In Matthew 24 Jesus spoke specifically to His disciples about the very warnings that will point to His second coming. This amazing event of His return will be the end of the age of man and will be the establishment of His Kingdom on earth. He said to them: “Do you see all these buildings? Truly I say to you, they will be so completely demolished that not one stone will be left on top of another!” As He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” Jesus answered them,“Be careful that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will lead many astray.” (Mathew 24: 3-5 in The Plain Truth Red Letter “Original Order” Bible by Bob Barney.)
When Jesus said this, He was speaking as prophet knowing all of what the future would hold. He understood that not only false messiahs would appear on the world stage but false religions as well; a good example of this is Islam. Jesus was speaking of a time when many would come to use His name proclaiming that, "Jesus is the Christ", and still manage to deceive many. He also spoke of 'false Christianity' (not to be confused with false pagan religions), when He said they will come in His name. Unfortunately, most Christians mistakenly assume that Jesus was predicting the arrival of impostors claiming to be Him but really posing as the Antichrist, however, that IS NOT the correct warning here! He was warning us and His disciples about FALSE CHRISTIANITY masquerading as the real thing!
Matthew 24 is one of the longest single prophecies in the Bible and is the most important prophecy that Christ ever did make while on Earth. It is about the birth of a new age after an eruption of world crises' that in fact will end the age of man. The seven seals represent the unfolding of such events and here they are in order: false prophets, war, famine, pestilence, tribulation, heavenly signs, and the seven trumpets that will lead directly to Christ’s return; these events are to happen in rapid succession!
The world's population is set to hit eight billion
According to the United Nations in an updated report, the world's population is set to hit 8 billion by November of this year.
Originally the UN stated there would be 8.5 billion persons by 2030 and 10.4 billion by 2100 but then cited a reason for the spur in growth. They claim it is due to lifespans of those in the third world being lengthened as they have progressed to having better medical care, greater availability of modern medicines, and overall better farming techniques. What the report failed to consider or to mention is how the war in Ukraine will affect these numbers as it is triggering a worldwide famine. Experts warn that food shortages could kill millions in the world, including a percentage of the poor in Western Europe and the America's.
Here are some more of the latest population statistics:
India is due to surpass China as the world's most populous country in 2023. Even though both countries are coming in at more than 1.4 billion residents this year, the UN warns that high fertility will substantially challenge economic growth. According to the domestic census, India's population was 1.21 billion in 2011. Their census is conducted once a decade, but the government had postponed the 2021 census due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to Eurostat, aka the European Statistical Office, the population of the 27 countries that make up the bloc had a decrease close to 172,000 from the previous year and over 656,000 from January 2020. This was a second year in a row the European Union's population shrank as the region reels from over two million deaths because of the coronavirus. 'In 2020 and 2021 the positive net migration no longer compensated for the negative natural change in the EU and, consequently, the EU’s total population has been decreasing,' it said, pointing to impacts from the pandemic.
Interesting to note, the number of deaths began outstripping births in the EU a decade ago, but immigration from outside the bloc helped offset the gap until the first year of the pandemic.
Did you know that God has a lot to say in the Bible about population?
For those interested in Bible prophecy and especially the Four Horsemen prophecies, the increase in population will result in the increase of people killed off during the coming Great Tribulation. In Revelation chapter six, the second seal introduces a great world war. This war will result in the death of a fourth of the world's population. That would be 2 billion people killed in a world war!
The sixth trumpet introduces two hundred million horsemen who kill one-third of the people; that is a mind-blowing number of almost 3 billion! This will occur between the fortieth and forty-second month of the first part of the Tribulation and will bring us to fifty percent of the population being destroyed by God. These individuals have taken the mark of the Beast and are considered incorrigibles. The fifty percent mentioned here killed only by the midway part of the Tribulation would encompass approximately four billion deaths due to war, famine, and disease.
Sadly, even after four billion deaths, the people of this age who do not know the plain truth about Jesus Christ and His message will continue to reject Him and continue to sin. The Apostle John, author of the Apocalypse, wrote these sad words, “And the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts” (Rev. 9:20-21).
There are some estimates mentioned that 90% of the people alive when the Tribulation starts will be killed; that's 7.2 billion people! Jesus Himself declared that if He would not return to save us from ourselves, NO ONE would survive the Tribulation. He claims that only because of the "elect ones" which are the true followers of Christ, will He save what is left of mankind and the world. Stop and think about that for a moment; it is sobering indeed.
Conclusively. the boom in population that the UN ignorantly predicts will NOT be the future for this present world as the population will see a rapid decrease over our final 7 years. The Good News is that Jesus will stop us from killing off mankind.
It appears we’re in a phase where global systems of food and energy production are being intentionally dismantled in an effort to force into effect what the World Economic Forum (WEF) calls The Great Reset and the Rockefeller Foundation calls Reset the Table.
According to the WEF, capitalism is dead and we can no longer allow for free markets. Instead, we need a top-down governance, a New World Order (or One World Order), that can ensure “fair and equitable” distribution of dwindling resources. What they’re really saying, however, is that soon-to-be-useless people are gobbling up “their” resources.
They see us — you and me — as an existential threat to their luxurious lifestyle. So, their decades-old plan is to seize control of it all, transfer all wealth and private ownership into their own hands, and centrally control who gets what and when.
Other terms that also describe or play a part in this “reset” agenda include but are not limited to Agenda 2030, the Green Agenda, the New World Order, Sustainable Development, Build Back Better, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution — which has an unmistakable transhumanist component (i.e., the merging of biological or physical technologies in the human body).

