart them, or they’ll increase in number. Then, if war breaks out, they will join our enemies, fight against us, and leave the country.”

¹¹ So the Egyptians put slave drivers in charge of them in order to oppress them through forced labor. They built Pithom and Rameses as supply cities for Pharaoh. 

¹² But the more the Israelites were oppressed, the more they increased in number and spread out. The Egyptians couldn’t stand them any longer. 

¹³ So they forced the Israelites to work hard as slaves.

¹⁴ They made their lives bitter with back-breaking work in mortar and bricks and every kind of work in the fields. All the jobs the Egyptians gave them were brutally hard.

Pharaoh Tells the Midwives to Kill All Hebrew [that is, Israelite] Baby Boys

¹⁵ Then the king of Egypt told the Hebrew midwives, whose names were Shiphrah and Puah, 

¹⁶ “When you help the Hebrew women in childbirth, look at the child when you deliver it. If it’s a boy, kill it, but if it’s a girl, let it live.”

¹⁷ However, the midwives feared Elohim [i.e. God] and didn’t obey the king of Egypt’s orders. They let the boys live. 

¹⁸ So the king of Egypt called for the midwives. He asked them, “Why have you done this? Why have you let the boys live?”

¹⁹ The midwives answered Pharaoh, “Hebrew women are not like Egyptian women. They are so healthy that they have their babies before a midwife arrives.”

²⁰ Elohim [i.e. God] was good to the midwives. So the people increased in number and became very strong. 

²¹ Because the midwives feared Elohim, he gave them families of their own.

Pharaoh Commands that All Newborn Israelite Boys are to be Thrown into the Nile River

²² Then Pharaoh commanded all his people to throw into the Nile every Hebrew boy that was born, but to let every girl live.

Chapter 2

Moses is Born [around 1572 B.C.] & is Thrown into the Nile River, but Pharaoh’s Daughter Rescues Moses & Adopts Him

1 A man from Levi’s family married a Levite woman.

² The woman became pregnant and had a son. She saw how beautiful he was and hid him for three months. 

³ When she couldn’t hide him any longer, she took a basket made of papyrus plants and coated it with tar and pitch. She put the baby in it and set it among the papyrus plants near the bank of the Nile River.

⁴ The baby’s sister [Miriam] stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.

⁵ While Pharaoh’s daughter came to the Nile to take a bath, her servants walked along the bank of the river. She saw the basket among the papyrus plants and sent her slave girl to get it. 

⁶ Pharaoh’s daughter opened the basket, looked at the baby, and saw it was a boy. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. She said, “This is one of the Hebrew children.”

⁷ Then the baby’s sister asked Pharaoh’s daughter, “Should I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?”

⁸ She answered, “Yes!” So the girl brought the baby’s mother.

⁹ Pharaoh’s daughter said to the woman, “Take this child, nurse him for me, and I will pay you.” She took the child and nursed him. 

¹⁰ When the child was old enough, she brought him to Pharaoh’s daughter, and he became her son. Pharaoh’s daughter named him Moses [Pulled Out] and said, “I pulled him out of the water.”

Moses Kills an Egyptian & Flees to Midian     MORE

Forward: Mike Exton has written a study Bible, that I think is a very good study guide to understand just exactly what they Bible really means!  Many who study the Bible, know the words, but often they do not comprehend the message of the Bible.  Knowing God's words is one thing, understanding their meaning is a totally different experience.   Several years ago, I came up with a similar type Bible, whereas my idea was to convey to the reader that every time you read God's word in the Old Testament, you are in reality reading the words of Christ, for Jesus IS THE GOD who talks to man in the Old Testament.  In the Bible I presented, every word of God in Old or New Testament was in RED.. Mike's work is, unlike mine (so far) available as a in a paperback version, so the reader can get the Bible and study it carefully, without using a cumbersome computer.  I have all the links to Mike's work at the end of this article.  I greatly encourage our readers to read this version and buy the book! Now, Mike and I do not completely agree with some doctrine, but we are very close to understanding God's intent.  For example, I believe the Bible clearly shows a morning start to God's day. Mike, like the 7th Day Adventist follow the Jewish practice of the day starting in the evening. However in the total scheme of things, we basically agree on most of God's word, and especially the the belief that God's Ten Commandments are all in force to this day - including the 4th.

GENESIS

CHAPTER 1

God (Elohim) Creates the Heavens & the Earth

1 In the beginning God [Elohim; NOG] created the heavens and the earth. {NKJV}

{Ps 33:6 & 9 — By the WORD of the Lord the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast. — NKJV}

{Job 38:1-7 — “...Where were you [Job] when I [God] laid the foundations of the earth? ...When the morning stars [angels] sang together, and all the sons of God [angels] shouted for joy?” — NKJV}

Afterwards [perhaps millions or even billions of years later] the Heavens & Earth BECOME Tohuw & Bohuw (a formless wasteland; an empty ruin)

2 The earth BECAME [perhaps after millions or even billions of years later] a shapeless, chaotic mass, [original Hebrew = tohu & bohu] with the Spirit of God brooding over the dark gaseous mass. — TLB & its footnote

{The Hebrew word that is often translated “was” (instead of “became”) in Genesis 1:2, is Strong’s #1961: “hayah,” and can be translated as either “was” or “became” as shown in the TLB (as well as the NIV) footnote. This word is indeed translated as “became” many times in the Old Testament, such as in Gen 2:7—And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became (“hayah”) a living being; NKJV; Gen 2:10—Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became (“hayah”) four riverheads; NKJV; and Gen 19:26—But his wife looked back behind him, and she became (“hayah”) a pillar of salt. — NKJV

Also, the Hebrew word often translated “formless” (or “shapeless”) in this verse is Strong’s #8414: “tohuw,” and a good translation of this word would be “formless wasteland.” And the Hebrew word often translated “empty” in this verse is Strongs’s #922: “bohuw,” and a good translation of this word would be “empty ruin.”

In other words: In the beginning God (after making the angels) created the heavens and the earth (Gen 1:1). And then many years later the archangel Lucifer revolted (see Isaiah 14:12-15 and Ezekiel 28:11-19) against God and became Satan the devil; the enemy of God. In his rebellion against God, Satan caused the earth to BECOME a formless wasteland, an empty ruin (Gen 1:2). Then many years later God renewed & beautified the earth once again, creating plants, animals, human beings, etc. God also “appointed” the sun and moon at this time for days, months, seasons, years, and religious festivals. (Gen 1:3-31)}.

Isa 45:18 — For thus says the Lord, who created the heavens, who is God, who formed the earth and made it, who has established it, who did NOT create it in vain [“tohuw”—or an empty wasteland—the same Hebrew word found in Gen 1:2!]... — NKJV

Ps 104:30 — You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; and you RENEW the face of the earth. — NKJV

Job 38:1-7 — Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said: “...Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? ...When the morning stars [angels] sang together, and all the sons of God [angels] shouted for joy?” NKJV [Of course, the angels would NOT have been celebrating & singing & shouting for joy if the earth had been created an empty formless wasteland!]

Gen 1:16 — Then God made [or appointed] two great lights [the sun and the moon]: the greater light [the sun] to rule the day, and the lesser light [the moon] to rule the night.... NKJV [The Hebrew word often translated “made” in this verse is Strong’s #6213: “asah,”and can also be translated as “appointed,” and is indeed translated “appointed” many times in the Old Testament—such as in Psalm 104:19].

Ps 104:19 — He appointed [Hebrew: “asah”] the moon for seasons... — NKJV

God Renews the Heavens & the Earth [approximately 3973 B.C.]

— The 1st Day — LIGHT

Gen. 1:3 God {Elohim; NOG} said, “I command light to shine!” And light started shining. — CEV

4 Elohim saw the light was good. So Elohim separated the light from the darkness.

5 Elohim named the light day, and the darkness he named night. There was evening, then morning—the first day. OR: The twilight and the dawn were day one. — ISV

— The 2nd Day — SKY

6 Then Elohim said, “Let there be a horizon in the middle of the water in order to separate the water.”

7 So Elohim made the horizon and separated the water above and below the horizon. And so it was.

8 Elohim named what was above the horizon sky. There was evening, then morning—a second day. OR: The twilight and the dawn were the second day. — ISV

— The 3rd Day — DRY LAND & VEGETATION

9 Then Elohim said, “Let the water under the sky come together in one area, and let the dry land appear.” And so it was.

10 Elohim named the dry land earth. The water which came together he named sea. Elohim saw that it was good.

11 Then Elohim said, “Let the earth produce vegetation: plants bearing seeds, each according to its own type, and fruit trees bearing fruit with seeds, each according to its own type.” And so it was.