It is amazing how the Bible itself has accurately predicted what is going to be occurring in the world while most of us don't pay a blind's eye to what is really happening. The Faux News is merely distracting most of us working folks from being informed about what God has predicted so long ago. The Plain Truth has predicted since its inception that not only will Europe reunite as a revised Holy Roman Empire but become one again. So today we read in WND.com that of all people, Boris Johnson used that exact term!
Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party, has always been controversial but he raised the volume last week when he suggested that the best way to unite Europe was by, "recreating the Roman Empire".
His vision of the Roman Empire in the 21st century is based on a partnership that includes Turkey and the North African states. At the NATO summit in Madrid last month, he told reporters that this would be based on the 'Mare Nostrum', the Latin term for the Mediterranean Sea. It is interesting to note that 19th-century Italian nationalist fascists used the term to describe Italy as the successor state to the Roman Empire. The term was again taken up by Benito Mussolini for use in fascist propaganda in a similar manner to Adolf Hitler’s lebensraum system of colonialism.
Hitler's Europe is the model of what Europe is to become again. Most people today see the European Union as a civilized socialist democracy that many in America admire but that is going to change; Europe will unite again and re-arm. Weak leaders like Obama, Biden and the RINO Republicans will cause Europeans to see that America can't be trusted to protect them. Once Europe is a major power again a Hitler like monster will gain control of the empire. In the book of Daniel, he is called the King of the North and in Revelation, he is the antichrist.

People often cite Japan's long tradition of "honorable suicide" as a reason for the high rate here, and they are correct! They point to the Samurai practice of committing "seppuku" or to the young "kamikaze" pilots of 1945, to show there are distinct cultural reasons why Japanese are more likely to take their own lives. This mindset would have no worries about sending every H bomb to China killing off the entire population, even if that meant their own destruction!
Now, because of Putin's stupidity, After weeks of refusing to send military aid to Ukraine due to a longstanding policy never to send arms to conflict zones, Germany has reversed course.
On Saturday, Berlin buckled under the pressure of fierce criticism from other western European nations and has now opted to send 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 Stinger anti-aircraft defense systems out of its own arsenal and has also granted approval for the Netherlands and Estonia to ship some of their own German-originated weapons to aid Ukraine, Politico reported.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said the decision is due to the historic nature of Russia’s invasion and the need to defend its Ukrainian allies.
"The Russian attack marks a turning point. It is our duty to do our best to help Ukraine defend against the invading army of Putin. That's why we're supplying 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 stinger missiles to our friends in the Ukraine," he tweeted, as Axios reported.
Why is this happening? A weak USA lead by a complete idiots, Joe Biden and Barak Obama (Oh yes, Obama is the destroyer of America) have forced Europe and Japan to realize that America does not have their back and that they must learn to raise their own powerful armies to defend themselves, not realizing that this will lead to totalitarianism in their own land.
In January, Germany had refused to approve Estonia’s request to send its own German-made howitzers to Ukraine as Russia appeared ready to launch an invasion, angering other European nations who called on Berlin to do more to help fend off the Kremlin’s aggression.
Germany is the largest and wealthiest nation in the European Union, so it undoubtedly plays a major role in the west’s ultimate effectiveness at helping to thwart Putin’s advances in Ukraine.
“The problem in Europe is that a lot of it is supplied by German manufacturers, and Germany so far is withholding consent,” an official to a western European nation said last week, as Politico reported. “That instantly limits the available stores in Europe.”
“Now is the time to help as much as we can,” another official said as Germany still maintained its refusal to help on Friday. “There are people dying and [there] will be more if we don’t do what is the bare minimum,” the official said, adding: “It is a question of survival for Ukraine.”
It is believed that the extensive pressure of other western allies ultimately drove Germany to reverse course.