12 The earth produced vegetation: plants bearing seeds, each according to its own type, and trees bearing fruit with seeds, each according to its own type. Elohim saw that they were good.

13 The twilight and the dawn were the third day. — ISV

In the book of Revelation (the last book of the Holy Bible) we are sternly warned against receiving the mark of the BEAST (i.e. the Antichrist!). But what exactly is the MARK OF THE BEAST? And does this mark have anything to do with the NAME of the BEAST or the number 666? Or, is the mark of the Beast something totally different & separate from the name of the Beast and the number 666? And what exactly is the name of the Beast anyway? Is it an individual, a nation, a group of nations, or a church? And what about this mark—is it a LITERAL, PHYSICAL MARK? Or does it instead have a figurative, symbolic meaning? 

Let’s start off in our quest to answer these questions by first turning to Revelation 13:16-17. Here we are told that the Beast “required everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a MARK on the right hand or on the forehead. And no one could buy or sell anything without that MARK, WHICH WAS EITHER THE NAME OF THE BEAST OR THE NUMBER [666] REPRESENTING HIS NAME” (NLT). So this Scripture makes it perfectly clear that the mark of the Beast is simply either the NAME of the Beast or the NUMBER that represents his name. Therefore, having the MARK of the Beast on you is the same as having the NAME of the Beast on you (or the NUMBER that represents his name—666!). 

NUMER OF THE BEAST—666! 

But why the number 666? How does this number represent his name? Well, let’s let the Bible answer that question. Revelation 13:18 (LB) — “…the numerical values of the letters in his name add to 666.” This Scripture plainly shows that 666 is just the NUMERICAL SUM VALUE of the NAME of the Beast! For example, take the name “VIX.” If we use “Roman Numerals” then V = 5, I = 1, & X = 10. Then if we add up the numerical value of each letter of this name (5 + 1 + 10) we get 16. Therefore, Vix couldn’t possibly be the Beast because his name only adds up to 16 (while the name of the beast will add up to 666). But if Vix isn’t the Beast, who is?

WHO IS THE BEAST?

So WHO is this Beast (i.e. the Antichrist)? Is it a United European Superpower (a revived “Holy” Roman Empire) as some teach? Or is the Beast the LEADER of this revived system? The Beast is symbolic of BOTH—both the empire and its leader! But first and foremost it stands for its LEADER. To prove that it stands for the end-time political leader of this soon-coming system let’s turn to another Scripture in the book of Revelation. Revelation 19:20—Then the BEAST was captured, and with him the false prophet…. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone” (NKJ). This Scripture clearly shows that the Beast represents an end-time INDIVIDUAL, for both he and the false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire!

LITERAL, PHYSICAL MARK?

But what exactly is the mark of the Beast, the mark of this end-time political leader? Will it be a PHYSICAL, LITERAL MARK (or is this mark just a metaphor, having some kind of hidden, mystical meaning)?

The mark of the beast will DEFINITELY be a literal physical mark! In Revelation 13:16 & 14:11 several different translations of the Bible (GW, NOG, EXB, NEB, & the JB) state that the mark of the Beast will be “BRANDED” on human beings. The AMPC, NABRE, & the EXB state that the mark of the Beast will be STAMPED on people. But I like the way the Living Bible translates these two verses the best, as it declares that the mark of the Beast will be “TATTOOED” on humans! But regardless if the mark of the Beast is branded, stamped, or tattooed, all of these translations unanimously agree that the mark will be a LITERAL PHYSICAL MARK that others will easily be able to see!

RECEIVING MARK = ALLEGIANCE TO SATAN!

If you read the book of Revelation very carefully (especially chapter 14) you will notice that anyone who WILLINGLY receives the mark of the Beast will be severely punished by God. But God most certainly will NOT punish someone who has this mark PHYSICALLY FORCED upon them, nor will He punish someone who UNKNOWINGLY receives this mark (as some conspiracy theorists teach)! The person has to KNOWINGLY, WILLINGLY ACCEPT THE MARK.

But anyone who WILLINGLY AND KNOWINGLY allows the mark of the Beast to be placed on his or her body (either on their right hand or on their forehead) will be going directly against God! Instead of obeying their Creator, they will instead be obeying Satan! They will in essence be pledging their ALLEGIANCE and their loyalty to Satan the devil (see Rev. 13:16 in both the AMP & EXB translations of the Bible)! And those who do so will be sternly punished by God! And they will be without excuse, for not only will there be two witnesses (or prophets) who tell them not to worship the Beast (or his statue) or receive his mark, but an angel from heaven will also command the inhabitants of the world not to do so (Revelation 14:9)!

NAME OF THE BEAST? 

So, what is the name of the Beast? And who will this end-time political leader be? Whoever he is, one thing we know for sure, the letters of his name will add up to 666! But can anyone think of a better name than ROMAN?

First of all, “ROMAN” can be translated as “LATEINOS” in the Greek language. (But why use the Greek language? Because most of the New Testament was originally written in Greek—including the book of Revelation). In the Greek language “L” represents the number 30, “A” is 1, “T” is 300, “E” is 5, “I” is 10, “N” is 50, “O” is 70, and “S” is 200. Add them up (30 + 1 + 300 + 5 + 10 + 50 + 70 + 200) and what do you get? 666!

Secondly, if his name were “ROMAN,” it would be similar to the false trinity doctrine as it would represent three things in one. Not only would it be the name of this end-time political leader, but it also would represent the ROMAN Empire as well as the ROMAN (Catholic) Church.

WARNING! 

No matter what you do in the future, NEVER (under any circumstances whatsoever!) receive the mark of the Beast or worship him (i.e. the Antichrist) or his statue!!!

“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard... the Antichrist is coming... The man of sin... the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped... He will even sit in the temple of God, claiming that he himself is God” (1 John 2:18 NKJ; 2 Thess. 2:3-4 NKJ; 2 Thess. 2:4 NLT).

“Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. And it was granted to him to make war with the saints [TRUE Christians] and to overcome [conquer] them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have NOT been written in the Book of Life...” (Rev. 13:6-8 NKJ).

“If anyone worships the beast [i.e. the Antichrist] and his image [i.e. his statue], and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. And he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb [i.e. Jesus Christ]. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever, and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name” (Rev. 14:9–11 NKJ).

Besides what is stated in Revelation 13:16-17 there are six other Scriptures that discuss the Mark of the Beast and ALL six of these Scriptures use the words mark & name interchangeably! In other words they are synonymous with each other! They mean exactly the same! Having the Mark of the Beast on you is the same as having the Name of the Beast on you (or the number that represents his name—666).

NUMBER OF THE BEAST

Revelation 13:18— “…the numerical values of the letters in his name add to 666” (LB).

666 is just the numerical sum value of the Name of the Beast! 

For example, take the name “Vix.”

Using Roman Numerals: V = 5 I = 1 X = 10 

Then if we add up the numerical value of each letter of his name we get 16. Therefore, Vix couldn’t possibly be the Beast because his name only adds up to 16, while the name of the beast will add up to 666. 

Holy Roman Empire or LEADER of the Holy Roman Empire?

So what is this Beast? Does it represent the “Holy” Roman Empire as some teach OR does it represent the end-time LEADER of this revived system?

The Beast is symbolic of BOTH! Both the empire and its leader! But first and foremost it stands for its LEADER. To prove that it stands for the end-time political leader of this soon-coming system let’s turn to:

Revelation 19:20—Then the BEAST was captured, and with him the false prophet…. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone” (NKJ).

This Scripture clearly shows that the beast represents an end-time individual, for both he and the false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire! 

Literal, Physical Mark OR Figurative, Symbolic Meaning?

But what exactly is the Mark of the Beast, the mark of this end-time political leader? Will it be a physical, literal mark OR is this mark just a metaphor, having some kind of hidden, mystical meaning?

The mark of the beast will definitely be a literal physical mark! In Revelation 13:16-17 the Jerusalem Bible (as well as the New English Bible) both state that the mark of the beast will be “branded” on human beings, while the Living Bible declares that the mark of the beast will be “tattooed” on humans—clearly showing that the mark will be a literal physical mark that others will easily be able to see!

Receiving Mark = Outward Acceptance of Satan & His System

If you read the book of Revelation very carefully (especially chapter 14) you will see that anyone who WILLINGLY receives the mark of the beast will be punished by God.