Make no doubt about it, there will be a "strongman" of Europe. He will be a man, not a woman. When he appears (and I don't know when) he will convince the civilized world that he is the greatest person who will have ever lived. He will be more popular than Jesus, and will fool many people. In fact, Jesus said that unless God loved His elect, even they would be deceived! Paul calls this evil man "The man of lawlessness." The man of lawlessness in 2 Thessalonians 2:1–12 is an antichrist who will come on the world stage at the beginning of the Day of the Lord. This Day, sometimes called the “end times.” He is given the title “man of lawlessness” because he will oppose God's Law, just as the Catholic Church and most so-called Christian Churches do today! Daniel 7 speaks of this man as a “boastful” king who will “try to change the set times and the laws” (verses 11 and 25). He will come offering a false peace and prosperity to the civilized world and will with his media-star- personality, convince everyone that he is a great human being. He will be able to perform fake miracles, bring nations together in a global government, and align religiously with the Roman Church and the Pope, the False Prophet, and also an Antichrist. They will make a covenant with Israel for three and one-half years (cf. Daniel 9:27, where “seven” indicates seven years). In the middle of the seven years, the man of lawlessness will break his covenant with Israel, stop their sacrifices (Daniel 9:27), and enter the temple to set himself up as “god” and demand worship (2 Thessalonians 2:4). This is the “abomination that causes desolation” that Jesus spoke of in Mark 13:14.
Two beasts are described in Revelation chapter 13, one from the sea (vs. 1) and one from the land (vs. 11). With the beast out of the sea, we come to that one who, regardless of his claims as the white horse rider or peace maker, comes as a great source of darkness into the world. He comes not to save the world, but to damn the world. In essence, what we have in this chapter in the rise of the beast and the false prophet is nothing short of the ‘trinity from hell’ in that both are the product of the machinations of that old serpent, the devil or Satan.
My view, which is NOT BIBLICAL, but just a hunch, is that this strongman of Europe will ride in on a wave of populism which is now raging worldwide, but unlike what people needlessly fear in Donald Trump, this man (maybe another billionaire) will use Trump's "game plan" to fool the world. The big difference of course is that the main stream media will anoint him, as they did Obama, as a savior! The media is evil, controlled by the prince of the airways (Satan) and will always get it wrong when it comes to predicting evil people. So, again, in conclusion, I will not doubt for a minute that we may see, appearing on our TV screens, a liberal billionaire who will come to prominence in Europe. He will probably be German (but maybe Italian of Germanic decent). Isaiah chapter 10 predicts that the antichrist or beast is Assyrian. Assyria IS modern Germany! Dr. Herman Hoeh wrote in "Germany in Prophecy!": "When the ancient Greek writers wanted to distinguish the Assyrians from the Arameans or Syrians, the Greeks called the Assyrians, 'Leucosyri' - meaning 'whites' or 'blonds' as distinct from the very brunette Syrians who still live in Mesopotamia." (Plain Truth, Jan. 1963, p.17). By the time of Christ, the Roman naturalist Pliny the Elder recorded that the Assyrians were now dwelling north of the Black sea (Natural History, IV, 12, p.183). By this time, they had moved north. But they did not stop there, as Herbert Armstrong wrote in The United States and Britain in Prophecy: "The Assyrians - before 604 B.C. - left their land north of Babylon and migrated northwest - through the lands that are now Georgia, the Ukraine, Poland, and into the land that is called GERMANY today. Today the descendants of those Assyrians are known to us as the GERMAN people" (pp.143-144, 1980 ed.).
For centuries, the German people have dominated the heartland of Western Europe. Yet they are a people who know very little about their true origin - or at least refuse to know. The Germans themselves are responsible for hiding much of this knowledge, just as many tried to hide their past at the end of the Hitler era. Just as the modern-day Israelites are one family of people from many different tribes, so too are the German people today. They number well over 100 million people worldwide - most of them residing in Germany and Austria.
We know who the nations of the world are. This knowledge, from God's word, enables us to understand the news today, and why and where things will happen - what to expect - and everything we need to know.
The STRONGMAN of EUROPE will appear on the world stage and when it happens - TROUBLE is about to hit the fan.......
Some teach that the Mark of the beast is a tattooed number, bar code, or a computer chip under the skin. But what does the Bible say? John wrote, “He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Revelation 13:16-17).
The book of Revelation reveals that the mark of the beast is not a literal brand but some sign of allegiance. This sign identifies the bearer as loyal to the power represented by the beast. In order to know what the “mark” is, we must first identify the following:
Who is the beast.
The Bible identifies the first beast of Revelation 13 as the papacy.
God says, “I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord that sanctify them” (Ezekiel 20:12). “It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth” (Exodus 31:17). God’s sign or mark, the seventh day Sabbath (Genesis 2:2,3; Exodus 20:8-11), represents His holy power to rule as Creator and Savior.
Remember after 9/11, when Billy Graham's people decided the word "crusade" was too inflammatory? I don't remember the more benign term used for a time after that, but the thinking was, "crusade" might be offensive to Muslims.
That kind of thinking emboldens radical Islam. The imagery of the Crusades – in which large numbers of people in the Middle East swam in their own blood during the gruesome confrontations over Jerusalem – is often used by Muslims, who excel in propaganda. By the way – and this isn't meant as an afterthought – the Jews might have some unpleasant memories of the Crusades, as well.
Rodney Stark, though, in "God's Battalions," makes an argument he should be applauded for: The Crusaders were not expansionist and bullying; rather they were a reaction to Muslim hostilities. The idea that the Crusades were launched in reaction to Muslim aggressiveness is a story too long suppressed, and finally, we have a concise record of what really happened.
This is an engaging book, well-researched and expertly written. Stark represents the best of what happens when a gifted historian combines superb writing skill. One wonders if this book could be the basis of a documentary.
It is perhaps a surprise that what some would consider a conservative view is being published by HarperOne, but then again, all publishers realize today that with the economy the way it is, cash is a powerful lure; a strong book – which "God's Battalions" I is – can be comforting and profitable.
Politically correct history courses tell us that almost a thousand years ago, the Muslim world was a tolerant, advanced civilization in the Arabian desert. Think David Lean and Peter O'Toole as history professors.
Stark, though, paints a different picture, and the social scientist from Baylor makes a compelling case that is was the age-old aggressiveness of the Ishmaelites that brought Christian warriors to Jerusalem.
Stark begins by quite vividly painting a picture of Pope Urban II's speech in 1095, in a French meadow, in which he read from a desperate letter sent by the emperor of Byzantium, who was rightly concerned about the war-like Seljuk Turks – an army within 100 miles of Constantinople. Among other things, the torturing of Christians was becoming a battle tactic of the Muslims. I think this would sound familiar, right now, to Palestinian Christians in Bethlehem.
From there, Stark presents an engrossing tale of the myths and facts of the Crusades. For example, he says clearly that despite what some other historians have said, the Crusader armies were not made up of "the dregs of society" due to terrible economic conditions. Actually, says Stark, there was a period of economic growth in Europe during this time, and not only nobility funded the military excursions, but so did commoners.
Stark also addresses, in skillful fashion, the nuance of this sweeping story. Describing the brutality of a small contingent of Crusaders – "German knights" – who were bent on murdering Jews they found along the way, the bishop of Speyer sheltered that town's Jews (all but 12, who failed to heed warnings and were butchered), illustrating that down through history, while Christendom has a stained record with the Jews, many Christians have come to the aid of the Jews.
It is the encounters that the Crusaders had with Muslims hordes, however, that are most epic (a side-note for the immature reader: Several of the leaders of the Crusades had names that sounded like something straight out of Saturday Night Live: Walter the Penniless, Emicho of Leisingen and so forth).
Recounting an engagement near Tiberias between Crusader forces and the infamous Saladin, Stark adds rich texture to "God's Battalions":
"Then, as the sun rose and with the wind at their backs, Saladin's forces set fire to large collections of brush, and the smoke made it difficult for the Christians to keep track of their units," Stark writes. Carnage then ensued, and, "All of the Templars and Hospitallers taken captive were beheaded; the other captives were enslaved."
Stark does such a good job of fleshing out historical detail, it's difficult to name a favorite portion of the book. However, he shows us that truly, history repeats itself endlessly. In Chapter 10 ("Crusaders Against Egypt"), he shows the reader how critical this ancient land was to stability in the Middle East – just as we are learning in painful ways today.
"God's Battalions" is a wonderful historical record, and readers and historians alike should read it with the gusto it deserves, for the lessons contained in it are instructive for our time. Congratulations to Rodney Stark for harnessing history in such spectacular fashion.

The exact order of this is given by Christ himself in Mathew 24. Jesus is plain about the end times. One, nobody knows the exact hour or time of the return of Christ. No man, no Angel and especiallynot a single Demon. So the next time you hear your favorite preacher tell you the rapture may come tonight realize that he is either: A) A fraud or B) Just ignorant! The truth is that since the time of Paul, we have been living in “the last days!” (Heb 1:2). Even the Apostles of God did not know when Jesus would return, why should a TV preacher know?

A gigantic swarm of locusts that belong to a plague that has ravaged millions of acres of crops across east Africa has been spotted reaching the Chinese border.

In Jackson, Mississippi, hundreds of residents either watched their homes flood over the weekend or worried their residence would soon be drenched as the Pearl River crested Monday at 36.8 feet, its third-highest level ever recorded – behind only 1979 and 1983.
Calling the Jackson floods “historic” and “unprecedented,” Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves said in a Sunday press conference that “we do not anticipate this situation to end anytime soon. It will be days before we are out of the woods and the waters recede.”

One can only imagine the worldwide impact to come from the culmination of the ride of the pale horseman. The world has seen relatively mild precursors.
Disease travels in tandem with fear. While the first can lead to the death of thousands, the second can unravel the social fabric, disrupting the precarious balance of relationships essential for the stability of nations.
The most recent disease fear was SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome), which killed hundreds last year and panicked thousands more. Before that it was AIDS, which has killed tens of millions and even today is still decimating the populations of some countries. Tomorrow it could be another, even greater plague to sweep across the landscape, leaving death and destruction in its wake.
In this series we have been examining each of the first four seals of Revelation 6. These seals, dramatically depicted by four horsemen, show the effect of false religion, war, famine and plague among the earth’s population in the days leading to the return of Jesus Christ.
Each of these seals represents powerful forces that devastate human life on the earth. The cumulative effect will lead to such conditions that if Jesus Christ did not intervene and cut short the time of trial, “no flesh would be saved” (Matthew 24:22).
We now come to the fourth seal, the fourth horseman, and his ride of death by plague. How will the ride of this horseman affect the nations of the earth?

Revelation 6:7-8 tells us this about the fourth seal: “When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, ‘Come and see.’ So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him.”

Deadly germs, Lost cures: A Mysterious Infection, Spanning the Globe
Last May, an elderly man was admitted to the Brooklyn branch of Mount Sinai Hospital for abdominal surgery. A blood test revealed that he was infected with a newly discovered germ as deadly as it was mysterious. Doctors swiftly isolated him in the intensive care unit.
The germ, a fungus called Candida auris, preys on people with weakened immune systems, and it is quietly spreading across the globe. Over the last five years, it has hit a neonatal unit in Venezuela, swept through a hospital in Spain, forced a prestigious British medical center to shut down its intensive care unit, and taken root in India, Pakistan and South Africa.
Recently C. auris reached New York, New Jersey and Illinois, leading the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to add it to a list of germs deemed “urgent threats.”

To whom am I to give word, witnessing so that they may take note? see, their ears are stopped, and they are not able to give attention: see, the word of the Lord has been a cause of shame to them, they have no delight in it. For this reason I am full of the wrath of the Lord, I am tired of keeping it in: may it be let loose on the children in the street, and on the band of the young men together: for even the husband with his wife will be taken, the old man with him who is full of days. And their houses will be handed over to others, their fields and their wives together: for my hand will be stretched out against the people of the land, says the Lord. For from the least of them even to the greatest, everyone is given up to getting money; from the prophet even to the priest, everyone is working deceit. And they have made little of the wounds of my people, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace."
Another translation says: "'Everything is all right! Everything is all right!' But it's not all right." And everything is NOT all right indeed! If we don't change things soon, we will end up as slaves to an end time beast called the King of the North, in the bible, and a false prophet, who I believe will be a Pope. The Bible is quite clear that the Holy Roman Empire is the 4th and last beast-type regime that will rule the earth. In Revelation, there are seven resurrections of that empire, and the 7th may be soon upon us. God help us if it is. There is no rapture, we all go into the tribulation and we all must endure to the end, or be martyred for Christ. This is The Plain Truth--as sobering as it is. PRAY we are not living in these times.

This is not widely known, and the Hollywood movie made several years ago did not mention it, but the famous Jewish historian Josephus records that Alexander accompanied the priest of the Living God to the Temple into Jerusalem, where he "offered sacrifice to God, according to the high priest's direction, and magnificently treated both the high priest and the priests." Josephus lived in the first century AD and his history of the Jewish people are read to this day.
We are often told that the Old Testament prophecies are mainly "fairy tales" that never really were fulfilled. They were actually written after the events happened and then written down after the fact, claiming to be written at an earlier time. This is a total lie propagated by historians in an attempt to make the Bible an error filled uninspired book of men.
These historians know that Alexander the Great conquered Egypt, Syria, Palestine, and the known world of his day. Josephus says that he was told about Daniel, and the fact that his reign was predicted some 200 years earlier by the great prophet, Daniel! Alexander was no doubt impressed!
